Mahogany Logs OSRS—Cutting (Where to) Selling (GE): Oldschool Runescape Mahogany
Mahogany Logs OSRS—Cutting (Where to) Selling (GE): Oldschool Runescape Mahogany
Current method of cutting Mahogany Logs to sell or use, at the best locations: The number one question people have after they choose to use this method on Oldschool Runescape over the others, like Teaks or Redwoods, is: "where are the banks near Mahogany Trees OSRS?". This is a difficult question to answer. Without "answering a question with a question", let's start from the beginning, to talk about the Mahogany Trees on OSRS:
Where can you chop Mahogany Trees as usual? Before worrying about getting to/from a bank, attempting to know where the trees are is a great first step, as you know where to go after getting to the bank. And so, knowing all of the locations of the Mahoganies in this game, you can make your own decision of which place to use based on your needs.
Guide For Getting To Mahogany Tree Spots in OSRS, From A to B Fully Broken Down
Every method listed here (and other other way of getting there) makes use of teleports in-game, so it doesn't matter where you start from or where you are in Oldschool Runescape to begin with. You could be at an Enclosure, or the Grand Exchange, for example. It doesn't matter; All of these methods can be reached from any location, starting place, so don't worry about that.
OSRS Trees Location #1 — Teak and Mahogany Trees Here!
The best place to cut these types of trees in Oldschool Runescape is the Tai Bwo Wannai Location Enclosure. It requires you go deep inside of the Karamja jungle, carrying Trading Sticks and either a Dragon Axe for regular Woodcutting, or an Infernal Axe for gaining Firemaking experience whilst you cut the trees (passively burning the logs chopped every so often).
To get Trading Sticks (the OSRS currency of the Karamja: you can either do the sub-optimal way of gathering the currency for getting inside of the closure, by repairing the fence surrounding the village and/or killing the Broodoo Victims, or use the best way of getting the Trading sticks. Buying the currency from the Grand Exchange is quick, cheap, and has an associated buy limit high enough to chop Mahogany Trees whilst buying the Trading Sticks, selling Mahogany Logs, in the Grand Exchange, during the whole process, to never run out completely. Though this requires multiple trips to/from the bank with Mahogany Logs, it's not too hard of a journey with the proper teleports.
#1 Ape Atoll: Trees at The Monkey Madness/II Quest Locations/Teleports
This location is a little bit closer to a bank, due to the teleports which are unlocked for completing the Monkey Madness II and its related sub-tasks rewarding the player with a teleport closer to the Mahogany Trees location. However, it takes much longer to unlock everything required for this location, so the HelpfulnesOSRs Tumblr would personally recommend using the easier "Tai Bwo Wannai" location, which requires only Trading Sticks and an OSRS Axe you can use.
To summarise: Twi Bwo Wannai & Ape Atoll. These are the best places to find Mahogany Trees on Oldschool Runescape, for cutting OSRS Mahogany Trees To Level 99 Stats Info and More
This wraps up the HelpfulnesOSRs article on Mahogany Trees, an Oldschool Runescape method of training Woodcutting to level 99 with profit and Logs for your benefit, in collaboration with Piss_Gaming and their article on this topic. Show your appreciation if you did appreciate it, with Rebogs and likes, so I know this is what to do to keep doing it!
Thanks for reading my Tumblr post.

Need Help With the Teak Trees OSRS Woodcutting Training Method? F.A.Q Post
People often confuse the meanings of words in Oldschool Runescape, as skills become closely related in their useful resources (either used or gained), based on the item tier it belongs to, for knowing when the item (or in this case, Teak Tree/log and sapling) is unlocked as a way to train the skill. For example: A tier-40 resource is one which is unlocked at level 40 as a potential way to train...
And in this case, the Teak Trees and its respective Teak logs, are both unlocked early on in the game to be BIS (or "EHP") in training Woodcutting. This post will list the details of doing so, answering any questions you may have about the trees and the resources you gather from chopping them. With that, let's get into the F.A.Q for this type of tree!
Should I chop this tree, and more importantly, WHERE can I FIND Teak Trees OSRS
This is a question most often asked by players with a low Woodcutting level in OSRS
, as they look to train the skill to Google around only to find the method, but no information on how to get to where they need to be to begin chopping! So before you can begin with training Woodcutting at the best experience rates, you need to go to the place where they are located.
You can find Teak Trees at the following locations in Oldschool Runescape:
Tai Bwo Wannai, within the enclosure.
This location requires trading sticks to enter, and the same Trading sticks to bank. To enter the grove, enclosure, and to bank, 100, or 25, Trading sticks are required for entering the Teak Trees enclosure and for banking the Teak logs, respectively.
Fossil Island (Hardwood Trees)
The hardwood trees are prime location for 1.5 Tick Teaks, as they allow you to cycle (using Tick Manipulation) constantly whilst running between each of the trees to chop constantly, for the best experience rates per hour in Oldschool Runescape. This method is a highly click-intensive method but offers the most experience per hour in Woodcutting, for 1.5 Tick Teaks.
Ape Atoll (Monkey Island)
These Teak Trees are the closest to a bank, with the best teleports for cutting down the time between trips down (with the relevant quest rewards completed) to help boost your Woodcutting experience rate per hour in OSRS, banking the Teak Logs as a bonus to training the skill. More on this, however, in the following paragraphs as another F.A.Q about Teaks and their role in training Woodcutting in Oldschool Runescape.
Should You Bank Teak Logs If You're Using The Trees to Train Woodcutting OSRS?
The short answer is no. You should not bank the Teak logs
if you're trying to achieve the highest experience rates per hour in Oldschool Runescape. This is because the logs are very low cost, high volume within the Grand Exchange, and the trips to/from the bank cuts into your Woodcutting experience/hr too much for it to ever be valid. Especially with content such as the Misc Kingdom, a great source for Teak Logs and Bird Nests passively, in 0time, as you gain Woodcutting experience in 0time.
These are the most asked questions people have before training WC in Oldschool Runescape, and I hope that by answering them here, you have a great point of reference to go on from to start cutting Teak Trees yourself for EHP Woodcutting experience. Should you have more questions, please let me know in a comment/re-blog. If you liked the post, give it a heart!

In this Tumblr post at HelpfulnesOSRS - by Piss_Gaming:
Make Woodcutting in OSRS Benefit You With Mahogany Trees Locations Near A Bank.
If the player does with to benefit from training OSRS Woodcutting
, they should seek to cut Mahogany Logs. Otherwise, for the fastest experience, cutting Teak trees is the way to train to 99 quickly.
As I have mentioned, the (small) boost in WC profits per hour using whatever method being Bird Nests aren't worth it as a sole pursuit of generating GP for the account, for the reasons mentioned in blog posts prior, with other methods of money-making being better in Oldschool Runescape than Woodcutting logs for GP.
If you do use this method to train Woodcutting, then the logs, Teak aren't worth banking. Even though there are locations near banks where you can cut Teak trees OSRS, the logs are worth nothing on the Grand Exchange, so while you won't profit much from cutting them to sell yourself, they can easily be purchased from the G.E for little cost in GP for getting however many Teak logs in Oldschool RuneScape (OSRS) you require for whatever goal you have (such as Teak Tables/Benches in Construction). The best areas for these trees are found with Mahogany Trees also in close proximity, with the Mahogany Logs being the real profit venture for Woodcutting in Oldschool Runescape.
It's great to check the Oldschool Runescape Wiki and 2007rs Reddits for a more clear picture on training skills- if you can't be bothered, read on! I have done it for you, and will cover everything you need to know about OSRS Woodcutting to 99 here, in this post (as a follow-up from the last).   According to the Farming/Woodcutting OSRS Wiki articles, the information you should know before going through with getting to the tree locations, to train at the best rates, is broken down into the following paragraphs...
Teak Tree/Seed (Farming) - OSRSWiki Article on Woodcutting and Farming for Teaks
These seeds are prepped in the same way as any other - or you can buy them straight from the Grand Exchange. With the saplings ready for training, you navigate to a Teak tree location before heading back to the bank, to plant for chopping down later. Once you've waited the necessary 2 days of growing time at a
Hardwood Tree patch at Fossil Island, you can proceed with this OSRS Woodcutting guide.
For many, chopping the Teak Trees down for experience is a great way to gain experience in WC; at EHP rates, no less, for the quickest way of levelling Woodcutting to 99 in OSRS. Putting this together with farming, using the seeds (farming), you're gaining experience in two skills at the best rates; a valuable thing to be able to do in this game where time is the only factor for training Woodcutting and Farming. (This means that Teak Trees are the best way to train WC/Farming, as they're the fastest- and the skills which they pertain to are time-gated).
Cutting Teak Trees and Logs used (WC and FM experience at low GP, High XP)
To continue the theme of the previous paragraph, moving from Farming now to these skills, we can begin to look at this type of tree to train other skills.
Though it's not worth it to bank the logs if you're cutting OSRS Teak Trees - They're cheap, and the locations of the trees are too remote, even when close to some sort of bank, to be going on with interrupting your tick cycle and experience per hour rates. Keep this in mind before you attempt to use this method.
Speaking of method, I think this is enough information on the OSRSWiki/Teak Trees Woodcutting, Firemaking, and Farming Article. Hope you enjoyed! - Re-blogs, Follows, Hearts are all appreciated!

Teak Trees OSRS (XP/Experience, GE/Grand Exchange, GP/Gold Pieces)
I will be talking about the Teak Trees found throughout Oldschool Runescape, at the various members-only Woodcutting training areas which has these trees grow (such as Ape Atoll and the Tai Bwo Wannai Enclosure), often with some other trees. But in this post, I will talk about the Teak trees, found near Mahoganies mostly, as these provide the best (EHP) experience rates for WC in OSRS with Teaks cut down using 1.5 or 2 tick methods of chopping. This is the fastest way to achieve 99 WC in Oldschool Runescape, so it's very much worth the read for anyone who does not yet have the Woodcutting Skillcape and its perks or boost, as a quick way of getting one over other methods like Mahogany Trees in OSRS with better experience rates than other methods of training the skill.
Cutting OSRS Teak Trees - Tick Manipulation (how-to)
Chopping a Teak tree with 1.5t or 2 Tick woodcutting grants you Teak logs, and if you have an Infernal Axe it also grants Firemaking experience at the loss of a Teak log and its profits. This method grants 85 experience per Teak log cut, or 440k experience per hour with Tick Manipulation, or 105 Firemaking experience per log burned. This is the EHP method of training Woodcutting, meaning it's the best experience rates in OSRS for WC, though there are easier ways of training at the cost of these xp rates. Not recommended are chopping other trees to train, with Mahogany Trees in OSRS being the exception, as these offer valuable logs which can help the player train Construction later with Benches and Tables. But this is a topic for another post.
Cutting trees is unavoidable for training WC, for obvious reasons. So, for those wishing to level the skill, it's either this or some other tree. Should you wish to train the skill optimally (which is always optional, and your choice based on if you enjoy it or not, or want the quick 99 with EHP rates). Though I do hope to cover other methods of training WC in future posts for those looking to use other trees to level the skill, all for their own specific purpose in-game.
Woodcutting training with Teaks in Oldschool Runescape (Tick Manipulation/AFK)
The main idea to have in mind with Teak trees is that you have to chop them using the high-intensity method of Oldschool Runescape Tick Manipulation
, for the best experience rates. Woodcutting as a skill is not very useful, and its cape doesn't offer useful perks or boosts; the reward for gaining 99 Woodcutting and wearing the cape, chopping logs thereafter, is an increased chance at Bird Nests, which aren't found to be very valuable on the Grand Exchange anymore since their supply is so high- and they can be gathered easily in the Kingdom of Miscellania (Misc Kingdom) for passive nests, over Woodcutting.
This is a great activity to do, and some even call it enjoyable. The cape is nice, too, a great combination of green shades to resemble the trees and logs cut/burned in training WC throughout your journey from 1 to level 99. People choose to train the skill for this very reason, matching the cape with various different outfits they would wear whilst doing other activities.
That should just about be everything you need to know about Woodcutting in Oldschool Runescape, for you to be able to go on and get the OSRS Woodcutting Skillcape from chopping Teak Trees, without falling into the usual pitfall many other players manage to be tricked by whilst using Tick Manipulation, wasting their experience rates for small amount of GP from the Grand Exchange later, in banking the Teak Logs at their chosen location. I do hope you enjoyed, and if you enjoyed this LONG (but hopefully informative) Tumblr post, please give me a follow for more great content I hope to publish in the future! Coming up may be the Woodcutting levelling method of Oldschool Runescape Mahogany Trees and their logs, granting you other benefits over the great experience per hour that are Teaks, with their Logs being used for Construction EHP with Tables or Benches for cheaper than usual. Thanks!

OSRS — MTA: Mage Training Area | Bones to Peaches (B2P) Place | PissGaming
This is what I've decided to do whilst working on an Adobe Portfolio (a free trial! myportfolio) landing site, a powerful and expensive software, for one of the Piss_Gaming articles - to make the MTA more efficient and safe for me:
Re-sort my inventory of runes while prepping for MTA
Stock up for Mage Training Area (runes)
Holding currency in current day OSRS market
So while I'm writing up a landing page for the article/topic,
(MTA) will be AFK'd for passive magic experience, and honestly, a fun and relaxing minigame activity.
This is a topic being revisited internally that I've looked to cover on Piss_Gaming before, in: - 1 "laundering money" - 2 "tax Evasion, but in Oldschool Runescape (where it's legal and so OK to play with!)" - 3 "MTA Runes/Currencies Smuggling". Some of these related content and their child contents are dated back up to five years ago - be their writing, planning, or having the content collected; the majority passes quality standards, albeit some need reworking, and the most recent (which does want extra work put into it first) duo is the MTA runes/currency smuggling file & the Oldschool Runescape currencies piece; and I am happy bring these unpublished works with me.
Perhaps this will also [continue to...] develop into something more in the future. It's an interesting read, how it works with alternate currencies on Oldschool Runescape- and it's likely this will become a related article for one "accounting books/program" - a ledger for Oldschool Runescape banks/merchants, etc.
But for now, I thought this would be an appealing picture & one to create a post about, as the article I'm hinting at is a very strong possibility on the PissGaming.zone website. This aesthetic/sentimental image attached is substatial, as the items in those Grand Exchange offer slots cost me- effectively, for those ones I have been holding a while- zero (GP, etc.).
& this "effective cost" - tax evasion on Oldschool Runescape - OSRS Ledger for banks & merchants - all of the details included, which I have researched extensively, for a long time, throughout a very enjoyable relationship with the subjects.

How The Graceful Set Helps OSRS Smithing Training
The Varrock anvil is the known hotspot for training smithing at an anvil, due to how close it is to a bank for the least amount of experience gain-downtime, and, less energy used as less squares are ran from bank to anvil with an inventory full of heavy metal bars draining energy quicker. If you’ve read past articles, and you know about Runite Bars drops from the Rune Dragon Alt drop table, you might know where this is going– especially after reading https://www.pissgaming.zone/osrs/running-a-rune-dragon-alt-alongside-a-main-account-further-optimizedroadmap-for#GracefulForRunePlatebodies – And you’re probably in the right mindset of optimizing the money making method, too.
Let’s proceed into the article to highlight how the Graceful set helps train Smithing in Oldschool Runescape, now the importance of conserving run energy has been mentioned.
Tumblr media
Reddit.com – Graceful set suggestion, to combine the skilling outfit sets for a cool new (old) look
Running back and forth, to and from the anvil will have any player, even those with 99 Agility who are using the “status quo” Varrock anvil, will find their run energy depleting to 0 in no time at all. Before any kind of experience is gained, or a good amount of items are created, even. This is due to how heavy the bars are, as the Runite in an inventory is still heavy and still plays as a factor of how quickly run energy drains due to how the OSRS mechanics of this works.
Therefore, it’s important to conserve run energy, and Graceful does just that. Also, the full set bonus helps generate run energy quicker, almost as if you were sipping stamina potions (but without the extra inventory space plus the cost of them. How great is that?). It’s a double-dip into countering the drawbacks of Smithing in other ways not using Gold Ore for the “EHP”, and helps make this method a viable way of levelling Smithing to 99 while even drawing a profit, not a loss, which Gold Ores > Bars does not provide.
https://blog.playerauctions.com/runescape/osrs-smithing-guide/
Since you’ll be running from Varrock anvil/blast furnace conveyer bank to a bank with a full inventory of ores, you’ll be very heavy and your energy are going to be drained quickly. This is often why a weight-reducing outfit like graceful is very recommended when training Smithing.
You should also wear ice gloves when using the Blast Furnace to process ores in order that you don’t need to use a bucket of water, which reduces your profit and experienc/hr by a lot. Ice gloves are often obtained by killing the ice queen at White Wolf Mountain.
The White Wolf Mountain may be a natural region within a members-only area. which acts as a mountainous border between Taverley and Catherby, and as a borderline between the kingdoms of Asgarnia and Kandarin. The mountain is notorious for being a dangerous area for low levelled players wishing to visit Kandarin. It also has access to the Ice Queen’s Lair where players can fight the Ice Queen during Heroes’ Quest, for these gloves.
Again, having both the ice gloves and therefore the coal bag is very recommended when doing the furnace  while the Graceful outfit is useful for both methods of training smithing. Not utilizing these tools will decrease your experience rates, and your Oldschool Runescape gameplay, drastically.
Conclusion
I hope this has cleared up the doubts about training Agility before Smithing, for the Graceful set, so players can begin to increase their exp/gp rates per hour while training the skill. If you’d like to read more, scroll to the top of the page for the resources on using this with the Rune Dragons drops for even greater profits from both money making methods; also, before you try to use these methods, check:
The Grand Exchange, with a smaller buy/sell of the resources which will be used. This ensures the prices are up-to-date so you don’t accidentally lose money
Check the OSRSWiki, for up-to-date methods on making money and the input/output of the methods
The reiterate:
The Graceful outfit is useful for both methods of training Smithing. Not using it will decrease the players experience/gold per hour rates and will lead to a downfall in enjoyment of playing OSRS
This article! From HelpfulnesOSRS; Scroll up.
To generate an even greater profit from this money making method, the factor which can be changed are the inputs, with not much room to breathe in the other areas. This is an easy thing to change as Runite Bars can be sourced for free, elsewhere in OSRS without the use of GP to “buy from other players”. If the resource is gathered yourself, you make 100%, pure profit.
Our article on the best way to get Runite Bars, using the RDA Drop table for Smithing covers just this, and will help avoid the GE limits of the items involved to level Smithing while also being a way to get more profit from the Rune Dragon Alt plus being more profit for Smithing on a main account; another double dip! If you’re interested, click the link above and have a read.
This has covered everything related to the skill, so you should be ready to do this yourself in-game. If not, or if you have other related comments about this article, feel free to leave a comment. We love hearing about what you think. Until next time, HelpfullnesOSRS

How To: Get Cheaper/More Items for High Alchemy on OSRS
To gain more profit from High Alchemy on Oldschool Runescape, you must look at factor within the equation can be changed to rethink the calculations of profit in High Alch calculators such as alchmate – which does not take into account a lower price for items, rather the current G.E price; but with the methods detailed in this article you can gain the advantage and make pure profit from magic training via high alch. This is done via the methods detailed in https://helpfulnesosrs.wordpress.com/2021/04/12/smithing-from-rda/ – within the “high alching Rune Dragon Runite item Drops” section
To expand on this throughout the article, I hope to talk about the benefits of using the RDA drop table for your future grinds in training magic. You can also use bracelets to profit that isn’t pure or “100%” gain, but very consentient. It’s a niche method which will always have an honest margin related to the always low-cost revenant bracelets. It’s quite likely to be a value brand way to train magic, but less so than before as content creators have covered the method which cause it to gain popularity. However, HelpfulnesOSRS using a Rune Dragon alt to source Runite drops is likely to be better, but the bracelets method will be covered as a tried-and-tested Oldschool Runescape community verified option. This may recover considering the competition has eliminated tons of individuals who otherwise may roll in the hay trying to make money with this method. Ultimately, there always has got to be a profit here as the worth of the related items would need to return up thanks to natural in game causes or changes (unlikely to happen unless changed). Most importantly, the players always getting these items to sell on the G.E will keep the price stable, for the method to be viable with demand for the item being present from others following this method. Hopefully you discover this handily though, as High Alchemy requires just 55 Magic and technically, additional cash may be more helpful to the player. In such, avoiding this other competition by simply not using this method is recommended, and it won’t be covered further here.
youtube
1.1m per hour money making method with High Alchemy
So, by using Rune Dragon Alt resources, already a 1.3m+ gp/hr method, to transfer alchables onto a main account for casting High Alchemy, as the items you’re using are essentially free, more profit is gained– even more so than those from alchmate or other websites/YouTube tutorials.
And this concludes the article on getting more cheaper/free items to cast High Alchemy for Profit on Oldschool Runescape. This ties in well with, and uses inspiration from, the article here on HelpfulnesOSRS for using RDA drops for more, Smithing and Alchemy which has been linked for extra reading if you’d like to find out more.

Mahogany Logs OSRS & Cutting Planks, Mahogany Trees
For this type of woodcutting training, via the Ape Atoll Area after the Monkey Madness quests have been completed for higher-tiered teleports becoming unlocked— which take you closer to the Woodcutting area for less banking time between trips to and from the OSRS Mahogany Trees area, which increases the amount of logs you cut in the Mahogany Oldschool Runescape tier (60)— your question for the best place to cut Mahogany Trees on OSRS is answered, but can be expanded on further throughout this post.
Where is the best place to cut Mahogany Trees on OSRS
To expand upon this topic and provide alternates, with reputable sources taken from the vast amount of information there is on the OldschoolRunescape.Wiki now linked as where we attained this information on Training Woodcutting, Firemaking, and Construction, at: https://ift.tt/3atlwZ9
These logs can be cut into Mahogany Planks for construction experience using the Plank Make spell, a Demon Butler (within your POH), or as the least optimal and costly method, taking the Mahogany Logs to the OSRS sawmill to be made into planks. Although any method is fine, some are more optimal than others. This remains true for the Woodcutting parts, too; to cut the Mahogany Logs, you must choose the best places in Oldschool Runescape which contain a dense amount of Mahogany Trees to get the most amount of logs per hour.
Generating more logs per hour by Farming Mahogany Trees (OSRS Method)
For those wanting to generate more than 400-500 logs per hour at the conventional Woodcutting spots, the Farming skill may be utilized to increase the amount of logs gained per day, each time the tree patches on Fossil Island have their "health checked". This requires the tree running route to be known to the player, the Mahogany trees planted in the correct spot, the Fossil Island Area for Hardwood trees to grow (bearing in mind the difference between these trees and the Mahogany Pyre logs for farming runs and experience).
If farming is taken advantage of, however, the increase in chopping Mahogany Trees each Oldschool Runescape timed hour is beneficial to the player, if it's their need to have more of them per hour.
So the best place to Chop Mahogany Trees on OSRS is Ape Atoll, and the Jungle training area for Woodcutting (requires trading sticks, not recommended for Ironman accounts; just use Ape Atoll) as it's closer to the bank, and so is the best way, also for banking the OSRS Mahogany Logs — double win for the player going for 60-99 Woodcutting. 400-500 logs per hour can be cut from 60-99 woodcutting in these areas, not a bad money maker although the choice on whether or not to use this method is one the player has to make.
