Got this cute little cabinet from the goodwill the other day. I saw it at the store two days ago and couldn't stop thinking about it. It was $9.99, so I know it wouldn't break the bank. But I decided to leave it there and went home. I couldn't stop thinking about it and called the store right before closing. The guy who picked up the phone told me it wasn't there anymore, but something inside told me that it was still there. So I went the next day and it was there!! :) I took it home and it fits perfectly in my kitchen. I store all my cookbooks in there and my husband puts his coffee and filters on there :) Goodwill price: $9.99

Bought this mid century console from the goodwill 5 months ago. Funny story, I didn't have room in my car that day to take it home with me. So I decided to pick it up the next day. While I was standing next to it, a man was eyeing my console and asked me if I was interested in this piece. I told him that I already purchased it and was picking it up today. I paid $29.99. He offered to take it off my hands for $40. Wow... Couldn't believe it! I didn't know what a great find I found until I searched online. One of these pieces online range from $1000-$4000!! I just love this piece! I also bought this folding chair made out of bamboo. I had such an awesome shopping day at the goodwill! I found this antique piano swivel stool for $24.99. It has four claw feet with glass balls. At first I though it was a bar stool but when I looked online i found it was a piano stool! My husband was so happy that I found this great find! He loves music and he said the only time he saw something like this was in a history book :) I brought it in the house, gave it a good wipe with a wet rag, and decided that it would look nice as a side table.

About 6 months ago, I was in need of a coffee table badly! There was one at SAMs club for $250 that my husband was willing to buy me for my birthday, but I told him that I would rather take the $250 in cash because the money would stretch much more at the goodwill :) So one of the first things I bought with my birthday money was this coffee table with raised edges. It was really unique and so I bought it. We have been using this coffee table for 6 months and it has been working out fine, however I felt it wasn't a perfect fit for my living room. I needed a bigger coffee table with some drawers. This week my wish came true! I saw this big wooden coffee table with two levels and one huge drawer. I couldn't resist! I bought it and I am so happy that I did!! Now I have a place to store the tv remotes, pens, paperwork, etc. I have more work space and I can store things on the bottom shelf. Bonus!! I think it looks 100% better in this room. The old coffee table is sitting in the garage. Trying to figure out what I should do with it. I love this room! This is the room that started my love for the goodwill! In May of 2013, my cousin asked if she could stay with us a couple days a week since we lived close to her work. Of course I was excited but a little stressed because since I have lived in this house, we have never decorated our loft area. As I was bringing some items to donate to the goodwill, I decided to see if I could find anything to help me decorate and fill up our loft for my cousin. And that is where it all began! I found the nightstand, the rocker, the vanity mirror, and wicker chair from the goodwill. :) And ever since that day I have been buying things from there at least once a week. Goodwill price: Vanity mirror: $14.99 Rocker: $19.99 Nightstand: $9.99 Wicker chair: $4.99 My value: cousins excitement and my happiness that we finally have a guest room!
