Nicholas and Eva’s Honeymoon Fund
We’ve been asked what we’d like for a gift and the answer is simple: you, at our wedding, having a great time.
But if you insist then we’ll say what we’d also love is the most amazing honeymoon possible. We’re hoping for the holiday of a lifetime, possibly in the week of 1st - 7th July 2019. Even though it could be as simple as Tuscany, we want to see and do everything we’ve dreamed about and if you’d like to help us with that then read on!
Below are listed places we’d like to visit, eat, enjoy and relax. We have included the prices of flight tickets, car hire and accommodation. Just follow the link to our PayPal collection page here
 https://paypal.me/pools/c/8dX8Xu4vvT
We are ever so grateful for any contributions and will send you a photo of us enjoying your gift when we return, along with our sincerest thanks.
Nicholas and Eva
PS: we’re taking Alfred with us.

We’re hoping to get cheap flights and therefore we’ve got to book tickets in advance. Sky scanner web page provides the cheapest deals, and we’re thinking to stick to good old Ryanair.

We’d like to hire an SUV car to allow space for Alfred’s pram, suitcases and possibly a travel cot.

Pienza, a small town near Siena. It has got the most amazing views, as the town sits on a hill. Lovely little bars to get your coffee, or have an ice cream sitting on a square by an old church. Fabulous aperitivos for the evening, oh, and the best porchetta (pork cured ham) to grab on your walk around the town’s gorgeous streets.

Bar dell’Orso, Loc. la Colonna, 23, Monteriggioni (SI), 0039577305074
https://bardellorso.it/
The most delicious traditional tuscan dishes, from local cured hams, traditional bruschetta’s, lici (traditional tuscan pasta) with boar ragu, to fiorentina (delicious massive steaks). Nicholas and I visited Bar dell’Orso a couple of years back on our European road trip and were very well impressed by the place. We’d love to go back.
3 course dinner - £30 pp with good bottle of wine;

Siena, Tuscan medieval town that organizes palio (horse races) twice a year, on 2nd July and 16th August. We’d love to attend the 2nd of July Palio di Provenzano, named in honour of the Madonna of Provenzano, a Marian devotion particular to Siena which developed around an icon from the Terzo Camollia. Ten horses and riders, bareback and dressed in the appropriate colours, represent ten of the seventeen contrade, or city wards.
