In honor of the Jewish New Year, I created a beautiful star from branches and fruits, and I liked it so much that I wanted to preserve its image not only in photographs.
I sketched it in a sketchbook, and while I was drawing, I really wanted to create it as a painting on canvas.
This was an unusual desire, because painting classes at art and university made me think that painting was not for me, and I had not approached canvas since graduation.
I am grateful to the One who inspired me to create this star,
To the One who inspires me to draw further and expand my skills,
To the One who creates with me.

"A stranger, mute, through mists that curled,
in beauty clad not of this world,
came to her, leaned above her pillow;
and in his glance was such a billow
of love and grief that you’d infer
all his compassion was for her.
This was no angel to befriend her,
this was no heaven-sent defender:
no crown of iridescent beams
adorned his forehead with its gleams;
nor one of those who burn together
in hell, no tortured sinner — no!
he was like evening in clear weather:
not day, nor night — not gloom, nor glow!"

Psalm 103 (1-4):
O Adonai my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and majesty,
Who cover Yourself with light as with a garment, Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain.
He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters, Who makes the clouds His chariot, Who walks on the wings of the wind,
Who makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flame of fire.
.....
In honor of the Jewish New Year,
I made this beautiful and delicious star.
Happy New Year!

Love You,
The One who is always there.
I love You in all your forms,
Through all the images I see You.

My art of the beautiful Inanna, Queen of Heaven.
Inanna has many names in different cultures and different eras - Ishtar, Asherah, Aphrodite, Freya, Durga... but her essence is always the same - the Goddess of Love and War, the giver of Life and Death, the Wife of the Thunderer.
“I walk across the skies and the rain pours down.
I walk on the ground and the grass and grains grow.”

Rosh Hashanah - the Jewish New Year - begins on October 2 this year.
The Jewish calendar is linked to the lunar cycle, so the new year coincides with the new moon - and this year also with a solar eclipse.
In ancient times, people tried to spend the days of the new moon and, especially, eclipses as calmly as possible. This is the best time for spiritual practices and reflection - and the worst for being active in society.
The New Year holiday opens a ten-day period of prayer and repentance, the “days of trembling,” which ends with the holiday of Yom Kippur, the “day of reconciliation.”
It is believed that during these ten days God watches people especially carefully, making decisions about their future life - on earth and in heaven.
