In the midst of the summer, was the day the double date had been agreed upon 3 weeks prior, Satoru had just woken up. He grabbed his phone and upon grazing over the image of Waka Inoue he paused to look at the time, which was 2:33 PM.

The boy had taken in a few moments to process it but suddenly flung out of bed and towards his closet to pick out his clothes.

"Bastard!! Why didn't he wake me up?!" Quickly trying to take off whatever he had on and nervously, actually very aggressively get dressed. He pushed up his pants in light speed and slid into a grey shirt, grabbing his socks and grunting in frustration as he pushes it up his foot all the way to his ankle. He grabbed the watch and slapped it on his wrist before quickly spraying on three different colonges, grabbing his phone quickly getting his shoes on and sprinting out the building while dialing sugurus number.

Suguru was at the bus stop standing next to a mother who had her toddler sitting beside her, an old woman and a caretaker, or something like that.

Suddenly he hears his phone buzzing thinking it must be Satoru and that hes somewhere nearby. But upon pulling it out and answering him-

"Satoru wh-"

"WHYDIDNTYOUWAKEMEUPOUKNOWISTAYEDUPALLNIGHTISLEPTINANDGOTREADYIN16MINUTESDOYOUKNOWIALMOSTBROKEMYNECKGETTINGOUTOFBEDFORTHISSUGURU-"

It was a sound that was bound to bust your eardrums.

Everyone had turned their heads towards Suguru. The mother clutched her son to cover his ears, the caretaker looked terrified and even the old lady heard everything aswell.

Suguru's eyes widened as he quickly got up to walk away and talk to the still yelling satoru. Honestly it was even more impressive how he's not out of breath.

"You're not even on speaker and everyone beside me heard you calm d-"

"IHAVENTEVENDONEMYHAIRPROPERLYSUGU-"

"I SAID CALM DOWN."

His voice echoed down the street. And the people at the bus stop were even more terrified.

"Its still 3 PM you can make it to the arcade in time. Also you were the one that told me not to wake you up because you would set an alarm."

"I said that"

"Yea."

"WHYD YOU BELIEVE ME?!"

"Oh my God."

Before getting into another yelling match the bus had arrived.

"I'll meet you at the arcade. My bus is here." He swiftly shut his flip phone or however you describe it and quickly got on the bus. For some reason his row and two others behind him were completely empty.

Satoru had taken the taxi to where the arcade was and was trying to fix his hair. Alongside tying his shoes because he almost tripped down the stairs while yelling, you could imagine how the people around him were feeling getting to witness him do this live.

The taxi driver scrunched his nose getting a whiff of Satorus colonge. Which was a disgustingly strong combination.

The ride lasted about 10 minutes and Satoru got out of the Taxi. He turned to pay him but the man was catching his breathe reaching out a shaking hand to accept what he owes him.

And then almost instantly driving off.

'That was odd.' Thought Satoru. 'Oh well.' He shrugged off the interaction and walked down the road to where the arcade was, there he saw Suguru waiting for him. He doesn't look pleased.

"Where are the others?"

Suguru turned to him but before answering him he was a bit taken back by the scent Satoru was giving off.

"Well they'll be here in a few minutes. Shoko said she was picking Utahime up."

"How charming."

A few moments later Shoko and Utahime emerged and approached Satoru and Suguru.

"I hope we didn't keep you two waiting for long." Said shoko

"Not at a-"

"What are you guys waiting for? Lets go in already I've been burning in the sun waiting for you two to get here."
