What to Write in your Journal to Move on
When we are struggling with something traumatic, or something we experienced that it’s hard to get beyond, writing things down in a journal can help. Here are some suggestions of what to write about:
1. A description of what happened.
2. How it left you feeling.
3. Who was there and what they said and did.
4. What you wish had happened instead.
5. The reasons why you find it hard to let go.
6. Small steps you could take to start to move on.
