Henry blinked at her in confusion, polite smile still plastered on his face. But it faltered a little when he heard his name. Nothing about her was familiar to him, and he felt a strange sense of guilt about that, wondering how he'd entirely forgotten a past conversation. In his anxious state, he hadn't considered the possibility that it might be a future one. "Uh - hi? Yeah, that's me." Was he wearing a name tag? Henry frowned, glancing down at himself. No, he wasn't. "— Sorry, you're...?" He trailed off in question, trying desperately to place her but failing.

Desperate to find a grimoire to aid her in her studies, Davina sat curled up in the corner of the library, tossing through countless useless books. She hadn't really expected to find anything of substance, but it was a harmless chance she'd taken. It was the voice that approached that had pulled her out of her frustrated state, her eyes glancing up at the owner in wonder. He looked different, but Davina never forgot a face. Least of all his. "There was but... I think I found something else I'd forgotten I was looking for." He'd warned her this would happen, but it was a hard concept to believe until you saw it for yourself. Years had passed, and she'd given up hope, choosing to move on with her life and discount him as a passing memory. Davina wasn't sure how she felt to have been proven wrong. "Henry?"

When sunlight hit his eyes, Henry groaned, rolling onto his back, the pounding in his head only moving with him. He so desperately wanted to fall back asleep, but fearing the nausea wasn't just a hangover, Henry knew he had to wake up in case he travelled. Unfortunately, he was never allowed to be irresponsible for long. Forcing his eyes open, Henry noticed for the first time that he wasn't alone. Long blonde hair splayed across his arm, and he squinted at the sleeping woman, trying to recall their night together. There were bits and pieces, enough to make him feel okay about it. He was confident they'd had a good time, even if they'd both wake to regret it. "Morning," he greeted, noticing her stirring. Fuck, what was her name? He rubbed his eyes. "So... I'm an asshole, I'm sorry. What was your name again? I swear it's S something, and now that I've said that, I'm worried that's not even close. I just can't fucking think right now."
