hey i came up with the player character finally!! this is shiori :] she's a sukeban (all-girl gang member; sukeban is really the term for the gang itself or the leader but i couldn't find any words for like normal members). i don't care that they mostly existed in the 70s and 80s it's my game i do what i want

welcome to the sideblog for my little passion project

before i say anything about hanakoi i'm gonna preface this by saying i honestly don't expect anyone other than my friends to care about it. i am a solo dev in high school making my first game. my art isn't the greatest and i don't have any midi software or a good mic for voice acting. this is just a game made because i dreamed up an ending. like toby fox with deltarune.

what is hanakoi: fleeting blossom?

hanakoi is a visual novel about a girl named hanako, who will not get her happy ending. i don't want to spoil anything just in case this game gets more popular than i think. it will be developed on kohana (formerly kochovn) whenever it is rereleased on the app store, development will likely begin in 2025 as they are doing many bug fixes and qol improvements.

who are you?

i'm kris (he/they/it/meow pronouns). i'm a solo dev in high school working on my first game. my main is @wavepriisms if you want more info on me.

why are you making a game?

as i said before, this is purely because i dreamed the ending and decided to make it happen. i am a huge fan of ddlc and higurashi (among other things), so a visual novel felt right for my story.
