Food Survey

  1.  How do you feel about golden oreos? Garbage

2.     What is your favorite dessert topping? Cherry, nuts, whipped cream

3.     What is your favorite flavor/brand of bubble gum? I haven’t chewed gum in a while. I don’t....mint?

4.     Favorite cheese? Mozzarella 

5.     Favorite Lunch Meat? That sounds gross. 

6.     Favorite ice cream flavor? All of them except vanilla. No one ever wants to be vanilla

7.     Best looking food? potatoes

8.     Best food to put cheese on? potatoes

9.     Best sexual food? Potatoes.....I’m fucking kidding. Probably whipped cream. 

10.   Best tasting drink in the summer? Beer. 

11.   Best tasting drink in winter? Coffee

12.   Best food for a night out with friends? Depends on the friend

13.   Best foods to eat with a roll? something I can put inside the roll and make a sandwich. 

14.   Messiest food, in your opinion? Pasta. 

15.   Easist food to prepare? A salad? I don’t know.

16.   Cheapest food you ever ate? Hot dogs.

17.   Most expensive food you ever ate? Probably something Atticus made. He’s into classy foods

18.   Stinkiest food you ever ate? I wont eat anything that doesn’t smell good. 

19.   Favorite dipping sauce? Ranch

20.   Best pizza topping? Something with like three meats....unless Jeanne is around and I try to spare her from my eating habits. 

21.   Favorite potato chip flavor? Nacho Cheese Doritos 

22.   Most toxic substance you ever ate? .....Mushrooms

23.   Most calories you ate in one meal? I don’t count them

24.   Favorite soda? Coke. I’m not real picky

25.   Favorite flavor of juice? Orange

26.   Favorite Vegetable? Potato

27.   Favorite fruit? An Apple maybe. It helps when I need something quick to eat.

28.   Worst canned food? Canned food is bad?

29.   Best side dish? Potatoes

30.   Worst fast food restuarant? I don’t know. All of them are technically bad but they all taste good 

31.   Best restaurant? The diner

32.   Best smelling food? I don’t need to answer this. I’ve said potatoes too much at this point. 

33.   Favorite cookie flavor? Chocolate chip. 

34.   Favorite cake flavor? Chocolate

35.   Favorite pie flavor? Pecan

36.   Chocolate or rainbow sprinkles? Chocolate

37.   Ketchup or Mustard? Both

38.   Best food to have on a date? Something that doesn’t make you look sloppy or cheap. 

39.   Most share-able food? My family has a rule about sharing foods typically.....It’s that we don’t. But usually if I’m on a date appetizers are good for it

“In the end does the down learn a lesson and earn their Holiday back or is it a bummer where there is no resolution” Simon joked. “I love my job, being a mechanic is kind of the only thing I can complete, I have this like mental block where I can’t finish thing’s. I just need more free time, next thing I know I’m gonna be old or something”

“That sounds like the title of a really sad made for tv movie. Well that sucks. I mean, it’s totally cool you’re not that guy anymore, but having work take up all your time sounds like it sucks. Unless you really like your job, I guess.”

“ Yeah that is always a possibility, but you just need to find that one manager to say yes when you apply. That’s smart, cause I really think something will happen soon. Has the medication been helping lately at least with controlling some of it?”

“I’m still a health risk. What happens if I have issues while working and collapse or something? And everyone thinks that it just means that I’m going to hurt myself or someone else falling asleep without any warning. But I’m looking for something. I’m not going to completely give up.”

“ I usually am, but it kind of went over my head till now. I should have realized it when places were starting to sell pumpkins. What idea’s do you have? I have no idea. He’s kind of scatterbrained sometimes.”

“Who isn’t psyched for Halloween? It’s been Halloween since September. I’m trying to narrow down my costume ideas. What’s your brother going as?”

“Seriously? I would have figured people would have been more flexible considering it isn’t like just you need a nap.  That’s a bummer. “ Simon replied “No one would blame you for any of it though”

“No luck. People aren’t exactly eager to hire someone who can’t keep his eyes open. Leads to accidents and shit.” He pointed out. “I can barely make myself get out of bed some days.”

“It makes it sound like were the town that forgot Halloween. It does kinda help though. Yeah it takes up most of my time lately, and I used to b that guy who had a hard time with paying attention to thing’s”

“I don’t know, man. I keep forgetting it’s October, if that helps. I think time is just kind of flying by. Work probably helps with that though, keeping your mind busy so you don’t get to like focus on other stuff.”

“That is exactly it. It’s like the older I get the more I lose time, which doesn’t exactly seem fair. So no luck on the job front?”

“I get it. I don’t even have a job right now and it seems like time just sort of flies by and before you realize it you’re at the end of the year wondering where it all went.”

“I went home cause I ran out of detergent and my little brother is already psyched about Halloween. Did I like lose a month of my life? I didn’t even  realize it was October. God, I gotta stop working so much”

Simon smiled down to Natasha’s face when she kissed his neck. He probably would be red if he could look at himself. “ My cousin doesn’t eat meat so I kind of end up being considerate of other people’s eating habits just out of experience. I gotta be good at something” He smiled kissing the top of her head “ You can eat whatever you want there’s a lot of it. “ He replied looking to figure out hat he wanted to eat. “ Glad you like it. Is it really that good?”

Natasha grinned and pressed her lips against the side of his neck. “You’re just a know it all, aren’t you?” She teased him, smiling as she looked at the food. “It’s a really good selection but I’m so hungry that I would pretty much eat anything.” She reached for the fruit first, she opened the container and pulled out a strawberry and took a bite of it before moaning. “This is so good.”

“Bridget Jones isn’t real though. We can’t count that one. “Simon replied knowing he had been caught but didn’t want to give in immediately. He wrapped a free hand around Natasha and pulled her close enjoying how it felt to have her next to him.  “See I knew that. “ He teased smiling at her. “ Oh is that right? “ Simon looked at the food and before glancing back at her  “Not going to lie I wasn’t sure how to go about this so I have a bunch of things. Salad, fruit, pasta, sandwiches. “  

“Loads of people: Jack Kerouac, Franz Kafka, Bridget Jones, Anne frank.” Natasha debated, a playful grin pulling at the corners of her lips as she moved herself so she was sitting between Simon’s legs with her head resting against his shoulder. “That’s right, the best actress in Norbury demands only the highest quality dates.” She titled her head back so she could look up at him, a bemused smile on her face. “There’s a possibility he might get more of a show after we’ve totally destroyed all this food.” Natasha winked at him. “So, what all did you pack for us?”

“Wait people actually keep diaries. I always thought that was just how people got away with narrating thing’s on TV” Simon replied in a teasing voice despite there having been a little seriousness in his comment. “ You’re welcome. I couldn’t just do the boring stuff for Norbury’s best actress.  He added before kissing Natasha back, pulling her close to him. “ That mountain man is either going to be very amused or very pissed off were desecrating his land. “ He joked. “Anything else for show?”

“It would definitely be one for my diary.” She smirked in his direction as she started to organized the food. “I appreciate the effort you put forward, it makes me feel really special.” Getting onto her knees she took him by the hand and pulled him down close enough that she could kiss him. “Might as well give any possible mountain men around a show.” she joked, sitting back on her heels.

“Shit yeah it would be. I’d have no idea what to say. I’d feel like I was on his property” Simon laughed before putting the food down once the blanket was laid out. “I have to admit, I’m normally terrible at this stuff,  so I had to try harder with this one. I’ll let you plan whatever you want to do” He added before taking a seat. He starts to pull out food, hoping it hadn’t spilled cause of his driving. 

“If we happen across any mountain men this will certainly be the most interesting date that I’ve ever been on.” She teased, grabbing the blanket and heading back to where she’d left him standing. Natasha unfolded it and laid it down on the ground before taking a seat on one side of it. “I have to say I’m quite impressed with how much thought you put into our date, Simon. If this continues to go well you should let me plan the next one.”
