Happy Holidays, everyone! We have been so caught up with post-grad life that we’re announcing this pretty late:

Hanami has been nominated for The Best Student Film at the Festival TOFUZI 2016 in Batumi, Georgia and has been accepted to the Free Net World Film Festival in Nis, Serbia!

We’re so honored to have our film featured in these festivals and hope it continues to sprout even more!

Holy HANA!!! Within the same day, "Hanami" was chosen to be featured on CGSociety! It's such an honor and pleasure for having our tears shared among everyone-- pass down the tissues will ya! ( ͒˃̩̩⌂˂̩̩ ͒)/

Wowow!! Our flowery efforts paid off today at Encore Screening! We received an Outstanding Achievement Award for "Hanami" along with 18 other awesome short films from our class~ We're so thankful-- our award looks like shiny candy! (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

Although we’re kinda late on this, we want to wish all the mothers out there a Happy Mother’s Day and we hoped everyone and their family enjoyed! Here’s the extended photo of the picture in the frame Cecilia was holding. A huge shout out to our own mothers as ell for giving us all your love and support throughout the making of this film- we love you!  ( ˊᵕˋ )♡

Through all the blood, sweat, and tears, our journey in transforming our baby sprout of an idea has finally grown into a monstrous weed of a film! Many thanks to everyone who has helped us along the way in creating "Hanami"-- it was a blast!
