Tbh I'm a little confused on what "The Dangerous Gift" was? Like.. I thought it was the gift of vision but that wasn't "dangerous" in any way~ especially after you learn about what it actually is

I heard an audio from an animation (below) and wanted to animate something to it as well. Super quick and lazy storyboard sketch of Turtle in the Prologue of Talons of Power. It’s like as if he has a moment of panic and imagines the Orca statue talking to him.

CHASM IS SO CUTE I wanna know more about himmmm

Aaahh thank you so much!! I love my handsome man :’D And I can share some more info about him for sure! 

He and his family are middle class SeaWings, farmers who live more towards the outskirts of the kingdom near the coast where they raise crabs, oysters, and other seafoods to sell to families, including the royal family. Their family is rather extensive, all living on their farm, consisting of Chasm’s parents Maritime and Leviathan, his older brother Frigate and his wife Pelagic, and their grandmother Porpoise. 

His older brother, Frigate, like to tease and push Chasm around but he’s a really fun and sweet guy who’d defend his brother to the bitter end. The two of them were conscripted to serve in the royal army during the War of SandWing Succession and the pair of them were pretty inseparable until the war’s end. 

Frigate is boisterous and confident, and perhaps a bit loud and always ready for a fight. He’s a powerhouse but also a big softy at the same time. He’s not the absolute smartest but he can take orders and execute them without fault! The brothers kept each other alive during the war, and even more so Frigate helped Chasm keep his secrets.

That secret being Skrike. A SandWing Chasm met during the war, and couldn’t stop thinking about. She served closely under Princess Blister, relaying messages between her and Queen Coral as well as being a general scout/spy during the war. Shrike and Chasm met during one of Blister and Coral’s many meetings and eventually they began to meet rather regularly when they could. Shrike was always worried of them being found out given Blister’s intolerance of the mixing of different dragons, but Chasm was rather insistent despite the dangers~

Once the war was over they of course they chose to be together. Chasm’s parents took some convincing as they weren’t the biggest fans of SandWings, Blister in particular, so Shrike being one of Blister’s spies was a hard point to convince but they eventually warmed up to her and welcomed her into the family with open wings! The two of them live on the beach near Chasm’s family farm, where they built a home for themselves where Shrike could still have the sun and sand and Chasm was never too far from the sea.

Semi-recent colored in sketches of Scarlet and Winter.

With Scarlet I like to imagine that her melted face has blisters and her skin sags off. It has a sort of leathery-texture. Not only this but her right ear was completely eaten away by the venom.

I don’t have much to say about Winter other than the fact that I always imagined IceWings as resembling polar bears. They have more robust snouts and rounder, smaller ears.

Decided to draw the Dragonets of Destiny and color them in as in the Graphic Novel. Surprisingly enough I really like the colors for Starflight.

Redrew a drawing which I titled ‘The Love Triangle’ or some weird shit because those three characters were being shipped with each other (until Moonbli became cannon or something but nah nah. Still love me some Qinter).
