I'm not so attached to AWL characters because I've only seen them in DS Cute (only went for the FoMT characters or Skye and Leia though), but the second I saw the redesigns of these two I immediately fell in love with them lol

I don't think I'll make more AWL drawings, maybe just one or two more idk, but I do want to draw some more FoMT stuff if I have time, since I'm playing the remake again and all.

once had the idea to draw all the harvest moon protagonists, mistakingly thinking there couldn’t be that many of them as there’s a lot of repeat… oh, was i wrong!

stayed as close to their original designs as possible, there’s just less blondes, more freckles and more skintones

some daughter designs for the awl girls! i tried to keep elements of their mother in their designs while trying not to feel too samey and giving them their own personalities separate from the sons.

i think celia’s daughter would be extroverted and energetic, always getting stuck into things & with a love for the outdoors - the quintessential harvest moon kid. muffys daughter is exuberant, spoiled and offbeat, often exasperating people around her by saying strange things. she loves cute things but has a weird definition of cute, she has a latent artistic side. nami’s daughter is a withdrawn daydreamer prone to acting out & emotional outbursts (undiagnosed autistic girl experience wheee). doesn’t talk much even to her parents, often wanders off into the woods for hours on end… you get it
