Just the end of summer update. I finally got my solar panel running, I still need to make a permanent home for it but it’s feeding me power already. I also am running a bunch of 12v outlets, after the last power outage I want this boat self sustaining. So here’s the beginning of my next experiment . I’m testing the waterproofing ability of Epoxy, resin and PC petrify. The main thing I see so far is they are not doing as well as I expected and Resin is resisting slightly better then epoxy. Okay it’s been a month of soaking up water and as far as water resistance goes Total Boat polyester structural filler is the winner with taking only 2 Milligrams of water. The clear loser is Dynalite with one taking in 1.12 grams of water. I will let it soak for another month and start my next test soon.
