the original intent of the rewrite was to keep the structure as similar as possible to avoid making people reread. this worked great in act 1, not so much in act 2 and as i'm trying to plan ahead.....

Hello! first found the fic a few months ago but suddently remembered about it and reread it ( for like the 3rd or 4th time lol ) and i still absolutely LOVE it. It's one of my fav dst fic 10/10

Just wanted maybe an update ? ( discontinued or not, still in the work, ect.. ) thank you sm if you answer <3

The rewrite/edit is (slowly) in the works. Once that's done, chapters will be replaced with the new versions, which doesn't change any plot but includes some details and is generally more up to what I would consider current standard for myself (also, some continuity issues are fixed, Maxwell actually is sad about losing his twin brother, etc)

From there I have an outline for the rest of the fic. It's a long time coming but I refuse to give up on it entirely. COVID messed with my sense of time; it still feels like i just started rewriting (i started a year and a half ago) and like it hasn't been that long since an update (it has).

It’s terribly helpful. I swear on my life this fic is not abandoned, I’m very pleased with how the edits are going; my writing has vastly improved since 2017 and now I can put in some foreshadowing for things that were last minute additions like Winona’s existence! (That’s how old this fic is jfc her arrival was literally when Winona was added to the game). It is my perpetual project. There are notes. It will return.

still editing chapter 10. chapter 10 is proving the hardest chapter to edit. i’ve edited several chapters since chapter 10 without making much progress on 10 itself.

Hullooo! Just wanted to say I found this fic and really am enjoying it so far i love it so much !! Abigail would probably find the prospect weird enough to avoid it except in the most extreme of circumstances;

"Hey webber we're--stop screaming its just me--we're being attacked by ninjas and they want you downstairs"
