Gwen and Teresa first crossed paths twenty two years ago in Nashville, Tennessee. At the age of five the two young girls ran into each other, quite literally. Gwen and Teresa were out with their parents trick or treating. Both girls were dressed as witches and a bond had been forged. Ironically their mothers were childhood friends that had grown up together but had lost touch over the years. With the mall teeming with other children and their parents Gwen and Teresa's mothers decided to stick together while their girls entering them into the Halloween costume contest. Neither Gwen nor Teresa won but that didn't matter to either of them. They were both happy enough to have made a new friend.

These women remained close friends and became inseparable in High School. Gwen and Teresa went to parties, attended study groups and went on double dates together. Where you would find one of them you were guaranteed to find the other. Gwen felt right at home at Teresa's house and she felt right at home at Gwen's. After graduation these two women parted ways but kept in touch with weekly calls, emails and texts. Gwen had recorded her first album with RCA Nashville and was touring to promote her album. Teresa's choice of career would also take her out of Nashville broadening her horizons.

Years later Teresa's job would transfer her to Santa Cruz, California and soon it was home. It made perfect sense that Gwen would relocate from Nashville to Santa Cruz to be closer to her childhood friend. As children they were the best of friends have remained close over the years. Gwen has since taken some time off from touring to get a little r & r before working on her next album. At Gwen's urging her brothers and sisters have also relocated to Santa Cruz. Gwen and Teresa could not be more thrilled to be reunited in California. Though they had stayed in touch they missed one another and were overdue to reconnect with one another and cause a little mischief for old times sake.

Melinda and Guy met six months ago through a mutual friend that had coerced Melinda into attending a bonfire party on the beach. Both Melinda and Guy come from wealthy families. The main difference between them is that Melinda tries her best to be the perfect daughter and Guy does his utmost to rebel and cause conflict within his own. Melinda sees in Guy the person that she would like to be. She has grown tired of being attached to her parents, primarily her father, by the apron strings. Melinda brother and her sister have rebelled, much like Guy, yet Melinda stays true to form what her father wants in a daughter. She needs Guy to help her break free of that hold her father has over her.

Guy can be an only child or come from a large family himself. He would have been born and raised in Santa Cruz and possibly went through all years of High School with Melinda and their paths had never crossed until they met six months ago. Guy is a player, he likes women and women like him, however, he grows tired of the game and wants to meet the right woman for him. What he doesn't know is that the woman that's right for him is right in front of him in Melinda. The two of them, despite having opposite personalities and outlooks in life, are drawn together first as friends then something more develops along the way.

Melinda would have remembered Guy from back in High School but it is very unlikely that he'd remember her. From the moment she first say Guy she felt drawn to him but did nothing about due to her introverted nature. Guy will be a bad influence on her and the tide may turn and he may calm his wild ways the closer the two of them become. Guy's play-by is open please run it by me first, as is his background and his personality. He would be 28 years old and have attended the same High School as Melinda. Please do not take this character and ditch. There are plenty of other characters on site that he can be plotted and threaded with including Melinda's older brother Jackson.
