Two Howl (and Calcifer) papercrafts! I've made Howl a number of times now, and I approach him a little differently every time to try to get better and faster. What's the most efficient work process? What's the most harmonious pattern combination? Will I ever stop forgetting the tiny teardrop jewels on his necklace and earring and having to go back in at the last second to add them?? (no)
But he's always so much fun to make! The movie is gorgeous and the book is a longtime favorite of mine, so whenever I make him I have a lovely time putting on the HMC soundtrack and working steadily until I have a tiny, beautifully patterned wizard in my hands. (Or two tiny beautifully patterned wizards, in this case.)
