Honestly i struggle with essay but i tried to re-write the quotes in my own words then add the quote in to back it up - i kinda did it in two ways just in case one was wrong. I wanted to base it off of both my own opinion and the research to back it up.

Need to work more on linking the different contexts together, and especially linking back to your own practice and why and how you want to do what you want to do or what questions this sparked for you (see first attached image on writing context paragrpahs)
Split your methods sections into two main paragraphs - one on Flaneur walking methods and why and how these are useful to create photos to express feelings of isolation and anxiety during the time of lockdown and covid-19. the other on post-photography methods (digital manipulation, augmenting images etc) in order to express these mental health issues/isolation of the pandemic through cyberpunk aesthetics. Then connect both these methods to how you currently make photos, or how you want to in the future (see attached image on writing a methods paragraph)
Use less quotes - re-write into your own words and include in-text refs as to where the info came from
conclusion - see other attached image - re state your key contexts and methods, talk about how and why you want to use these in your own photo practice and then leave the reader with a nice final statement that sums up this essay

First he always uses this layout for his type. It is a default one he saved. Everyday when he makes a poster he changes the date and poster number.
He usually doesnt know what he is going to do so he starts by experimenting. He first gets a big brush then starts choosing colours.
What I find interesting about this step is the lack of control. To an extend there is control however he seems to just be experimenting with colour and shapes. He isnt thinking too much about what he is doing - he is just doing it.
The gradient tool is being used a lot. I like that he is layering it on top of each other. Its very interesting and I like how this piece is coming along.
He next starts adding a lot of solid dots. This is a great use of solid colour on top of the gradient. I really like this and find it interesting how he is just going with the flow.
Next he goes into Adobe illustrator and creates 3D looking shapes. I find this extremely interesting because I had never thought about combining the two programs together and feel kinda dumb haha.
Using the wrap tool he is able to change the shape more and it gives it a more flowy look. I feel like I am learning a lot from this video right now and I cant wait to try this.
He then makes the front bigger and copys his work. He then goes to photoshop with it.
At this point he said he doesnt use plain vibrant colours - thats a big no no for him. Also make sure this stuff needs to be print ready.
He also used lasso tool to just randomly cut and I love that.
He then covered the whole shape with more colours. I love this process because he said he doesnt like to care if it looks bad or good he just keeps adding or removing until it looks right. I think this freedom helps him create better works.

With this activity we were trying to break down the work we believed to work with our style well. Work that had the design styles that we would like to apply to our work. We had to identify Context and Method.
