Funny man Bob Odenkirk is back in action as Hutch Mansell! From the surprise 2021 action hit Nobody, created by John Wick universe architect Derek Kolstad.

In Nobody 2, he’s once again a full-time government assassin, struggling to balance his deadly career with family life.

Hoping to reconnect, he takes his family on a nostalgic vacation to a small-town theme park—only to face hostility from corrupt locals, including Sheriff Abel (played by Colin Hanks) and park owner Wyatt (played by John Ortiz).

When the town’s crime boss Lendina (played by Sharon Stone) gets involved and targets his family, Hutch must unleash his lethal skills to protect them and end her brutal reign.

SHE'S DTF WITH ANYONE WHO HAS A PULSE! | Vixen! (1968) | Sexploitation Movie Review

The time has finally come for me to tackle the films of Russ Meyer.

It kind of boggles my mind that I haven’t done this before.

I'm starting my Russ Meyer journey with reviewing 1968's "Vixen" starring Erica Gavin, Garth Pillsbury, Jon Evans and Harrison Page.

A softcore/sexploitation/satirical/horny movie that pushes a few boundaries while featuring a well-endowed, insatiable woman who cannot be tamed.

Just the way Uncle Meyer liked 'em.

Synopsis: Vixen (Erica Gavin) lives in the mountain wilderness of British Columbia with her husband Tom Palmer (Garth Pillsbury). Tom works as a bush pilot and wilderness guide, which keeps him away from home often, so the sexually voracious Vixen satisfies her urges by having flings with just about anyone she can get her hands on.

UNDERRATED BLAXPLOITATION HEIST MOVIE! | Detroit 9000 (1973) | Movie Review

My latest movie review is for 1973's "Detroit 9000".

It's about two cops from the Detroit Police Department: street-smart white detective Danny Bassett (played by Alex Rocco) and fly as f**k black detective Sgt. Jesse Williams (played by Hari Rhodes) working together to solve a robbery that went down at a fundraiser in a downtown Detroit hotel where a black congressman announced his run for Governor.

They must work together under boiling political pressure to find the culprits behind this caper and solve this volatile case.

This was directed by Arthur Marks who had many Blaxploitation movies on his resumé: 1975's "Bucktown" and "Friday Foster", 1976's "JD's Revenge" and "The Monkey Hu$tle".

It stars Hari Rhodes, Alex Rocco, Vonetta McGee and Scatman Crothers.

Fun fact: this is one of Quentin Tarantino's favorite Blaxploitation movies and he likes it so much that he re-released it in theaters back in 1998 through his short-lived film distribution company Rolling Thunder Pictures.

Chuck Norris came out of of retirement for the sci-fi/action movie film produced, written, directed and starring Derek Ting.

He could've ended his career with 2012's "The Expendables 2" and his fun, quick cameo amongst the very best action stars this planet we call Earth had to offer.

Instead he came back for "Agent Recon".

DONNIE YEN VS. INJUSTICE! | The Prosecutor (2025) | Movie Review

Donnie Yen as a former cop who now prosecutes the bad guys but who will also kick your head in if need be?

"The Prosecutor" which Donnie Yen stars/produces/action choreographs and directs might just be the movie for you.

It's about a young man who's framed and falsely pleads guilty to drug trafficking after being deceived by his defense lawyer. A veteran policeman-turned-prosecutor, Fok (Donnie Yen), is assigned to the case and becomes convinced of the man's innocence. Fok risks his career and life to uncover the truth and bring the real villains to justice.

In theaters this Friday January 10th from Well Go Usa Entertainment.

Going all the way back to 2022 to review "Christmas Bloody Christmas" from Shudder.

A killer Robot Santa movie from Writer/Producer/Director Joe Begos ("Bliss & "VFW") starring Riley Dandy, Sam Delich and Abraham Benrubi.

It’s Christmas Eve and fiery record store owner Tori Tooms just wants to get drunk and party until the robotic Santa Claus at a nearby toy store goes haywire and makes her night more than a little complicated. Santa Claus begins a rampant killing spree through the neon-drenched snowscape against a backdrop of drugs, sex, metal, and violence, ultimately forcing Tori into a blood-splattered battle for survival against the ruthless heavy metal Saint Nick himself.

VARÈSE SARABANDE'S REEL CULT Is Your New Favorite B-MOVIE VINYL SOUNDTRACK Label!

Varèse Sarabande and Craft Recordings joined forces earlier this year to run a new vinyl soundtrack label called REEL CULT.

Their mission: to resurrect from the depths of bygone video stores and midnight repertory theaters, the wildest B-movie soundtracks from cult classic creature features, Blaxploitation cinema, Wild Western revenge sagas and spine-tingling horror flicks.

It's about Jane Tennay (Chesty Morgan), a special secret agent who's ready to take on a vicious drug-trafficking ring. Her mission: to infiltrate the dangerous criminal underworld to ferret out the mysterious heroin baron, Ivan Toplar, and crush his criminal empire. Her secret weapon: a state-of-the-art gadget hidden in the most unexpected place (her boob).

This is the second movie in the Doris Wishman/Chesty Morgan trilogy.

CHESTY MORGAN'S KILLER BREASTS! | Deadly Weapons (1974) | Sexploitation Movie Review

I wanted to review a movie series for the first time and it only felt right to go for the Doris Wishman/Chesty Morgan trilogy!

Starting with 1974's "Deadly Weapons", followed by it's sequel 1974's "Double Agent 73" and ending with 1975's "The Immoral Three".

Having just discovered Doris Wishman's filmography, who was a pioneer in the world of cult cinema and one of the most prolific women writer/director/producer/editor of Sexploitation movies from the early 1960s up to the early 80s, it felt like the right franchise to sink my teeth into!

Starring the one and only Chesty Morgan! and co-starring the biggest knockers (73 inch bust!) the world has ever seen!

Cinépix Receives The Denis-Héroux Career Award @ Fantasia Film Festival 2024!

On July 28th 2024 at the Cinémathèque Québécoise, John Dunning and André Link, founders of Cinépix (known today as Lionsgate Films), Canada’s first commercial film studio were honored at the 28th edition of the Fantasia Film Festival with the Denis-Héroux Career Award for their contribution to Genre Cinema here in Quebec and Canada.

Big names like David Cronenberg, Bill Murray and Ivan Reitman had their start and/or had their first career successes at Cinépix.

André Link and Greg Dunning (son of John who passed away back in 2011) were in attendance to receive the award.

I'm giving you a bit of the Cinépix backstory before showing you highlights of the award ceremony.

A NEW CREATURE FEATURE CLASSIC! | Scared Shitless (2024) | Movie Review | Fantasia Film Festival

This is my movie review for "Scared Shitless", a new Canadian creature feature classic in the making I saw at the 28th edition of the Fantasia Film Festival.

It's about A plumber (Steven Ogg, "The Walking Dead", "Dark Match") and his germophobic son (Daniel Doheny, "Brand New Cherry Flavor", "Day Of The Dead") who are forced to get their hands dirty to save the residents of an apartment building, when a genetically engineered, blood-thirsty creature escapes into the plumbing system.

Directed by Vivieno Caldinelli ("Seven Stages To Achieve Eternal Bliss", "This Hour Has 22 Minutes") and the creature is designed by Canadian practical FX wizard Steve Kostanski (of Astron-6 fame, "Psycho Goreman").

It's in the same vein as "The Blob", "Tremors" or David Cronenberg's "Shivers" but funnier.
