Maybe you’ve seen the “Super Blue Blood Moon Eclipse” challenge initiated by marionette-j2x and atomicmangomom. I personally really enjoyed looking at all the different designs and artstyles that the participants used and was a little surprised that it’s already over.

Anyway, I wanted to practice poses and thought it would be more interesting to use the designs from this challenge. And it was SUPER fun! By drawing those other artists’ designs I could actually realise how much detail they put in their creation. I hope I could do them some justice. These are 8 out of 18 designs, maybe I’ll draw some more (they are all great!)

So, yeah, all the credit for the dress designs go to respective artists. See the link above for their originals.

Hey Guys! So me and @atomicmangos decided to make a challenge based on the event that happened yesterday:

“The Super Blue Blood Moon Eclipse!!!”

The challenge is that: the person that’s tagged, has to design a dress with the use of the color palletes inspired by the Blood Moon Dress (ex: red, orange, pink, cream hues, etc.)

A little friend to Luna

It is based on alebrijes, typical figures of Mexican folklore, the alebrijes are also protectors and guides.

This little guy is a Snavita and his name is Nebly.

Your work is cute but isn't a big deal tbh:/ and maybe you have to take the advice of the racist anon (I don't support her/his opinion about mexicans but he's kinda right) Cressie is an amazing character, the best of the whole fandom tbh Luna needs a real personality and who tell you Tomckie is a good ship?! Also Sam's design is just a taller Tom with Jackie's hair, be more original girl.

If you don’t like it you can make your own altern universe with a starco child with Cressie personality and kids of the ship you like, I feel really well with mine as the way it is. About Sam, his design isn’t original by me; The original concept belongs to @nikokoro and I love it btw :>

Considering you're Mexican, Luna should not be more "mexican"? Luna is too shy isn't? maybe she should be more energetic like Cressie, she really looks like a real mexican! It's just an advice. I love your artwork :)

Not all mexicans are “energetic”, we’re multi-emotional as anyone else.

I love my culture but I don’t want to turn Luna into a mexican stereotype considering that Marco is only half Mexican (well marco can considered Texmex, not Mexican) and the only genuinely mexican is Rafael, Luna is only ¼ Mexican so there’s no reason to make her more “mexican”

(Which also hit very close tonhome when young moon appeared), Luna is just as amazing and people are free to ship what they want. Don't like, don't stay.
