okay so basically every books habe the same price in EVERY bookstores in france because of a law that prevent any bookshops/bookstores to change the price of a book and the price can’t change, it is forbidden for any shops to sell book their own prices so black fridays never involves books or anything and when a book is dirty or has marks on it, we only can give 5% off a book lmao which is NOTHING this is crazy to even think it (it works sometimes tho) but yeah laws are very strict on books
