Hey all, 

In what probably isn’t a surprise to most of you, the team has found it hard to keep the group afloat and thriving these past few weeks. Things are only slated to get busier as August comes around and with even less time to dedicate to running things, we’ve decided that, rather than closing outright, we wanted to give you lovely members the choice of writing in a closed group setting without admins. With few to no apps trickling in and with real life just being a hot mess for the world right now, we think giving members the choice of writing in this way is best, rather than trying to enforce activity requirements during an already stressful and emotionally taxing time.

This way, whoever chooses to can keep writing these characters within the group setting, but in a more lax, leisurely manner. Also, because we know it’s the worst feeling to not know what might’ve happened, we want to give everyone the choice of finding out what was going to happen in the plot. That way, if you’re inspired by the plot ideas, you can run with them, rather than never finding out what had been planned and where it might’ve taken your characters. So, if you want to know what was going to happen, please just let us know and we’d be happy to share! 

 The only thing we’d ask is that if you want to keep writing these characters, you do so within the closed group setting, as they are all based on skeletons that admins have written and put time into. We love you all and that’s why we’re giving the option of writing in a closed setting vs just closing outright. This definitely isn’t something we’ve come to overnight or lightly. We appreciate everyone’s support thus far and are so grateful for all the interactions we’ve had in Grimmbrook, so we’re happy there’s an option for you all to keep doing what you’ve been doing, without the pressure of a traditional group setting. We love all our members and are so grateful for you all!

Alt fc's for Alice Summer?

Hey! Thank you for your question. At the moment we don’t really have any alternatives in mind for Alice because she’s part of a sibling set, you see. Of course, if you have some suggestions and would like to discuss, feel free to come chat with us off anon and we can discuss. However, as it stands now, Jodie works because she works well with the faceclaim for Jack, which is currently a taken character.

is little red riding hood available??

Good evening, thank you for your message. Little Red Riding Hood is actually already a part of this roleplay in the form of Madison Redding. One of the big current plots in this arc is trying to find out who murdered her as her character is very much deceased. So she is not available for play and is instead considered an NPC. However, I definitely suggest checking out some of our other available skeletons and feel free to check in if you have any further questions.
