development of both are paused for the next 4 days while i take my sister to see the world off our home island- expect another chap sometime in the following two weeks

《August, 1981》

Sirius put one arm around his middle and put his other arm atop it so he could cover his mouth with a half clenched fist to hide how stupidly he was smiling. Remus caught it though and broke his cooing at Harry to smile sheepishly back before returning to the task at hand.

In that moment, he couldn't help but think of how excited he was for when they finally had their own...

When the war was over...

When everything could be beautiful without barriers.

《December, 1995》

"Sirius..."

Sirius started in surprise as he heard Remus enter the room. He looked up to see him immediately kneel before him with his eyes instantly tearing up at seeing his distress and Harry's stuffed stag in a fierce grip within his hands.

"Breathe, love..."

He didn't realize how much his cries had picked up and he bowed his head again, trying to oblige with his eyes shut tight. Remus sighed tiredly and rubbed both his arms supportively.

"We will, okay? We'll find him- all of them. It's going to be alright."

He'd said it countless times in the past three days, and though Sirius wanted to absorb that reassurance, it did very little. Their son wasn't here. He wasnt close. He was far away, somewhere unknown, trying to find the danger Arthur pulled him from a year prior. It was killing him and he couldn't bear it anymore- if he didn't get him back soon, he was sure he would cease to exist.

working on a chapter x2 ahead from the last one posted on "To Go From Here"- heart wrenching yet happy, and back to heart wrenching. A solid mix, and happy flashbacks pre October 1981- my fav flavour👏🏼

I booted up my old iPad 1st Gen & saw the fics I had in my library lacked covers sooo... I made some quick ones to fix that✨ (I was gonna use already existing ones for the ATYD series but i assumed taking people's art is still frowned upon so i had to get creative lol)

my favs are probably the "Delicate" covers & "Out Of The Blue" from ATYD. The "Crimson Rivers" one lacks bc I've literally never read it but i have read The Hunger Games so i tried to give it that vibe
