don't you love how barbara gordon is one of the oldest batfam characters to appear in comics and be still around today (along with Dick and Alfred) and yet in 90% of batfam posts she either a) gets excluded for not fitting the "Bruce's kid uwu" mold, b) gets made into a villain for Dick Grayson-related angst or c) is reduced to the "mom friend"

Oh I love this. Roy absolutely calm, knowing Jade is going to jump in and save them. Jade going above and beyond and taking out every person in the club, then acting like she's furious and hates Roy even though she just saved his ass without him even asking. The flirting on Roy's part to piss her off even further (also an insane thing to say in front of you adoptive mom). And the eye contact. The EYE CONTACT. That is not the eye contact of people who hate each other. Not even the eye contact of two people who are just working together to save their child.

God I love them. Excited to catch up on this GA run and hoping to get more RoyJade content
