The au pair knew the moment had come. The beast had lurked, indeed, and the beast, at its hour, had sprung. And she could not risk the most important thing, her most important person. Not for one more day.

first of all, Tim has said he doesn't write with endgames in mind, so this is already a dumb headline on that basis alone, but there's a lot more that's wrong with this article.
that scene in the hospital served a very simple purpose, to show once again Tommy is there for Buck, but he also was there for Hen who is a long time friend.
they keep focusing on that 118 group chat as a clue that the writers are signaling Tommy as an outsider, when we can see that Bobby shows Athena his phone, it's a 118 group chat after all, does that mean Athena is not relevant or an outsider to them? No.
we didn't learn Marisol's last name, or any back story besides her being a nun, she was barely in any scenes with other characters outside of Eddie, the woman didn't even get a breakup scene.
Bobby and Athena went on a date without any build up at the end of season 1 and then got married very quickly, most of their "great love story" happened afterwards, HenRen were already married when the show started and we only learned about the start of their relationship through a flashback episode, not an arc.
another sign they're more obsessed about Tommy's screentime and focus than we are, mainly because they think it's a gotcha, but normal people are aware he's not a main character so all of his development, screentime and focus will only be seen through another (main) character's perspective.
there's a lot more that's wrong with the way this article is framed which makes me wonder if we're watching the same show at all, but I wanted to end this post with my least favorite part of the article:
it was written by someone who's not a queer man and pushed the homophobic narrative that gay men can't just hang out with/make friends with other men without ulterior motives
a narrative that is further pushed in this very same article.

It's gotta be easy for you in a place like this, though, huh? Going to sleep next to somebody every night. You get to pretend you're okay...
