Hi! I’m your local death positive blogger, here to remind you that information about your social media profiles and online presence should be included in your death planning!
Do you want your accounts closed down? Do you want a final message about your death posted for your followers? Do you want your profiles preserved or memorialized in some way? Are there websites you have subscriptions to that will need to be cancelled? Do you have income from websites like Patreon that will need to be sorted out?
When preparing for death, don’t forget your digital life, too.

Because Egyptian iconography is not directly representational, other forms of snakes were also depicted as spitting fire, such as "Big and Fiery", a python type snake who perpetually burns the enemies of the sun god in the ninth hour of the Book of Gates,
Horus himself commands the serpent: "Open your mouth, expose your jaws, that you spit fire on the enemies of my father! That you burn their corpses and cook their souls with the burning breath of your mouth, with the embers in your body."

“The Egyptians had an intensely personal relationship with their gods whom they constantly approached with prayer, offerings, and requests for assistance. The deities were beneficent, sympathetic, and often responsive to the pleas of their devotees… Gods were revered, but they were also seen in practical terms as patient problem solvers and mediators who could be counted on for help as long as they were revered, maintained by offerings, and shown proper respect through prayer and veneration.”

Tiny (weird) witchy thing:
If you venerate/work with a god who governs over knowledge, wisdom, or study; dedicate your next Wikipedia binge to them, talk to them about your special interest, or see how their domain may intersect. The pursuit of knowledge in any its forms can be an act of worship.

Seriously.
Go out to the woods sometime. Find a big tree, the biggest you can.
Go up to that tree, lay a hand on it, and ask it about what it feels, about how it feels about having won its place. Ask it how it feels about having smothered and shaded out a hundred smaller enemies, and then feasted on their rotting corpses. And that huge ancient oak tree will tell you how sweet triumph tastes, and how death pays for life.
Then find one of the struggling little scraggly trees under that oak, and ask it what it feels, and it will tell you of patience, of endurance, and of how sweet will the bones of the giant taste when the giant falls at last, and gives the sapling its chance.
Plants understand more of triumph, of death, and of how death and life are but two sides of the same coin than most humans ever will.

The Creative Tarot
I recently finished reading this book and I highly recommend it! I didn’t know what to expect when I rented it from my local library but now I’m seriously considering buying it.
It walks through all of the tarot cards and focuses specially on their potential meaning in relation to creativity/art/writing which is an angle I haven’t seen elsewhere. A ton of examples are given of the energy of the cards in existing art. Something else I found helpful was that the sample spreads came with sample readings. That made it easier to see how to read the cards together. Overall it was an easy and enjoyable read.
If you’re a creative looking to use tarot for divination or inspiration I recommend checking it out.

havent believe were still out here having to take shit from nonkemetics trying to insist us hating a/p/e/p sympathizers is the same as christians hating satanists
i understand its easy to make the comparison because of how both Satan and a/p/e/p are both “devil” figures and weve seen how the infernal has been villainized despite its complex nature of its Millions of interpretation, but we all have to understand that kemeticism and christianity are two completely different narratives. they are on completely different axis. they have two completely different cultures, practices, believes, etc, etc.
christianity has countless literatures to chose from, all framing Satan in countless ways. many you could compare to how we view a/p/e/p, yes, but not all. from the very beginning Hes is a very dynamic character. He is the Accuser, the Rebel, the Fallen Angel. these are all titles you can think of as good or bad, all depending on how you think of god and what Satans true mission is. theres room to find Him a liberator against gods tyranny (because, imo, the bible is so much more about following gods will than actually doing Good) and theres room to find Him the source of all evil. and when you span that over the many cultures and centuries and versions of christianity out there, Satan is malleable enough to shift from being the villain to the hero.
we, however, absolutely do not have this with a/p/e/p. as far as i know there has been absolutely zero historical record of s/nake sympathy before kemeticisms modern revival. and, unlike with christianity, kemeticism isnt centered around the will of a perfect god, but that of Ma’at, or justice. time and time again a/p/e/p has solidly fit one role, one dynamic, and that is to destroy Ma’at, cause existence to crumble apart, and return us to nothingness. when we hate a/p/e/p, its not because its intruding on the wills of our gods, its because it fucks up Ma’at. it seeks to destroy the very concept of goodness that keeps this reality we live in together. it does not seek power or respect or freedom like Satan does. it only wishes spread isfet until it rots our hearts and home away to a hopeless and empty nonexistence so we cannot enjoy the beautiful world weve already worked so hard to build.
you also have to consider that a/p/e/p largely isnt even a thinking, complex being at all, but really just isfet, or injustice and nonexistence, given a face. it doesnt really have much personhood, its an all devouring machine. thats how i think it was historically, but i suppose whether its even capable of the complexity of any real thought besides Destroy Hate Rot is up to interpretation.
with “devil” figures, its extremely important to think about who or what exactly it is theyre fighting against. with Satan, its gods will, which youre free to interpret in any way you want. but with a/p/e/p, its Ma’at. the fundamental force in this world keeping it growing and loving and righteous. if a/p/e/p was directly against the gods themselves, i supposed you could argue that maybe They were actually the bad guys and it the good guy, but no, a/p/e/p fights directly against justice and creation. and thats why hating a/p/e/p sympathizers is in no way the same as hating satanists.
and yes im both a satanist And a kemetic so i kinda know what im talking about, but you dont have to take this as doctrine im no scholar. also nonkemetics please dont clown on my post

Heru-Wer: He of the Two Horizons
As one of the oldest gods in Ancient Egypt, Heru-Wer–or Horus the Elder–is a sky god of protection. He of the Two Horizons, Harakhti, god of the east and rising sun. He soars in the sky, protecting his devotees with an iron wing!

Your art isn’t just good it’s great! It fits the goddess beautifully.

Tried doodling Hathor during a boring grants training at work. I'm super shy about sharing my art because I don't think it's very good, but I'm trying to draw more this year and to get over that fear by posting it anyway. So dua Hetheru!
