Awright!!!

The weekend was most definitely a success.  While we didn't sell too much of our stuff, we certainly got a few more followers  and met a wonderful group of people!

First, of course, came the set up.  It was pretty fast and people seemed to like the display :)

We had original art prints, jewellery, skirts, and some old manga to sell.  We also had our brand new business cards (which got a lot of attention!   A couple of tables away I saw a tall skinny person in a blue wig and thought of Kuu and Sam from Bulletproof.  :'(  So sad they couldn't make it to Akimatsuri this year.  Hopefully we will get to see them at other cons!

We did however get to meet a wonderful array of people.  Our neighbours were particularly awesome in their art and in sharing their delicious candies :D  Feel free to look up their stuff on Deviant Art and Tumblr:

Overall we had a blast, even though we had to cop out early as some of us weren't feeling 100%.  Next time, we'll be well rested and ready.  Looking forward to seeing everyone at the next con!

Yoyo! This weekend--Saturday November 30--Haute Geek will have a table for Anime Evolution's Akimatsuri Event. The event will be at Magee Secondary School between 10:00 a.m. And 6:00 p.m. If you are attending stop by our table and check out our stuff, pick-up that something you couldn't get at AR2013 or just come and say "Hi." We look forward to seeing everyone :)

FINALLY, we can get one of our photoshoots posted! This album features 1 fandom and 1 original print skirt. The fandom is Batman being worn by Sarah Kulyk while the Pixel Heart skirt is worn by Jessica Ng! These skirts debuted at the Anime Revolution 2013 convention and will soon be available for order on our Storenvy.  Photos were taken by Geekette Candice Lee with much help from Maxim Ku and Katie Ho!
