My little sister is literally the coolest person I know. She beams with confidence even though teenage girls are often insecure. And she really should be confident, she’s so incredibly intelligent, kind-hearted and brave. She will argue with her teacher, politicians, older men about anything she feels is right (usually feminism or Palestine) and I’ve never seen her lose a debate. She always stands up for herself and others. She’s really good with people and she wants to become a social worker at a teenager’s shelter, I think she would be really good at it.
She’s also insanely good at football (soccer), even better than the boys her age.
My sister is so talented and smart and independent and I’m so proud of the woman she is becoming!
I want to take a break from discourse for a moment. Reblog or reply with a way a woman in your life is awesome.
I’ll go first. My mom is the most determined person I know. I’ve never seen her give up on anything and she always keeps a cool head when solving problems. She knows when to take a break and has impeccable work/life balance, but when she is working on something she is completely focused and always the most useful person in the room.

Hello radfem tumblr!
I don’t know how to use tumblr, I just hate twitter a lot and I’m kind of a public figure and I need to breathe so I came here !!
I’m 21, an activist and a communist. I’ve been getting into radical feminism lately because I am sick and tired of men and «non-binary» males taking over socialist and historically feminist spaces and turning them into liberal, choice feminist movements, and excluding women in the process.
After reading more works by women I’ve come to realize that men in general care way more about being perceived as intelligent than actually saying or doing something intelligent, and it pissed me off.
I think men’s incapability (or decision not) to use empathy and put their ego aside makes them completely incompetent in any position they might have in an anti-capitalist movement. The level of unwillingness to cooperate with women, and complete ignorance of what consequences it provably causes makes me want to rip all my hair out!
Like the amount of times I’ve seen socialist men behave in wildly unstrategic ways, just to let a woman get all the shit for it is unbelievable. In addition to the fact that they take all the credit when women do all the hard and amazing work.
I am in a position where I cannot just leave and not deal with it, but I really want to be anonymous so I can’t give more context of what I’m doing hehe. At least I am able to make good female networks and work with amazing revolutionary women of all generations almost daily, it does make it so worth it <3
This was just a rant and not really an introduction but whatever it needed to be said and it’s the reason I’m here.
I wonder if any of you are organized irl and if so what kind of activities are you doing, and if not then what you would like to do?

You don't see many homeless women on the street because they're getting trafficked and raped. Hope that helps because u ppl are so dump with your “society cares more about women that's why the majority of the homeless are men” no it's because they're getting assaulted and pimped in motels that's why u don't see them.

also btw ladies if a man comes up to you on the street with a microphone and tries to ask you questions, walk away. there’s a big issue with random men doing street interviews of women to try and bait them into saying something incels won’t like so they can post it and harass them. don’t say anything to them at all. there is a 99.9% chance that no matter what you say you are going to be turned into incel rage bait. plus they don’t deserve our help creating any kind of content to gain clout off of. ignore their obnoxious asses

“Porn has always existed” has to be one of the most brain-dead cope-harder takes. Porn addicts literally think ancient frescoes in the brothels of Pompeii are the same as a multi-billion dollar industry that has thousands of women being raped on camera, for anyone on the planet to view at any time, any place. People are so obsessed with porn they can’t imagine a world without it.

Women who do OF will see you criticize prostitution and say, “I’m a sex worker and I enjoy it!” as if their voice matters in a conversation about PROSTITUTION.
No, your ‘work’ in OF is not the same ‘work’ as a prostitute. And it’s really disheartening to see OF women/cam girls/etc so willing to throw prostitutes under the bus if it means THEY get to keep doing their online porn business. That’s why I hate the phrase ‘sex work’ to cover OF women, cam girls, prostitutes, sugar babies, etc. because then it started giving ‘sex workers’ in (arguably) more privileged positions the ability to talk over ‘sex workers’ in underprivileged positions.
Because what right does a cam girl have to talk over a stripper, who has to be touched and groped daily by pornsick men?
What right does an OF girl have to talk over a prostitute who is raped and beaten daily?
And now we can’t have conversations about prostitutes because those who have never been in prostitution but still do “sex work” will think their voice has any impact when no, we SHOULDN’T listen to them. Because they’re trying to speak from the position of a prostitute (by defending it and using their label as a ‘sex worker’ to equate themselves to prostitutes) when they aren’t prostitutes.
And that’s not to say that other forms of “”sex work”” aren’t traumatizing and exploitative; they all are. But it is different. And using your label as a ‘sex worker’ who rarely if ever interacts with her clients in-person to defend the right of a man to ‘buy’ and rape and abuse women, which prostitutes experience daily, is abhorrent.
Because they are not the ones who will actually be in the position of a prostitute, having to be assaulted by men to survive. But when they leverage their ‘sex worker’ label, they’re getting others to ignore the prostitute’s voice and prioritize theirs in a conversation that isn’t about them.
I’m just so sick of it.

gender is a conservative-made social construct btw. It has no purpose besides keeping women subordinate and dependant and making sure men join the military. It’s not an identity, it’s a method of oppression, and you are falling for it head over heels.
makeup and breast augmentation, high heels and false eyelashes aren’t “gender affirming “care””, they’re a product of capitalism that targets women, designed to make you feel ugly without them and become reliant on the industry.
Gender ideology is conservative and “gender affirming care” is capitalist. You aren’t a leftist or a communist.
Gender and capitalism doesn’t care if you’re born with a penis and doing these things, it profits just the same.

Stop hating your womb and making caricatures of your female anatomy being an angry or evil thing that only wants you to be pregnant or bring you pain and start hating:
• The medical industry for ignoring women’s pain and suffering for generations, not putting the same effort into researching the female body as it does male bodies, often acting as though women are simply small men
• Men in history who mass-slaughtered female medical practitioners and midwives, calling their research into women’s health witchcraft
• Capitalism and a male-orientated workforce and education system that fails to consider and factor women’s needs into it’s demand
• Patriarchal disgust for women’s bodies and their functions
• The sexualisation and shame of female bodies to the point where young women cannot seek help for their issues from caregivers/doctors/parents without fear and embarrassment
Yes, periods are inconvenient and often painful, but before you get frustrated with your body, demonising and blaming it, realise it would not be the way it is if not for a mass-scale medical and scientific negligence of women’s issues. Your body does not hate you- patriarchy does. Aim your energy and efforts there.
