Can I just...

In lieu of the new tumblr settings, can I make yet another plea with those of you who read fics and consume art on tumblr to please reblog them?   

Fics and art will die on a creator’s dash if they aren’t reblogged.  It’s never been more true than now. 

If you want to keep receiving content from creators, reblog the the content. If it’s something you enjoyed?  Reblog it.  It’s not hard.  I am going to make a point to reblog everything I read from now on.  (With the proper tags of course), as well as all the art that I see on my dash.  

I cannot make it simpler.  Posts WILL die unless they’re reblogged.  No one will see your ‘like’.  Your like is a bookmark for YOU to find it later.  Your reblog means the world to a creator because it means you are willing to go the little extra distance and recommend this to your followers.  

Don’t let creations die on the dash of those who created them.

It’s time for  #EatTheRare 2.0!

In case you don’t know, EatTheRare is all about the rare pairs, meaning all those ships from Hannibal other than Hannigram, and all the ones involving Mads’ and Hugh’s numerous roles.

Be it Bedelia/Hannibal, Alana/Margot, the ever popular Basic Chickens, Valhalla Enchanted, or the lesser known Royale Instinct, or something else entirely. Is there no ship among these that strikes your fancy? Why not create one yourself! The possibilities are endless! And if you need help pairing the characters, there is this amazing Rarepair Generator.

Of course, none of these have to be romantic and/or sexual. All kinds of relationships are allowed and encouraged: friendships, ace relationships, or anything else, all are valid and allowed!

We want to encourage you to explore and create, to come up with your own story for how these characters met or deepen an existing relationships. Canon or not, all ships deserve love!

This is why Hannibal Cre-Ate-Ive decided to hold the second #EatTheRare fest!

Here’s how you can participate: Write/draw/create anything for a Rarepair, either a Mads/Hugh minor ship (meaning no Spacedogs and Tristhad due to their popularity and the fact that they have their own events) or a Hannibal minor pairing (meaning no Hannigram) and post it on Tumblr, Twitter or anywhere from September 24th to October 1st with the tag #EatTheRare.
