Frida Practice

I’ve been practicing digital art and I think/hope I’m improving so here’s a product of my practice (plus some little ideas I have for the story I’m trying to get off the ground🤞)

Also I would be happy to answer any questions you have regarding this story project (spoilers permitting) bc I have a story structure outline that I like so I just gotta start hammering in those little details… like overarching theme and whatever hahaha don’t worry I have it narrowed down to two options

How do you think Frida feels about Splinter since what happened to her is non of his fault?

Originally I thought she'd blame him for keeping the brothers away from her even if he didn't know but that's no fun.

She'd think he was some old rat until it's revealed that he was actually a human. Not just any human, her boss/mother figure?'s ex that she keeps gushing about. She goes into perfection mode.

When she learned about Lou jitsu from Big Mama, she looked up to him, especially when she saw his fighting skills. When she finds out Splinter is Lou Jitsu, she starts trying to impress him, practically acting like his own bodyguard until he tells her that she's his child, not a warrior.

Or something like that ;)

Now I’m curious if her mask thing is made of solid material and acts like a helmet or if it’s fabric (which would mean that she has just a lot of sharp features) and goes on like the spiderman mask.

Frida Brainrot

In trying to figure out everything I can about Frida (which isn’t much but hey), I’ve watched all of her scenes intently to see if I can deduce anything.

First, I have a rough height reference.

She (over on the right) is about a forehead taller than Big Mama. you know who else is about a forehead taller than Big Mama?

Neon Leon, that’s who (I also noticed that Don’s forehead is most of what caused him to be taller than Leo hahaha love you, Donald).

(Apparently Leo’s 5’7” or something so boo yah we got a Frida height.)

And second, I don’t know what this does except confuse me because I thought Frida’s mask was like Casey’s- just a front panel thing. But then I saw this:

Does the mask just go around her head? I thought the sharpness of the mask was bc it’s structured but does she just have a sharp face? This mask irks me (and so does her overall design bc in each of the three appearances she makes, her design is slightly different and always confusing but that’s a for another time).

ROTTMNT THEORY/HC???:

Big Mama's Assistant who was heavily implied to be one of the turtles missing sister, having a mask that resembles Kabuki Theater face paint foreshadowing her story, in that red was for passionate, young warriors and heroic characters (one of the writers said that she was to be a ninja so serious it was funny ) and the arched lines from the eyes were for noble and serious heros and the mouth like lines where usually for non -human characters I've seen that kind of fanged mouth on demon characters etcetera send tweet I'll edit in my photographic evidence later

I think it’s save to say that the turtle brothers were raised and trained with the intention that in a fight their priority is to protect themselves and their brothers while also not causing lethal damage to their opponent. We see this in several instances, like when Leo accidentally cuts Warren Stone in half everyone is visibly horrified or when they are chasing down Splinter and Meatsweats in their tank the other three don’t hesitate to step in when Donnie wants to use a weapon that would cause excessive harm and they don’t hide their displeasure about it to Donnie either.

I theorize that Frida would be the opposite of that. Why should she care if she causes serious injuries to her opponent? And if she does, good, another reminder why they shouldn‘t have gotten in her way in the first place. Dragging an unnecessary fight out for too long would mean losing precious time that could be spent completing her mission and, what, in favor of someone who just tried to bite her head off? I believe her mentality would be more along the lines of „Your first strike should be your last“.

Them joining forces in a fight would be interesting since it pretty much would be the brothers, who were taught to fight to protect not to cause harm, fighting alongside their sister Frida „killshots-only“ Hamato.
