Hey people! I'm Tom, 17, from Coventry in the West Midlands of Englandland. I did me one of them poem thingies...
Inspired by the last few snowy days in the UK, here's a lovely and uplifting poem for Valentine's Day.
OMG! SNOW IS LIEK SO POETIC!
The feel of snow underfoot, crunchy and new. The pooling of cold water inside your shoe. The wispy white flakes as they come into view. The pain as they drive up and fly into you. The beauty of snow as it falls down from space. The horror of seeing your freezing red face. The beautiful sight of the snow from afar. The skidding of tires as you just miss a car.
You smile as a girl you know turns up unplanned. But your fingers are too cold to reach for her hand. Passion takes hold as you burst through the door. But you slip and you fall due to snow on the floor. Ending up on the bed, you’re both ready to go. But then all you want is a cup of cocoa.
Snow isn’t fucking romantic. And neither is this poem.
