“Intro”ish (not so important bUT important)

Hey everyone! My name is Julia and this is like my millionth Tumblr account I have created. Okay, maybe not the millionth but like my 4th account I’ve gone through. I never thought in the year of 2020 I would be making a 1D/Harry stan account on Tumblr. You’re probably wondering why I’m writing this, welp it’s because for the past couple of accounts I’ve had my first post was something dumb like this. I would try to make it short and sweet but it would turn into a wholeass essay but not so essay if that makes any sense haha anyways, I’m 21 years old and live ON (not “in”, it’s “on”) Long Island in New York. It’s about an hour east of New York City if you have never heard of it. I’m in my 3rd year of college and I have no idea how many more years I have to go and I’m currently majoring in Liberal Arts at a community college but next semester I plan on transferring to a 4 year university on Long Island and majoring in Visual Communications. For the longest time I never knew what I wanted to major in, I felt lost for awhile but this semester was the semester where I realized what I wanted to do! I’ve been a One Direction fan since late 2013 early 2014 and like most people I left the fandom around the time 1D took their hiatus bUT I still would keep up with them and their solo careers here and there whenever they popped up on my TL on Twitter. Harry was my favorite in 1D and still is my favorite til this day. I’ve had stan accounts on twitter, instagram and on tumblr in the past. Fast forward to the year 2020 (today) here I am... again... making new stan accounts about 1D/Harry on those same social media platforms. Like most people I fell back into my One Direction phase during quarantine. Before quarantine, I kind of had a “life” so obsessing over a boyband that does not know I exists was not in the picture at all. Once the pandemic hit that’s where it all began again.. but on TikTok.. Around early 2020 I would get 1D/Harry related TikToks here and there on my For You Page and then the pandemic happened and BOOM I was back into the fandom, dedicating my life to these 5 guys and I don’t regret one bit of it. Before the pandemic I missed the stan account life and was wishing I could go back to it and here I am back but 6 years older. TikTok made me realize that you’re never too old to love a boyband and there are still people out there who love 1D just as much as I do. Okay, do you see what I’m talking about with the “wholeass essay” thing? I think I’m going to stop “talking” here and if you made it this far, Congratulations!! You made it through this dumb post and I love you for that. Okay I’m really gonna stop because it’s like 3am I need sleep hAaaa and don’t forget to treat people with kindness! <3
