💙 BLUE HEART - do they miss their s/o easily? how do they act when their s/o isn't around?
Hi Nonny! Thanks for the question, here's a scale of who misses the easiest and quickest to who misses the least;
•Kai, not only because they're so used to having Crown around, but because even when they're not, they take care of business for Crown's benefit, so on the rare occasions when either of them is absent, they feel them more keenly.
I wouldn't say the distance makes them bitter, not necessarily, but anyone of the multiple people they have to deal with could attest that their smiles seem more rehearsed than genuine, they become more taciturn and become even more engrossed in their work, to the point that if someone with enough authority doesn't force them to stop they're going to keep going until they collapse.
•Anyone unlucky enough to have met Azzy in the five years they were separated from Crown risks whiplash from how different they are when they have them around. Although Azzy are quite nostalgic when they miss Crown, before and after the reunion.
Now, Azzy can be difficult even at times when they are or know they will be able to be with Crown soon, when they are not, they are very, very moody and make it everyone's problem.
•Ely and ??? are quite more laid back about it, Ely because they have many ways to entertain themselves in the meantime and when they meet again they can tell Crown everything they were doing in their absences and if the occasion arises also gossip, why not, and as for ???, they are quite used to not having Crown around so it doesn't really affect them much, they keep themselves busy with the million plans and schemes they are involved in.
As a side note I would say that Ely is the type that the most mundane things make them think of Crown and bring them into the conversation just because they like to talk about them so much.
•And lastly SR, simply because they are extremely complicated, they hate the idea of being away from Crown more because of the sense that it hurts their ego than because of notions of who Crown is or how they feel about them, but if they were both alone and together it wouldn't be long before their ideas of biting them in the jugular would become reality.

Hi again, I was the one to send the ask about grammar errors. I'm not trying to invalidate how you feel, but rather than be embarrassed, I think it's impressive how well you handle the language despite not being a native speaker! ✨
It happens to everyone, and I think non-native speakers tend to be harder on themselves in this regard. I know I am, and English isn't my first language either, but it gets better with practice. You also have to account for what your first language is and what, if any, other languages you know, because that will also affect how easily other languages come to you.
You are so right, Nonny, thank you for the nice words and despite the embarrassment of having my mistakes pointed out to me,(I am easy to embarrass, don't mind me) it is undeniably a necessary part of being able to improve then, yes, no big deal.

Hi! I'm looking forward to this so much, but I noticed a few grammar errors in the intro post that I'll send here, but let me know if you have another preferred way to receive them!
Judging based on your writing I do think you're aware of this, but you might have written the descriptions gendered at first and later changed it? I'll leave a few examples below just in case.
When using they/them/theirs as pronouns of a singular person, it's different from she/her/hers and he/him/his. If you can use "she" or "he" you can exchange it for "they" but don't put "s" at the end of verbs (e.g., "he walks" would be "they walk"); "her" and "him" can be either "them" or "their" (e.g., "talk to her" would be "talk to them", whilst "her mother" would be "their mother".)
The one who left (RO): Asterion/Astrya Dellamort
"they possesses an astonishingly delicate and pretty face" = they possess "the nickname with which you baptized their" = them
"that bothers they deeply" = them "because as the only son of Queen, Azzy they was much more exposed" = (shouldn't it be child?); the Queen; Azzy or they were (e.g., "because as the only child of the Queen, they were much more exposed" or "[...] Azzy was much more exposed") "who knows they the most" = them "being a witness to they gentleness" = their
"they despises and belittles" = despise and belittle
The one who takes care of you (RO): Kaihlan/Karonthe Agrapolli
"they has" = have
"their minds" = mind
"they is" = are
"they to behave" = them
Feel free not to respond to this since it was just in regards to a few errors! I'm looking forward to playing the demo when it comes out!
How embarrassing. It's fixed now. Thanks so much Nonny! I don't think I had mentioned it until now, but I'm not a native speaker so between translation errors/my own ignorance/things I inadvertently overlook there can be errors that get in the way of reading.
If it happens again in the future feel free to let me know so I can fix it, please!

Can you elaborate on the history of Ehyla and the significance of the Emperor’s reforms? What led to the current state of the empire?
Okay, first of all, thanks for the question Nonny! This is probably going to be the longest answer so far since someone had an excellent idea to make Aestheria (which is the shortened name of the empire) the oldest and most extensive sovereign territory of the four continents, therefore I will make a small summary of the most recent events that may affect directly or indirectly in little or great extent what happened in the game, what is not mentioned here is of little importance/spoiler. Without further ado, we begin;
•150 B.R. (Before the reunification) In an unprecedented unanimous vote, The Judges (the old and fallen into disuse name of the current Supreme Council of the Emperor) signed a motion in favor of depatriating all those mairuce along with those who would demonstrate the talents that carry their blood because of the unsustainable monetary and human costs that the constant attacks of both sides caused.
•142 B.R.: Faced with the generalized and well known discontent of the people, harsher measures are imposed, anyone who lodges, helps, disguises or protects a mairuce may suffer punishments ranging from arrests to deportations. All property previously belonging to a mairuce that for whatever reason could not be transported by them will automatically be inherited by their closest non-mairuce relative, if there is none, the property will be expropriated.
•137 B.R.: The foreign debt exceeded in numbers the scarce and scattered remaining population, the birth rate plummeted, those who were not directly exiled left accompanying their loved ones or deported by offering a helping hand to the persecuted population, almost no small-medium enterprises could survive and ended in bankruptcy. Meanwhile, a young non-commissioned officer was gaining allies and followers, whispering ideas of revolution in the awareness that he was risking much more than his life.
•135 B.R The coup d'état led by Eskos the Damned occurred. It was successful.
•135 B.R to 109 B.R.:The infamous decades occur.
Few people survive the sparsely documented period commonly known with little exaggeration as the darkest time in modern Aesthyran history, and even fewer are willing to relive the horrors by talking about it, with nearly all records lost or intentionally destroyed, reluctant word of mouth is practically the only thing keeping the blood spilled by the work and inaction of The Judges from being forgotten.
Aestheria needs to remember.
On the fifteenth day of the frost season of 108 B.R., Airlar the Relentless assumes power, ushering in the end of an era.
From 107 B.R. to 0 A.R. there were so many reforms and changes in the empire that it might as well be another one.
Airlar was very, very busy so I have to make a summary of the summary because basically he did a superficial analysis of the empire and said "ok, what if we do exactly the same thing we've been doing since Clyon was just a zephyr but completely backwards?" And it worked. So, he opened the borders and customs, solved the foreign debt, lowered taxes, did a thorough and exhaustive cleaning by hunting corrupt officials, invested in public works and most importantly, at least for the plot, reinstated the legal autonomy of the mairuce, because Eskos noticed that at the rate things were going he would soon run out of people to rule over he lifted the ban on the permanence of the mairuce in the empire's territories and affiliations, but, only as property, clearly it was not announced that way, but on paper, from properties to important decisions pertaining to health and identity itself, everything had to go through a process of prior approval by an agent of the state in charge, plus they lived segregated and the few non-hostile interactions the mairuce got to have was only with other mairuce.
Airlar gave them back their autonomy and slowly but efficiently achieved a less heterogeneous society, obviously he did not do it out of the goodness of his heart, the mairuce are excellent sources of income in any circumstance, even more so in a bankrupt country.
If anyone is interested I could explain how in the world of HITC very little works without some magic intervention, but and how it is indistinguishable and inseparable from what we know as science, plus the mairuce can modify the lifespan of a human, that's how Airlar went through the whole reintegration process and is still (semi) alive and quite competent.
#interactive fiction#HITC Lore#Airlar the unifier#Man is crazy#Bro really saw the pile of flaming shit that was the empire at the time and said “yes this is what I'm going to dedicate my life to”.#Dude#get a hobby or something.#Anyways#If you see something weird/badly written it's because I'm sleepy and my brain is broken from remembering all the things Airlar has done#so no#you didn't see it.#sammy responds#Heavyisthecrownif

Do ROs have romantic experience? And what about the sexual experience?
Hello Nonny! Thanks for the question, well, basically;
Kai, Azzy and ??? have no experience in any
The Secret Route have more sexual than romantic experience but they might as well have never dealt with a person for how they behave.
Regarding Ely well... it's spoiler 🫢

Hi! Very random question, but for the beastskins, will we be able to pick the animal? Cause even if the MC is only half whatever being we chose, I assume different animal beastskins would result in different appeareances?
Also, if we get to pick, is the seal (or seal adjascent animals) an option? Cause I need more selkie characters in fiction! And if we get to pick but seals are not an option, what are the animals you're planning to include?
Hi! Thanks for the question.
It's not exactly the question but it serves me to explain a bit of how the beastkin work that I didn't know where to put in the demo.
Instead of choosing a specific animal, the beastkin can transform or "borrow" abilities from animal families, that is, taking as an example the first type of beastkin that will be present in the game, Crown is not limited to only be a coyotekin or wolfkin but they would be a caninkin, that is, it can be any of the animals within the animal family, whether wolves, coyotes, foxes, dingoes, jackals or even tanukis.
I hope it's understood but if not let me know and I'll clarify it better!
And of course I will add selkies in future updates, along with bearkin and maybe mustelids, I don't know, it's a possibility.
Also, I think it's important to mention that no matter what bloodline you choose for your Crown, they usually looks like a normal human being for the most part, the notion of their mixed bloodline is more of an intangible thing than a physical thing, under normal circumstances.

Poor MC if they are an introvert who doesn't like attention :<
You are so right, Nonny!
As an introvert who doesn't like attention myself I can guarantee I won't be too mean to Crown, the crowds will be a bit hard to dodge because they are part of life but you can expect interactions not vital to the plot to be optional, I don't recommend it, but the option is there.

Will Crowns birth be brought up in game ? If not could we have a short of that day ? I want to know more about baby Crown 🥹 baby A is cute too ❤️
Another question, how old were they when they were introduced ? And why is Crowns mom referred to as “Her Holiness” ?
I have good news for you, Nonny! In fact the first scene of the epilogue is of Crown's birth, so there will be quite a bit of baby Crown and baby Azzy as we watch them grow, mini Kai arrives a bit later.
When they met Crown was something like three or four years old and Azzy was between four and five.
Now for the question that requires the longer answer, as there are actually two reasons, one for convenience within the blog and one under HITC logic;
Because the name of Crown's mother depends on which bloodline you choose for her and Crown arguably does not have a single "canon" name so, for practical purposes and so as not to limit myself to only being able to refer to her as "queen" I gave her another title.
Now, despite the fact that in the blog calling her "Her Holiness" is a mere matter of convenience, there is a reason in the game why she is called that way, it is mentioned that Sasha's ascension to king was due to his merits in the war against the fae, what is not mentioned, at least officially, is that Crown's mother was a fundamental part in the victory of the empire.
But if so, why not simply Her Majesty instead of Her Holiness? Again, two reasons, the first is that despite Airlar's reforms a mairuce, and especially one born in another homeland cannot officially hold the title of Queen, on paper she is only the King's wife, but not his equal, and the second is that once a mairuce can gain status and even titles, and Crown's mother is a full-fledged prodigy, so the reason for her title is 50% her own merit and 50% a compensation because she is not allowed to use the title that corresponds to her when talking about her.

Can you give us specifics on the bloodlines we can choose for crown ? And will crowns mother’s side of the family pop up in story ?
Hi Nonny, thanks for the question!
Unfortunately I can't give details about the bloodlines without falling into spoilers but regarding the maternal side of Crown's family, they will indeed appear and may become moderately relevant to the plot depending on your decisions.

Siren… as in mythology - "human upper bodies and bird legs, with or without wings" ??
Mermaid, that's simple. Shapeshifter... werewolves etc. right?
Beastkin... 🤔
Naga. I've never heard that word before O.o
Hello Nonny! Thanks for the question, let's see if I can clear up some of your confusion:
HITC sirens are not half bird, haha, they have the wings and a couple of the behaviors but not much else.
The shapeshifters are more like skinwalkers or nahuals than werewolves.
Beastkin are actually the closest thing to werewolves but they're called that because they can not only fully/partially transform into wolves, it's an umbrella term let's say.
Naga are minor demigods of Hindu mythology and are depicted as large snakes/half-serpent people.
It should be clarified that these are all descriptions for "purebred" Crown's father is human so that changes things 🤭

Do you answer NSFW asks? Do you have any rules about it?
Hello, Nonny! Thank you for your question.
Yes, I do answer NSFW questions, there are a couple of things I don't like to write about but I think it's pretty typical, things like scat, pissing, cheating, age play and noncon.
I guess you could say I don't have many rules about it except that be mildly specific, for example instead of "what is Kai like in the bedroom" something more like "what would F!Kai be like with a bratty F!Crown ", basically because I understand the instructions better if they are not so broad.

What was As first impression of Crown ? Was there ever talk between families about a betrothal with A and MC ?
Ohhh, I think that's the first question from a specific RO, how nice! Thanks, Nonny.
The first impression, stripping away many details and leaving it vague because of how different Crown's choices may be goes something like this:
"Why do they look like that?" Asterion/Astrya asks their mother aloud, pointing to Crown with that disinterest in decorum so characteristic of their age.
"A! Pointing is rude" Scolds the Queen of Maralaih, turning to look at the King and Queen of Castelaria "My apologies, Your Majesty, Your Holiness, they have been in a complicated mood due to travel and the change in weather."
The King laughed openly and uninhibitedly in that characteristic manner of his "How very formal Vathrina, aren't we good friends?"
With a more subtle smile the Queen downplayed the matter with a fluid and airy wave of her hand "No hard feelings Vathrina, only The Watcher knows how difficult Crown can be when them are in a bad mood."
Before she could give any response, Vathrina felt a gentle tug on her flared sleeve, looking down she saw her child pouting, clearly unsatisfied that their curiosity was not satisfied.
Crouching down to them full height the Queen encouraged "Why don't you ask them yourself?" Giving them a verbal nudge in the direction of the other infant.
A pursed their lips with a reluctant expression, but nodded noting that for some reason their mother seemed genuinely interested in they going to socialize with Crown.
✧
"What did you think of Sasha and Her Holiness's child?" Asks Vathrina as she walks hand in hand with her child through the acclaimed floating gardens of Castelaria.
"They're weird" They said so succinctly that the Queen couldn't help a small chuckle at A's frankness, noticing the undisguised smile on their mother's lips they added "But they're not that bad, if...if we have to come again I wouldn't mind having to talk to them" They say averting their gaze, as if so they could hide from their mother of all people that something about the youngest child of the Queen and King of Castelaria had somehow managed to capture their attention.
Regarding the second question, yes and no, there were mentions of a possible future engagement between Azzy and Crown but it was always in the form of a joke, usually coming from Crown's father, because although it would be very beneficial to carry out such a union both Crown's parents and Azzy's mother have the philosophy that their children have to choose if and with whom they want to be married.

What are the magic bloodlines?
Ohhh, I was waiting for this question, thanks Nonny!
Well, not exactly the question but it serves to give a little more context on how magic works in HITC.
It is mentioned that Crown's mother is a foreigner and also a mairuce (which is an umbrella term for all creatures born with even the slightest degree of inherent magic, for humans and other sapient beings who later learn to manipulate any arcane art another term is used), which modifies certain physical traits of her and Crown, gives them abilities, both physical and magical, unique depending on the type, social biases and disadvantages.
So far there are five bloodlines that Crown can have, in the game they are called differently but to make you understand what I mean we will tell them as follows: siren, mermaid, shapeshifter, beastkin and naga, obviously there are more in HITC and in future updates may add more, so if anyone has an idea feel free to comment!
