Sam took a deep breath willing himself to relax. Normally something like this would have been everything he ever wanted. Naked in the shower with a handsome man. However he just felt so tired, and so worn thin, that he just wanted something to hold onto. Since he had been given the option to hold on as long as he wanted he did just that. Only letting go when the water from the shower began to cool.
When he pulled away he lifted his head looking back at Alec with hazel eyes that were like a swirl of brown and green. “Thanks…” he muttered, clearing his throat. More than likely he had been crying but the flowing water managed to wash away the tears. Making them indistinguishable from other water droplets.
Hands began to run up Alec’s arms stopping at his shoulders which he touched affectionately up to the other man’s thick neck. He could feel his warm pulse under his skin. Though even with his heightened senses he could only smell the water. When he leaned his head closer again he nuzzled Alec almost instinctively. “Thank you,” he asserted again, kissing just beneath his ear and over his jaw.
hellxprivateinvestigator‌:
Alec may have heard snippets here or there. About Sam being in the army. How Sam had rejected his family wealth in favor of pursuing his own goals. Parris had hinted at it. A few of the police on the force recognized the blonde when he came around. Familiar with his family’s reputation. He groaned softly when he felt Alec’s nose nuzzling into his pulse. For a moment longer he kept his face hidden in Alec’s shoulder. “Just let me be close… For a little longer,” he said his voice soft but deep. Sam didn’t make a habit of showing his weakness but he’d come to trust Alec. “You always smell good,” he muttered into his skin.”I just need a minute.”
This entire ordeal isn’t something Alec thought would come to past. Yes, there is a deep admiration for the blonde, but for it to go this way, kind of unexpected. There is a thought that came to mind. Sam’s past. He had forgotten he served in war. Much like Alec did, but not any recent ones. No. The ones from years back that people most likely had forgotten by now. All history. The shower room is filled with silence, other than the sound of falling water from the shower head. Both bodies drenched in hot water. “However long yea’ want.” Tomne came out soft, almost a whisper. Alec can relate; the past can be hard to get over, it took Alec years to get over what happened with him. Losing friends, loved ones, watching so many innocent lives being taken because of some war.

"Sign of someone busy at work," Sam smiled, his green eyes warm and bright. He watched the other man make his coffee inhaling deeply at the caramel scent that filled the air. "Are you taking anything special? Can I try?" He asked with a grin and a wiggle of his brows. He always enjoyed getting a chance to try things. Especially a sweet treat or some fresh bread.
When the other man suggested black coffee his nose wrinkled. He didn’t care much for the bitter flavor and tended to mix it with a decent amount of milk and sugar. “If you got something sweet and caramel flavored that’d be perferred. Or just coffee with cream and sugarnworks too,” Sam shrugged, “For here… I feel like I can think here. It has a nice atmosphere,” he looked around the space. “And you still have some on your face,” he unfolded the napkin on the table to offer it to the man taking his order.
At the mention of the caramel flavoring being preferred, it seemed like his eyes lit up more happy then would have been normal- since the flavor was one of his favorites. He grinned happily and began to make the coffee before he mentioned his face still having flour. He paused and took the napkin before he shyly whipped away at the flour. “Thank you” he said, his voice a little meek and embarrassed.

While Jake was in the shower Sam made quick work of cleaning up the mess. He would sometimes glance at the bathroom to make sure that Jake was all right. But otherwise he left him alone so that way he could be with his thoughts. Most of the damage furniture had been moved to one side and Sam took quick stock of what they were left with. He had already started to bring out Jake's tools however he looked at each one as though it was a foreign object. Not being exactly tool savvy he wasn't really sure how to fix any of the salvageable furniture however he wanted to give it a try. Then when Jake stepped out he lifted up a wrench which he was holding on the wrong end. "So I think we can fix the coffee table is this what we use?" He asked almost sheepishly.
hellxprivateinvestigator‌:
Sam pet gently at Jake’s hair hoping to soothe him. His warm green eyes looking over the rapidly healing self inflicted injuries. He also raised a hand to brush his side to Jake’s hair studying his forehead which he recalled the other man slamming into a wall. Of course as the beast probably didn’t bother him as much. Or perhaps he had already recovered. Then when Jake stepped away to go to the bathroom and shower he looked after him. “Let me know if you want someone to wash your back,” he called out with a teasing smile. After stubbornly refusing to leave despite Jake’s wishes, he figured maybe the other man wanted at least a little alone time.
Jake watched Sam’s hand move as it brushed his hair from his face before he looked at the other man. He hadn’t injured himself when he hit his head against the wall, sure it probably had a little bruise but it was recovered by now, the scratches might take some time though, due to what inflicted them. He laughs as Sam calls out to him and he shakes his head a bit, he did want to be alone for a little bit, he’d use the shower for that though and he was in there a while before he came out again, dressing himself and coming back to the room he’d destroyed, he’d have to replace what he’d destroyed, he wasn’t sure if anything would be salvageable.

Jake had a good point, but even while covered in dust and dirt his lean form and inked skin drew Sam’s eyes. The way his nose twitches tells Sam that maybe the other was back to normal. Or at least feeling a little better after letting his anger and frustration out. Even if there was potential danger Sam was glad that he didn’t leave him alone. Jake had already endured so much alone. So hearing those happy purrs brought a wide grin to Sam’s face. “You could use a shower,” he nodded tracing over some of the scratches Jake had left on his own skin where he had torn at his shirt before. Knowing the death beast they would disappear before he was even done with his shower.
Truth be told, after letting out all that anger and frustration that the beast had bottled in, Jake felt so much better, like his entire body had been flooded with a feel good chemical. It was the usual case when he destroyed stuff or did anything that vented negative emotions. He laughs a little at Sam’s comment and he nods in agreement, he looked down to where Sam ran his fingers, the dull sting reminding him that he’d injured himself in his attempts to control an unwarranted shift. “Dammit…” He mutters under his breath, more at himself than Sam, he smiles a little. “Okay, I’m gonna go have a shower and get a new set of clothes…” He states and smiles before he moves to do just that.

When the man stepped out of the back covered in flour Sam couldn’t help the bright smile that spread across his face. His green eyes glittered with amusement, and he gestured to his own nose when he noticed flour there. “You got a little something…” he said gently. “I was hoping to get a cup of coffee if it’s not too late. You didn’t have a sign with hours so I wasn’t sure if you were closed. And um… what are you baking? It smells so good in here.”

The way pink spread across his pale face caused a sly smile to spread over Sam’s lips. By now it seems like Jake had become a little more accustomed to his flirtatious comments. And the way he playfully replied caused the blonde investigator to laugh brightly. “It’s not so much that it bothers me as it distracts me,” Sam added letting his green eyes travel over Jake. As always he found himself admiring scars and tattoos, “But please feel free to be as natural as you’d like.”
The smile remains on Jake’s features, as well as that little shade of pink across his cheeks. His nose twitches and he purrs happily, he chuckles softly at his comment, running his hand through his hair. He shakes his head a bit, “I just figured there was no point in getting dressed whilst I’m covered in plaster dust…” He shrugs his shoulders a bit, he makes a little bit of a noise and he purrs happily again. “I might go shower and then put some pants on…” He murmurs.

It didn't take a genius for Sam to figure out what Alec was doing. His partner was trying to keep him distracted by keeping him busy. And rather than trying to call him out on it Sam simply nodded and stood up to collect the blankets from the bedrooms. The cabin was intended for a small family consisting of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room with a fireplace. Sam's Mustang was parked in the garage thankfully safe from the snow, however it meant that due to the level of the snow they would not be able to drive away.
Thankfully that also meant that the stupid idiot they had followed out into the mountains likely wouldn't be able to run either. Unfortunately it seems like all of them were trapped. When Sam returned with the blankets he spread one of the thick comforters on the rug. He then sat down next to Alec spreading the blanket between the two of them while settling against the brunette's side. Typically he wasn't the touchy-feely sort but for the sake of keeping warm he was willing to be in the other man's space. "There is no way in hell I'm letting you go out into that mess by yourself..." Sam insisted.
Snowed In. || Sam and Alec.
hellxprivateinvestigator‌:
When Alec called out to him, he managed to pull Sam out of his daze. He blinked in the direction of the living room, then looked at the food which he had already separated. “Yea… we should be fine,” he called out, running his long fingers through the messy blonde strands of his hair. After a few long calming breaths he stepped back towards the fire settling down next to Alec with a grunt. “Should be enough for two meals a day, not sure how hungry I am though to be honest,” Sam grumbled.
He was used to going lengths of time without eating. However the cold was something that he didn’t really enjoy. The lights flickered, as the power began to cut out, leaving them in an unpleasant sort of dim light. The clouds outside blocking the sun, while sheets of white began to cover the windows in a rapidly growing layer of snow. The fire provided them with a decent amount of light, and the cabin was well insulated to help keep the warmth from leaking out. “I have mentioned that I’m a city kid right?” Sam joked, having never been the camping type until the Army. And even then he had been rather miserable.
To hear there is enough rations for the both of them came as a relief for Alec. But, there are no plans for the both of them to be staying in the cabin for days let alone a few hours. There needs to be a way to get out. Then again, in this terrible weather; there’s no signs of anyone coming out to rescue them. The only form of travel Alec will have to be doing is in his wolf form, that’ll withstand the cold thanks to the thick coat it has. If worse comes to worse; the next day should be the time Alec should use to go and seek help. The fire right now is keeping them both warm and there is enough firewood for them to use up for a few days or even maybe two days at least.
Just as Alec was going to respond to Sam, the power cuts out. Great. There goes the electricity. The generator must of frozen over. it was about time too. What kind of stupid criminal would be running up in the mountains to get away from the crimes they committed? A stupid one at that. “Great…” He mumbles under his breath. “Don’t worry. Just as long as we don’t panic and keep a straight mind; we should be fine. Fire is goin’ and we have food. If anythin’ I should go look for help tomorrow.” What about sleep? One of them should stay up and patrol for any sign of the storm stopping. “You should probably get every blanket you have and wrap ourselves up. We need to survive a night in here.” Then it’s mission impossible time in the morning.

Sam really couldn't say that he had minded the previous weekend. Primarily because he enjoyed simply being in Clyde's company. It also didn't hurt that they had amazing sex, and that his will to leave the bed had been minimal. However despite how much he had enjoyed the previous weekend Clyde was right.
The blonde wolf needed sunlight and he loved being in the warmth of the Sun especially when he could feel the raise on his wolf fur. When his keys were tossed to him Sam managed to catch it easily. By now it seemed like the two of them moved in sync. Some of which came naturally and some of which had been learned as the two of them had worked together. "Fine," he groaned, agreeing with Clyde's assessment even if he was equally content staying inside.
Tumblr media
It wasn't often that the maid showed any kind of vulnerability. And having seen him like that Sam wanted more than anything just to hold him and protect him. However when Clyde hooked a finger at him Sam was quick to follow. Almost puppyish in his desire to be close to the mage and spend time with him.
To drive to Sam's favorite brunch place was quick and easy. His Mustang rumbling contently as he maneuvered through the streets with a practiced ease. When he parked Sam cooed affectionately at the vehicle, his fingers brushing along the steering wheel has he turned off the engine.
Sam had expected them to leave right away but instead it seemed like Clyde needed some attention. He had learned early on that it the mage had been deprived a certain level of affection. So he offered no resistance when he felt those fingers traced down his abdomen and warm their way under his shirt. Indeed his skin was warm, offering the kind of heat similar to a beam of sunlight trickling through a window.
Underneath his body he was solid, his scarred pink skin taught over well-maintained muscles. Sam’s job meant that he was active, and working out also helped control some of the anxiety he still felt after returning to civilian life. “Well… I try to be warm. I get cold kind of easy,” Sam explained.
When he felt Clyde’s arm slide around his waist he wrapped his arms around the other man’s shoulders. It was a firm hug, the kind he hoped would help reassure Clyde. And show the mage the affection he seemed to need. With his rough cheek pressed against his chest he could hear Sam’s strong steady heartbeat. Sam nuzzled into his dark hair his hands rubbing gently over Clyde’s back as he continued to embrace him. “Are you cold,” Sam asked sounding rather concerned.
Tumblr media
“We don’t have to go out…” They had plenty of food at home to make breakfast. A place to gentle kiss on Clyde’s forehead, tightening his hug just a little more before releasing him again. As long arms still wrapped around Clyde’s shoulders so he did not think he had to pull away.

“Usually right next to me getting in some kind of trouble?” Sam laughed to himself, scrubbing his face for a moment before lowering his arms so Alec could wash his chest. The old scar that tore across he left pectoral was red and angry compared to the rest of his fair skin. His eyes sliding closed as he felt the gentle rubbing of soap against warm skin work away blood that lingered. He had woken up covered in blood, and for at least ten minutes found himself spiraling into a panic attack. His mind pulled back to war, and gun fire. Water washed away the suds leaving behind a glossy sheen to his skin, and Sam stepped a little closer to rest his head on Alec’s shoulder. His own hand reaching to pull the other wolf under the water so they were closer.
Alec has taken note of those scars on Sam’s chest, it wasn’t his place to ask where they came from. Whatever past this man is hiding from or running from; he won’t push for answers. He caught that mysterious side of this man, right from the beginning, doesn’t say much, but when he does speak, it’s a lot of impact. “Usually.” Flashing Sam a smile. Since becoming partners in work; they usually stick together. Getting in all sorts of trouble. It took Alec by surprise to see the blond man rest his head on the wolf’s shoulder. Kind of a random thing, but Alec’s guess is that he’s stressed out, or freaked with his other half. Anyone who isn’t born a werewolf could freak out. Dropping the scrubber, wrapping his arms around Sam’s waist, nuzzling his nose into the nook of Sam’s neck. “You alright there?”

He reached out a hand for a rather large piece of wood Jake had picked up. The death beast seeming to have no trouble with it despite his leaner build. “You need to be careful,” he fussed over him. “And if you’re going to stay naked like that, I’ll never get this done,” he said making it very clear just how pleasantly distracting he found Jake.
Jake looked up at him when he spoke, taking the bit of wood from him, he gives him a small smile and he nods. “I’m trying to be careful.” He says to him, he did kind of figure that Sam was referring to his splinters, which he’d received during his blind destruction. He laughs a little bit at his comment about him being naked, he grins a little, cheeks tinted a little pink. “Well…I can go put some pants on if it really bothers you…” He murmurs playfully, chuckling softly.

Blonde brows furrowed as he wondered just how serious Alec was. The two of them were prone to bantering and flirting, but never while naked. Sam couldn’t help but let his green eyes slide down Alec’s body. He’d wondered about the other man on various occasions, but he’d kept himself from falling in bed with him to preserve their working relationship. “I’m having to come to terms with a lot of things,” Sam sighed, lifting his gaze to meet Alec’s. “You can scrub my whole body if you want. It feels better when you touch me,” Sam admitted feeling himself starting to relax.
Alec had to restrain himself from having to jump Sam’s bones. He’s wanted to have sex with the man for a long time. Today might be the day, but he won’t get his hopes up too much. There is a professional partnership between the two and making things awkward between them isn’t something Alec would want. “If you ever need help with somethin’, you know where to find me.” A serious and a joking comment, but more serious. When given the suggestion, the wolf isn’t going to pass up on the opportunity. Moving, now facing Sam. The body scrubber goes right up against the blond’s chest. Being gentle about it. “Don’t mind if I do then.” There’s something about this body that Sam posses that Alec can’t seem to shake off.

Sam was been collecting some of the pieces of furniture in a bag, as well as torn fabric and the stuffing of the cushion. When he was about half finished he noticed Jake shifting back to his human self. And he paused in his crouched position to just admire Jake’s naked body. Even though he’d had the pleasure of making love to Jake quite a few times he still marveled at him. “Thought I told you to relax,” he teased the other man. Well aware that it wasn’t in Jake’s nature to make Sam clean up the mess he left as a beast.
Jake looked over at him when he spoke and he sighs a little, shaking his head, “I know, but…I can’t expect you to clean all of this up when I’m the one who caused this chaos…” He says to him and he smiles, he rubbed the back of his neck, Jake had a few splinters and things he’d probably have to take care of soon, but he wasn’t really paying them a lot of mind right them. He rumbles a little and huffs at the other man playfully, “I’ll be alright.”

When Alec laughed Sam couldn’t help but grin, his green eyes brightening at the suggestion. He figured the other wolf was teasing him, as Alec was often prone to doing. “You get me a big blue diamond like the one in the movie and I’ll even have sex with you in my car,” Sam said playing along with the previously mentioned movie. “And I don’t even want to think about what I ate,” Sam groaned. He already hated the thought of eating meat, much less the thought of what kind of unfortunate creature he’d killed.
Another chuckle coming from the wolf. “Is hat all? Then I guess it shouldn’ be too hard to find one.” Grinning wider this time, joking with Sam, but the temptation of having sex with him is all too great. There have been some nights Alec has thought about having sex with the man. “Guess that throws the whole vegan thing out the door, huh? I wouldn’ be too ashamed of it. You’ll… Eventually comes to terms with it.” If there was a cure to rid the man of the curse of being a werewolf; you bet Alec would go look for it. “You want me to scrub you anywhere else?”

“I almost feel like I’d rather not know,” Sam muttered, arching his back when he felt the other begin to help clean his skin. For a long moment he just let the other touch him, but when he felt Alec staring he blinked at him over his shoulder. A snug grin spread over his lips when he saw the way Alec was studying him. Less focused on his scar and instead more interested in his naked body. “You should take a picture it’ll last longer,” he snarked at him holding his hand out for the soap so he could keep cleaning himself.
Snapped out of his daze, cheeks flushing a faint red, but a grin followed quickly. Yes, Alec is admiring Sam’s naked form. Could you blame him? He hasa thing for the guy for a while now. Kind of dangerous now that Alec thought about it. “Or maybe I should paint you like on of my French Girls?” Laughing softly to himself, working on Sam’s body. “I think of the same thing. Not wanting to know what I’m doing while shifted, but hey, at least you know you got a good meal out there. Pretty rare in the city.”
