The blue fish he was watching emerges from its hiding spot and swims closer to the tall glass of the aquarium, as Shouto hears some sort of rustling next to him. This time he doesn’t jump in fright. “What, not gonna jump and scream?” Touya mocks. “Getting used to it, I suppose.” The silence sits heavy between them, as neither of them really knows what to say until Touya breaks it. “That’s funny,” he scoffs. “I used to come here too, a long time ago.”

Or, Touya and Shouto get one last chance to bond. It’s a little bittersweet, but it’s what they needed.
