Phase or Reality?

Gender confusion is a part of growing up and for me, it is the hardest stage. You’ll have so many questions that only you can answer. There would also be a point where you’ll be terrified that you keep everything to yourself.

A few days ago, I wrote a short story about this topic and somehow I got attached to it. I guess, there were a few parts that I could relate to the character I created, one of which is the feeling of being lost and just wanting to find yourself. The most difficult part about this is not knowing if you’re still experimenting or if that is already who you are. You want to let the world know who you are but you can’t because there is a lot at stake. You’re afraid that maybe you’re making all these things up. You’re afraid because it might change who you are. You’re afraid to see how the people around you would react.

To get the answer to your question you need to conquer your fear and accept change. See how that change builds you. If it makes you glow and complete, that is your reality; that is who you are but if it you feel empty turn back from that road and start a new journey until you find who you are.
