Little facts about the desert tower/house/thingy that I remembered

furniture!!! No regular chairs, we had stools. Also sofas! We did have sofas, they just had loke a gap at the back for grians wings (does that make sense??) We did have separate beds, grians was basically a big disk of cushion, big enough for his wings to spread out fully if he's on one edge. (Also big enough for another person if they snuggle. Big bonus.) Open windows. None of the windows had glass and a lot of them where big enough for grian to fly into/out of if he tucked his wings in a little. We had a specific area where we'd like go with all the stuff to preen his wings and stuff.

Now for stuff that's different depending on what version of me you're talking about

Uh for vexling me, it was basically the same as whay I just described, basically no additional accommodation for me specifically.

For kitty centaur me, there was some stuff however. For example the preening room area thingy I mentioned earlier, also had stuff to groom my fur. The doorways where taller and wider than normal doors. My bed was slanted, because that avoided strain on my body and scars, although I did still often sleep in grians bed so uh yeah lots of muscle pain and angry injuries from improper sleeping position. Also scratching posts. It helped keep my claws sharp.

I’m a Grian kin and I relate to you so much in not knowing what to call that relationship. In my memories it was so complicated, it worked for us but there’s not really a word for somebody like that. Nothing feels “right”.

I know so many grians yet like idk which one is my grian. Technically I have three grians out there (cuz uh kitty centaur, vexling, and ddvau) but like out of all the grians I know im not sure if any of them are even my grian?? I mean sure there's like a couple that might be my grian but like we haven't talked about specifically kin memories like in detail enough to know for sure

This isn't something I like talking about, but it's an important point. I like my wings well enough, but there were so many times that it felt that they were only there to be used as some sort of penance. So many times I had seriously considered pinioning them, or just straight up cutting them off. Guilt related, mainly, feeling I didn't deserve them after everything I had done (especially towards causing Scar's deaths and stuff)

Maybe I still don't deserve them.

(I know that Scar - or at least the Scar I know - @goodkinswithscar wouldn’t agree tho lol)
