A dark day.

Sometimes it’s how I feel. Endless infighting in me. Everyone wants to steer, or, no one wants to steer.

Take a picture with your favorite character! The commission I offered at @fantasybasel 2024. It was surprisingly popular! It all started with the picture of me and Chopper.

Before FaBa, I had a lot of anxiety about the show. I wasn’t sure how people would react to my art. I want to draw so many things, but where to start? To ease my own mind, I decided to just draw something that makes ME happy. When my husband saw my picture, he really loved it and wanted one for himself! So I drew him and Piccolo as requested (we were watching Dragon Ball at that time in memory of Toriyama Akira-sensei). He then said to me that I should offer to do this at FaBa, people would love it. I didn’t really believe him, but I like drawing it, so I offered it anyway. And he was riiiight! I can’t stress enough how much it means to me to see people happy when they got their pictures! This truly brings me joy and reminds me to never forget being a happy fan even if drawing has become my job.

FaBa was wonderful, I met so many nice people and had sooo much support from family and friends.

I can't wait to go to the next comic con and be back to FaBa next year!

I grew up with One Piece manga. I absolutely love it. So many memories with it. My husband somehow was never interested in it, until a few months ago. We started watching the anime together (Thanks to our cool friends). Now he’s a fan, and his favorite characters are these ones. Especially #Sogeking, he’s his new favorite. I don’t draw fan art very often, and these ones are for him ❤️

Btw, I really enjoy seeing his reaction, not knowing what’s going to happen 😂 It’s so fresh and fun!
