shirabu kenjirou x reader hanahaki au
hanahaki disease : a disease where when there is an unrequited love flowers blooms in ones chest till the vines envelop the body and you slowly die to the feeling of thorns piercing your lungs
Tumblr media
you loved shirabu so much. you’d do so much for him, but here’s the flaw in your thoughts, he’s not into you, like at all. in fact he’s dating someone else. someone better than you could ever be. they were perfectly beautiful, put up with his temper, so sweet, and had the softest voice. there was no flaw. absolutely no way you could hate them for getting with him, and you couldn’t do anything because he looked so helplessly in love with her, to the point of letting down his cool exterior to be soft with her. it was so sickeningly saccharine but left such a bitter taste in your mouth. well, something else left a bitter taste in your mouth every time you saw them together. the metallic flowery mix that sprouted out of your lungs the more you let it fester. you knew it’d be gone if you just told him but you couldn’t ruin what they have, you couldn’t ruin your guys’ friendship, so you opted to sit in your pain and suffering, and as you worsened you saw them get happier. there came a day when you couldn’t hold in the flower petals, as you felt the vines envelop your lungs. it was excruciating, yet so, so, so, calming, you could finally let go of the pain your heartfelt every time you saw them, and luckily you put on a good enough facade where no one knew it would soon be your end so it was all calm.
shirabu didn’t know what happened, he and his s/o seemed like they were doing fine, but then out of the blue he found them cheating on him with semi, it hurt it really did, so of course, he called you, but you didn’t pick up his calls. he started to get worried his tears worsening, he rushed over to your place, and when he found you on the floor laying in a pile of flowers and blood his heart shattered and splintered into pieces. you were always there in the background for him and supported him without him noticing. now you were gone. he was left all alone. if only he hadn’t been so blinded by love he could’ve helped you. you wouldn’t have had to go like this. he could’ve helped you. returned the favor.
now it’s over.
everything’s gone.
he was all alone.

ayato - modern/high school au + soulmate au
whatever soulmate writes on themselves shows up on the others skin in the same place
Tumblr media
- ayato is the class president and everyone always laughs cause compared to him his soulmate is so messy
- scribbles he never made adorn his arms and even legs sometimes
- he had a slight smile on his face when had been changing and saw that apparently you and someone else had a game of tic tac toe on your thigh, he smirked and hoped you had been the one with x’s since it was the winner
- one day though he was supposed to show a new student around school and they would follow him around to his classes to get a feel of the school
- when he went to come get you from the main office he was shocked to see the same scribbles on him all over your arm
- the principal was confused since she had never seen ayato with that face but even so she proceeded to introduce you to to each other while ayato just nodded, he was lucky you weren’t able to see his arms, no matter how confident he acted this moment absolutely terrified him
- but as soon as he went to open the door for you and him to his class his sleeve rolled up a little revealing your drawings from while you were bored im the car and you literally just stood there mouth dropped open in shock and when he looked at you and saw your face he realized you saw
- he just gave a slight smile and said “guess we’re soulmates right?”
