Oh man, has there been a lot going on or what? First off, I made a website:

Still haven’t bought my own domain, but this will do for now.

Second, I’ve been posting a lot on my shop lately. A lot of the work I’ve been doing recently is small scale and design-oriented in nature, and I’m really excited about how it’s looking on different products. 

My graphic novel continues to come along slowly, but I’m feeling good about it. I need to get a proper angled desk though, because my neck is perpetually killing me lately. 

I’m also going to be trying to update this blog more regularly. I’ve finished all of my grad school applications, so I’m going to have a lot more free time for the next couple of months, so my intention is to spend that time focusing on my art as much as possible, soooo yay

(Almost) Inktober

Between work and other projects (with actual deadlines) I unfortunately didn’t have time for the one-drawing-per-day thing this year. However, I set my own schedule, and aimed for an extra (non-commissioned, non-deadlined, specifically for Inktober) drawing a week. So here is my contribution (however small).

Ahhh the content of this blog is now organized by year (that art was created, not posted). There are links on the page and everything. It’s crazy and makes me realize just how old some pieces are that don’t feel old at all, and it also makes me incredibly aware of how much my work has changed in the last three years. 

In other news, I’m going to be working on building a website. Updates on that/links will be posted on here later =D

I have officially been accepted to Savannah College of Art and Design's MFA Sequential Art program, beginning the Fall 2016 semester. This is surreal, and wonderful, and I’m on a train and I keep crying.

This is actually really old - it was one of the first multi-page narrative pieces I illustrated, and it’s really weird revisiting it now. My main focus when I started this project was on figuring out how I wanted to move the story though space... I work pretty differently from this now, but there are still definitely things that I like about it. 

I may post more of it over time? Not sure if I want to devote too much space on this blog to such old work, but if I decide to continue this piece at some point, I’ll probably post the rest of the older pages in the mean time.
