Shadowhunters at least lasted a few years to flesh the characters and the world building out, but the story was nowhere near done when it was cancelled and that's what made people so mad. Vampire Academy was never properly promoted by Peacock like all their other originals were, it deserved way better than what it got and had an excellent cast that deserved better. Netflix shows have to be breaking records to be renewed these days, FTWS was never properly promoted & never given the proper number of episodes per season to flesh the story out either.

my really specific taste in media is apparently modern fantasy shows canceled too soon.
