I ended my fast a bit early today at about 68 hours. I didn't really prepare my body the way I should've so I was having a hard time, but just under three days isn't bad so I don't feel like I failed or anything. I found this in an extended fasting group I'm in on fb so I'm gonna try this for a bit and see how it goes. I'll start with the Thursday fasting tomorrow evening.

Ok I had 50 calories worth of protein to keep myself going and everything I've read about fasting says about 50 calories won't break a fast so I'm in the clear. I already feel so much better. I'm saving the other part of the protein bar in case I need more tomorrow.

Ok guys I'm down 2.6lbs from yesterday, bringing my total for the week to about 6lbs. I'm also officially past the halfway point for my fast, so just 2.5 days left. If I'm being honest I'm feeling so crappy today and kinda weak, so I might find something with protein around 100cals to break my fast with midday today and then immediately restart but we will see. If I continue this trajectory I will be so close to my first gw by the end of July.

I almost caved. I'm feeling weak so I almost convinced myself I needed something sweet. But I looked at that small cookie and thought how I'd be done in two bites and I'd have ingested 150 calories and I'd regret it immediately and I put it down. What I need is a long night of sleep. If I'm still feeling weak like this tomorrow I'll break my fast with something small and then restart. I've done fasts twice as long as this one with zero issues so I shouldn't be this tired already.
