Note
HI, BESTIE 💛
You know I absolutely love and adore your fics/prompts, so it means the world to me that you say you would like to listen to my ideas 🙏🏻 My head is filled with Taylor Swift’s latest album and Hu Tao, therefore here are some ideas for you if you would like to accept them haha. You can change or develop them however you like as you listen to our queen <3 Just make sure you have fun with it, that’s the most important thing :D
(I can see you)
Not exactly like in the song, but hear me out: Reader got the crush on Hu Tao, and Hu Tao sees that clearly. And she asks herself what would the reader do if she starts to reciprocate it? So she starts to leave a sudden touch on their skin, or speaking more freely when they are alone, teasing the reader in the process and enjoying their reactions >:)
(Electric touch)
Hu Tao’s got the date with the reader, and as we know Hu Tao’s reputation in the town, not many people exactly like her. So, this moment is very important for her as finally someone shows her affection, and she prepares and hopes this will go well, cause this date “could either break her heart or bring it back to life”. Some bitter-sweetness <3
(Timeless)
THIS SONG IS SO DAMN SWEET, AND I AM FEELY, SO ;-; Fluff of the reader and Hu Tao gashing that they would love each other in different time periods, falling in love no matter what and growing old together. You get the idea, TS connoisseur, just lots of FLUFF HEHEHE >:3
Timeless
Characters: Hu Tao x F!Reader. Soulmate AU.
Warnings: Mentions of war, battles and death. Hurt/Comfort. Epistolary. 14k words.
Notes: Happy birthday again my dearest friend and thank you for this wonderful set of ideas. I will write the others down, but for now I hope you enjoy this one <3
“WHAT I’M HEARING IS YOU DON’T LOVE ME anymore and you don’t care if I die of loneliness!”
Startled from your half-slumber, you turn your face to meet your love, Hu Tao, who’s laying beside you on the bed. Her crimson eyes are wide, brimming with theatrical despair. You chuckle.
“Hu Tao, I’ve only said we need to stop cuddling, I have to go to work.”
"Aww... But it's not time to get out of bed yet. We need to cuddle and snuggle, or else we might be apart too long for me to bear~"
Hu Tao implores. She wraps her arms tightly around you, her body clinging tightly to yours as her lips press against your neck. And you can’t help but surrender to her affection. Your head nestled deeper into the warmth of the sheets, Hu Tao's face buried in the crook of your shoulder, her gentle hum echoing softly against your skin. Your fingers trace tender circles in her hair, drinking in the soothing rhythm of the moment.
“I would love nothing more than to stay with you, but—”
Hu Tao interrupts with a playful pout, "Then stay, come on! Just a little longer? You can go to work later, right? Hehe, I'm sure there'll be no one there who'll miss you enough to get in trouble. Just stay with me for a little while longer~""
You tenderly caress her cheek, stealing a swift kiss on her beautiful button nose before gently unwrapping her from your warm arms.
“No can do! I have that work trip I told you about, remember? It’s Friday today, so I will be out for the weekend, and I can’t lose my morning train.”
"Tch! How dare you break free from me! I'll... I'll... I'll bite your arm off!" As Hu Tao speaks, she playfully begins to nibble at your arm like a cat. In a mock-frustrated tone, she continues to speak. "Fiiiine! Just go on your stupid work trip. I guess I can't keep you here forever... But the second you get back, I'm not letting you out of my sight~"
Your lips curl into an affectionate smile as you gently stroke the side of her face with your thumb, your voice dripping with playfulness.
“Is that a promise?”
Instead of responding, Hu Tao leans forward to kiss your thumb. With a sly grin, she looks at you with playful, mischievous eyes.
“It's a promise! So don't worry about me while you're gone, okay? Just because I can't follow you, doesn't mean I'll be easy to forget." Her ember eyes soften as she turns her focus back on you. "How about you give a kiss to this terribly lonely wife before you go? Pretty please~"
With her request hanging in the air, Hu Tao leans in even closer, her arms circling your neck, tight and eagerly. Your fingers gently cup her face, a warm smile blooming on your lips.
“Anything for my dramatic wife.”
Hu Tao, entirely too delighted, draws herself in closer to you, pressing her body against yours, her heart brimming with happiness.
"Oh, you know just what to say~"
Hu Tao leans her head back, her bright red eyes closing as she waits with anticipation of your touch. Your kiss is one that is both calming and comforting, as an affectionate smile blooms in her pretty face. Her lips part for you, as she draws closer and presses her lips against yours. Her hand rises to your hair, her fingers running through your locks and holding you ever so gently.
Her lips meet with yours, your tongues wrapping around each other as she presses deeper into the kiss. She pulls herself away from your lips, her breath quickening as you part.
As you and Hu Tao reluctantly start to pull apart from one another, her teasing voice fills the space between you once again.
"Didn’t you say something about not wanting to miss your train? Are you going to stand there like a statue staring at me, or should I kick you out?"
Hu Tao whispers teasingly, her crimson eyes opening as you two part.
A chuckle leaves your lips, and you nod in agreement.
“You’re right. I guess I’ll be taking my leave now.” You give her one last sweet kiss goodbye, all too short to your liking. You wink. “Don’t miss me too much.”
Hu Tao, still holding you close, can’t help but smile.
"I'm your wife, of course I'm going to miss you! When you get back here, you owe me a very long cuddle session to make up for this weekend, hehe. Have a fun trip, my love~" Hu Tao lifts your chin gently, drawing your lips toward hers for another goodbye kiss. Her hands slide along the back of your neck. She whispers into your ear with a touch of playfulness, "Don't you dare forget about me~"

.
IN LIYUE, THE CHARMING TOWN NESTLED between rolling hills and lush forests, Hu Tao finds herself walking in her evening stroll. She cheerfully looks around as she walks, her curious and adventurous soul with an insatiable thirst for knowledge about the past is irremediably in love with this city, above all things; the town she calls home is known for its rich history, after all, and it harbors unveiled mysteries that have been there for generations, yet to be discovered. That’s why, on this fine evening, with the sun casting a golden glow over the cobblestone streets, Hu Tao decides to explore the town's hidden gems.
As she strolls along, she finds an antique shop she hadn’t seen before. The store’s weathered sign reads "The Timekeeper's Trinkets”, and Hu Tao can’t resist the pull of curiosity that tugs at her chest. She comes in.
Pushing the creaky door open, Hu Tao is greeted by the musty scent of old books and polished wood. The shop's owner, an elderly man with twinkling eyes and a long white beard, smiles warmly at her from behind the counter. He had been reading a thick leather book that looks all too dusty and worn.
"Welcome, young one.”
He says in a soft voice. Hu Tao can’t help but feel that this man seems to hold secrets of his own.
“Good morning to you, sir!”
Hu Tao smiles brightly at him, but she is immediately drawn to the eclectic collection of artifacts scattered throughout the shop. Ancient maps hang on the walls, delicate porcelain dolls peer out from glass cabinets, and dusty books sit upon worn shelves, waiting to share their stories.
As she explores around excitedly, a small, ornate box catches her eye. The sign says, Photos: Twenty-five cents each. The box seems to hum with a faint energy, as if it held a tale of its own. Curiosity gets the better of Hu Tao, as it often does, and she can’t help but ask the old shopkeeper about it.
"That, my dear, is a Timekeeper's Box." He says with a knowing smile, larger than life. "Legend has it that it can reveal glimpses of the past to those with pure hearts and open minds."
Hu Tao nods to his words, pensive.
Can something like that even be real?
As she lifts the lid, a photograph of a radiant bride from the 1930s catches her eye. Next to her, another bride smiles knowingly at her companion. The bride's eyes sparkle with joy, and her smile illuminates the entire frame. Hu Tao can’t help but feel a strange familiarity with the woman in the picture. It is as if the bride's happiness resonates deep within her own heart, her face in the picture familiar and faded with the veil of time.
Huh?
It almost feels like…
As she gazes at the photograph more intently, a realization washes over her, sinking into her bones like midnight rain. She sees more than just two brides from the past; she sees the essence of love captured in that single moment— A love profound and genuine, transcending the means of time, laced with a familiarity all too close to Hu Tao’s chest to ignore. She wonders if such a love can truly exist, the kind that defies the limitations of the mortal realm.
And why does her mind feel like it’s on the verge of something?
A dream.
A memory.
Hu Tao turns the photo around. Behind the picture, there’s a letter attached to it, worn by the passing of time. Hu Tao unwraps it and reads it.

To my cherished Hu Tao, Feb. 1768
Can you believe how far we've journeyed together? From those carefree days of six-year-old innocence, clutching our satchels as we embarked on our first day of school, to this surreal moment when we stand side by side, radiant in our wedding gowns, about to pledge our lives to one another.
Through the laughter and tears, triumphs, and setbacks, you've been my rock, my confidant, and my partner in mischief. Oh, the memories we've created! From chasing butterflies in the meadows to sneaking out for moonlit adventures, our hearts have forever been intertwined.
As we step into this new chapter of our lives, I can't help but marvel at the twists of fate that brought us here. Who could have imagined that the little girls who held hands on that first day of school would one day become young women, ready to embark on a journey of love and commitment?
I cherish every moment we've shared, and I eagerly anticipate the adventures that await us as we venture into married life together. With you by my side, I know there's nothing we can't overcome.
Here's to the cherished memories of our past and the countless memories we'll create in the years to come.
I love you more than words can express, but you already know that!
.
.
WITH TREMBLING HANDS, Hu Tao stares at the note behind the photograph.
That’s your handwriting.
It’s unmistakable to her. She’s read your words, seen you writing time and time again. The grocery list, love poems for her, Hu Tao could recognize the shape of your words by heart. And there was her name there, too.
Like you wrote this letter for her…
In 1768?
That doesn’t make any sense. It can’t be.
She sets aside the picture and explores the other photographs inside the box, her heart beating just a bit faster.
The next one shows a young couple, their school days long behind them, laughing joyfully on the porch of what Hu Tao understands is their first house. Their eyes hold a shared history, a bond built on years of companionship and support.
Hu Tao feels a swell of emotion as she gazes at the couple. Again. This strange feeling. Their faces are all too familiar for her shaken heart. The love they shared is evident in every line on their factions and every touch of their hands. It is the kind of love that endured life's trials and grew stronger with each passing year.
The photograph is attached to a letter, folded with care, although the weight of the years has dented its edges and neatness.
And yet again, there it is. Your handwriting, clear as day. She reads it.

To my lovely girlfriend Hu Tao, May 1931
I'm positively thrilled to be writing this note to you after the most enchanting night of my life. Our first prom together was like stepping into a fairytale, and you were the charming princess who stole my heart!
As we sat on the porch of our new house, laughing and giggling like the next day would never come, I felt a warmth in my heart that I've never known before. Being with you feels so right, like we were meant to find each other in this beautiful corner of the world.
Your laughter, like a beautiful melody, echoes in my mind, and I can't help but smile at the thought of it. It's in these moments with you that I feel truly alive, like nothing else matters but the happiness we share!
Last night, you were simply stunning in your prom dress, and I couldn't help but feel so lucky to have you by my side. Your being here makes everything brighter, and I can only be drawn to you like a magnet.
I want you to know, my lovely girlfriend, that you mean the world to me. Your friendship, your love, and your understanding fill my heart with such joy. I'm grateful beyond words for the bond we share and for the home we've begun building together.
Thank you for being the light in my life, for making me laugh, and for being the person I can be my true self around. You are my confidant, my best friend, and my one true love. I'm head over heels for you, and I can't wait for the countless adventures that await us. And the beautiful wedding we will have some day when we’re older.
Unfortunately for you, I’m yours forever!

THOUGH THE PHOTOGRAPH SHOWS people from an era that’s pretty much bygone by now, this one from 1931, Hu Tao can’t shake the feeling that she sees herself and you in those loving gestures, in those moments in time that belong to someone else. It is as if the Timekeeper's Box had tapped into a deeper truth, revealing a connection that transcended time and space.
That is your handwriting.
That is her name.
These are your faces.
Hu Tao’s breath catches in her throat.
“Hey, sir…” She seeks the shopkeeper, her voice hitched. “Can I take these home? I’ll pay you, of course.”
She buys the photographs and the letters. Before she leaves the shop altogether, she hears the shopkeeper’s voice again. The old man speaks intently, his wise eyes twinkling with understanding.
"Time is not as linear as we perceive it, kid." He says gently. "Some connections are so powerful that they echo throughout the ages, finding resonance in the hearts of kindred spirits. Keep that in mind."
Hu Tao leaves the shop, her heart beating rapidly against her chest.

ZHONGLI AND HU TAO ARE SITTING ACROSS from each other in the cozy tea room of Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. It’s Saturday, but the Parlor is still bustling with activity. And as much as Hu Tao would love to stay home and go through all the mysterious photographs and letters from the Timekeeper’s box, she’s the director of the Funeral Parlor first and foremost. She has work to do.
After a cup of tea, of course.
The room is filled with the aroma of tea and incense, setting the perfect ambiance for the discussion they were having.
Hu Tao, energetic as ever, leans forward eagerly, her eyes glinting in the bright room.
"Mister Zhongli, tell me all about the latest sales report. How has the business been doing?"
Zhongli, calm and composed as always, takes a sip of his tea before responding, his voice quiet and tranquil like a lake.
"The Funeral Parlor has been thriving, as expected. In the last quarter, we saw a significant increase in both cremation and burial services."
Hu Tao's eyes widen. "Really? That's great news! Do you think it's because of the new marketing strategy we implemented?"
Zhongli nods. "Indeed. Your marketing campaigns have been highly effective in reaching a wider audience. Our services are being recognized not just in Liyue Harbor but also in nearby regions."
Hu Tao grins, clearly proud of her work.
"I knew those flashy pamphlets and catchy slogans would work! Oh, and I must mention the special event we organized for the Ghost Month. The souls in the realm of spirits loved it!"
Zhongli chuckles softly. "Yes, they did. It's quite remarkable how you have managed to connect with the spirits and boost their morale. You have a unique talent, Director Hu Tao."
Hu Tao blushes slightly at the praise, smiling brightly like she does.
"Well, it's all in a day's work for the director of Wangsheng Funeral Parlor! But tell me more, what about the latest numbers for funeral processions?"
Zhongli adjusts his glasses before continuing, "Funeral processions have seen a steady increase, and that's not all. Our embalming services have also witnessed a surge. It seems that people are beginning to understand the importance of preserving the memories of their loved ones."
"I'm glad. Preserving memories is what we do best, isn't it?” Hu Tao's expression softens. “It brings comfort to those who have lost someone dear."
Zhongli nods in agreement. "Indeed, it does. Your dedication to your role and your profound understanding of the human emotions surrounding death and remembrance have contributed significantly to the Funeral Parlor's success."
Hu Tao looks at her friend with a mixture of admiration and mischief.
"And what about our dear Mister Zhongli? I've heard some whispers that you've become quite the popular consultant for funerary matters."
“I have been assisting some clients with their burial arrangements.” Zhongli can’t help but smile faintly. “My knowledge and experience in ancient rites have proven useful to them."
Hu Tao playfully nudges Zhongli's arm.
"You're just being modest. I bet they're fascinated by you! The ex-Geo Archon turned funeral consultant, it's quite the unique selling point! Although we keep it a secret. I know, I know~"
Zhongli chuckles. "Perhaps it is, but my focus remains on providing the best possible service to our clients. The Funeral Parlor's reputation is of utmost importance."
"You're right.” Hu Tao nods, seriously now. “And speaking of reputations, I've been hearing more rumors about the newly implemented post-Geo Archon fares in Liyue Harbor. People are excited about the changes."
"The people of Liyue have always had a deep connection with Rex Lapis.” Zhongli's eyes glimmer with nostalgia. “However, I do consider it a gratifying outcome to see them outgrow the need of a higher power to achieve their goals."
“It was about time we learned to live without you around, old man!” Hu Tao smiles playfully. “Not in the Funeral Parlor, of course. I still need you here to help me, hehe.”
“And that I will, Director.” Zhongli bows slightly. “As a matter of fact, it is time I go back to tending to my duties. I shall leave you to finish your tea in peace.”
When Zhongli leaves, Hu Tao takes some documents from her desk to work on them. She quickly grows disinterested, truthfully. Her crimson eyes fly to the box she bought from the antique shop. That, for some reason, she felt the need to bring with her to work. She opens it, taking a couple of letters in her hand. And yet again, there it is. Your handwriting, the letters faded with the weight of the years. Her heart clenches in her chest.
She begins reading.

My Dearest girlfriend Hu Tao, Dec. 1844
As I sit here beneath the starry sky, surrounded by the darkness of the night, my heart longs for you, my love. The echoes of war may be deafening, and the days filled with uncertainty, but amidst it all, your love remains my guiding light, illuminating the path back to you.
These days on the battlefield are filled with challenges and hardships, but your love gives me the strength to carry on. When the sounds of gunfire and explosions pierce the air, it is thoughts of you that keep me grounded, reminding me of the love we share, transcending time and distance.
The memory of your touch lingers in my mind, the warmth of your embrace like a gentle embrace even in the coldest of nights. Your laughter echoes in my heart, filling my days with hope and joy, even when the world around me seems so bleak. It is your love that fuels my determination to persevere, to fight for a better future, where we can be together once more.
Oh, how I miss the simple pleasures we once took for granted— Strolling hand in hand through the park, sharing a stolen kiss under the moonlight, and whispering sweet nothings in each other's ears. Each moment spent with you was a treasure, and I cherish every memory we created together.
In the midst of this chaos, I often find myself reaching for the small memento you gave me before I left. It's a reminder of our love, a tangible symbol of the bond we share. It stays close to my heart, just as you do, providing me comfort in the darkest hours.
Please know that, even amidst the struggles and battles, you are always with me. Your love has become my shield, protecting me from fear and doubt. I hold onto the hope that one day soon, the war will be behind us, and we can build a life together, free from the shadows of conflict.
Until that day comes, my love, know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers. I eagerly await the moment when I can return to your loving arms and finally be home.
Love you always.
.
.
SO IN THIS MOMENT IN TIME you were in the war, it seems. A letter you had written during a time of war, a heartfelt message meant to bridge the chasm of separation between you and her. And Hu Tao pictures it, you being on the battlefield, waiting for letters that might never come, fearing the worst, watching the seasons change, the weight of time passing, all the while not knowing if you’d made it home to her. Tears gather in Hu Tao’s eyes, clutching the letter to her chest.
She continues reading the following letter, dated months after.

My Dearest girlfriend Hu Tao, Feb. 1945
As I sit here in this distant and foreign land, my heart swells with joy and anticipation. I have received the most incredible news– I will be coming home to you next Fall. The mere thought of holding you in my arms again, feeling your warmth, and seeing your beautiful smile has ignited a renewed sense of purpose within me.
These days of being far away from you have been challenging, but your love and unwavering support have been my guiding light. Your letters and words of encouragement have given me the strength to face each day with determination and courage. In the darkest moments, your love has been a source of comfort and inspiration, reminding me of the life we will build together once this chapter of my life is behind me.
I want you to know that my commitment to making it home to you has only grown stronger. No matter the obstacles, I will fight with all my might to return to your loving embrace. You are my anchor, my motivation, and the reason I push through every hardship that comes my way. Your love gives me the courage to face the dangers of war and the longing to overcome any challenges that stand between us.
As Fall approaches, my heart races with excitement. I imagine the joyous reunion, the warmth of our love enveloping us, and the new memories we will create together. It's the promise of our future that fuels my determination, driving me forward during the difficult days and nights.
I want you to know that while I may be far from home, my heart remains with you. Every step I take, every mission I complete, and every breath I draw is a step closer to you. The countdown has begun, and I can hardly wait to be by your side once more.
In the meantime, please take care of yourself and know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers. I will cherish every moment we spent together in my heart and draw strength from those memories. Until we meet again, remember that I love you more than words can express, and I promise to return to you as soon as I can. I will see you soon, my love.
Yours always and forever.

HU TAO’S HEART ACHES as she reads the words —Your words?— and she hopes you made it home alright in the end. There’s one more letter. Oh, but something is different this time.
It’s not your handwriting but hers.
This is a letter she wrote, all those years ago. Hu Tao swallows and starts reading, her chest beating hard against the cage of her ribs inside.

To my precious beloved, Sept. 1945
As the morning sun gently kisses your sleeping form, I find myself filled with immense gratitude and love. Having you here, in our home, after all those long months of separation, feels like a dream come true. Last night we spent the hours wrapped in each other's arms after you finally came back home. It was nothing short of magical, and I wanted to let you rest a little longer while I tiptoed downstairs to prepare a special breakfast for us.
Seeing you lying there, peaceful and content, warms my heart like nothing else. I want this feeling to last forever, and I promise to do all that I can to make every moment we spend together just as wonderful.
As you wake up to find yourself alone in the bed, I want you to know that there's nothing to be scared of. I'm just downstairs, making delicious food to start our day off right. I didn't want to disturb your rest after all you've been through.
Being reunited with you after your service has been an incredible blessing, and I'm cherishing every second we have together. Our love has stood the test of distance and time, and I can't help but marvel at the strength of our bond.
I want you to take all the time you need to freshen up and embrace the comfort of home. When you're ready, come downstairs, and we'll enjoy a delightful breakfast together. There will be plenty of warm pancakes, fresh fruit, and your favorite coffee waiting for you.
Once we've had our meal, we can plan the day ahead– Whether it's taking a leisurely walk in the park, reading our favorite books, or simply staying inside and relishing each other's company.
My love, thank you for your bravery, your dedication, and your sacrifice. You are my hero, and I am beyond proud of everything you've done. Now that you're here, safe and sound, I will do my best to make each day as special as you are.
Remember, I'm just a heartbeat away, and I'll be eagerly waiting for you downstairs with open arms and a heart full of love.
Yours always and forever, Hu Tao.

HU TAO CAN ALMOST FEEL the tears gathered in her eyes at the happy reunion. It seems like you both were alright in this lifetime.
She thinks of you making your way back to her, overcoming the challenges of war and distance, and finally, after what felt like an eternity, coming home to her. She pictures the moment when you would walk through the door, your weary but smiling face, and the warmth of your embrace after so long apart, and she has to blink to prevent the tears from falling down her cheeks.
Just then, the door to her office opens quietly.
"Director Hu Tao, may I have a moment of your time?"
Zhongli asks with his usual composed demeanor, and Hu Tao looks up, her eyes softening at the sight of her friend, blinking her tears away, placing the letters away on her wooden desk.
"Of course, Mr. Zhongli. What can I help you with?"
Zhongli takes a seat across from Hu Tao and leans forward slightly.
"As you know, my presence in Liyue Harbor has been attracting some attention. I have received a request from a family that seeks assistance from the Funeral Parlor."
Hu Tao's interest is piqued. "Oh? What kind of assistance do they need?"
"The family has recently lost their patriarch, and they wish to hold a memorial service in his honor," Zhongli explains. "Given the circumstances and the importance of the deceased, they desire a traditional and solemn ritual."
Hu Tao nods thoughtfully. "I understand. We'll need to make all the necessary arrangements to ensure the service is carried out with the utmost respect and reverence. I will be right there."
She sets the letters further aside, carefully tucking them inside the box, and follows Zhongli outside of her office.
.
.
LATER THAT DAY, THE GENTLE SEA BREEZE swirls through the bustling streets of Liyue Harbor, carrying the aroma of freshly cooked dishes and the sounds of merchants hawking their wares. Hu Tao is making her way downtown after work hours have ended, the Timekeeper’s box carefully tucked in her bag, when she bumps into her dear friend, the Traveler from another world.
"Hu Tao! Fancy seeing you here!"
Lumine beams, her sunset eyes delighted by the unexpected encounter. And Hu Tao's eyes sparkle with excitement, too.
"Lumine! It's been ages! How are your adventures going?"
Lumine chuckles lightly. "They're going well, always keeping me on my toes. You know how it goes.”
“It’s such good fortune that I would run into you today.” Hu Tao says, smiling. “I have something fascinating to talk about, and I would love to hear your thoughts. Come with me!"
She exclaims, tugging Lumine's arm and leading her towards a quiet corner near the harbor. Curious, Lumine follows her friend.
They find a bench overlooking the harbor, the salty breeze ruffling their hair as they settle in together. The bustling harbor of Liyue, a cacophony of sounds and a vibrant tapestry of colors behind them, the ships from all over Teyvat docking and departing as Lumine leans to Hu Tao, curiosity drawn over her features.
"What's got you so excited?"
She asks, her golden eyes filled with curiosity. Hu Tao retrieves the small, intricately decorated box from her bag.
"Look at this! I found this in an antique shop called ‘The Timekeeper's Trinkets’ down the Harbor. Truthfully, I hadn’t seen it before. It had lots of things, a very eclectic collection of artifacts scattered throughout the shop, like… Ancient maps on the walls, porcelain dolls in glass cabinets, and lots of dusty books upon worn shelves. But it was this one thing that caught my eye!” Hu Tao gives it to Lumine. She watches her turn the box in her hands, staring at it intently. “It has letters and photographs inside, but what's really strange is… Well, the feeling they give me– It’s like a sense of familiarity, of sorts. Like… I know it might sound silly, but like it was me who had been photographed centuries ago. Like it was my pen that wrote these faded letters. And my wife, too…” She takes a moment. And then, “I can't help but wonder if this has anything to do with… Soulmates."
"Soulmates?" Lumine repeats with a tilt of her head, her golden hair falling over her shoulders at the motion. "Do you believe in them?"
Hu Tao stretches her arms above her head next to her and sighs dreamily.
"I can't say for certain, but I've always been fascinated by the idea! Haven’t you? The concept that two souls are destined to find each other, bound by an eternal connection. Sounds romantic and magical, doesn't it?"
Lumine nods, her expression thoughtful, her sunset eyes softening.
"It does. In my travels through different worlds, I've encountered many different beliefs and customs about soulmates, did you know? Some cultures believed in the existence of soulmates, while others didn't.” Lumine shrugs. “But what I found consistent is the longing everyone has to find someone to have a special connection with."
"That's true." Hu Tao agrees, her crimson eyes shining with curiosity. "What else have you seen in your travels? Have you ever met people who seemed like soulmates?"
Lumine leans back, reminiscing about her adventures across the various realms and ages.
"I've come across countless stories of people who believed they found their soulmates. Even across different worlds, yes.” She nods. “I’ve heard tales of star-crossed lovers whose love spanned across time and space."
Hu Tao leans forward, eager to hear more. "Tell me about one of those stories! I want to believe in soulmates, even if it's just for a moment."
Lumine smiles warmly, leaning more comfortably on the bench.
"Well, there was a couple in one world who were separated by fate. They couldn't be together due to circumstances beyond their control, but they were bound by a love that transcended dimensions. Every day, they would write letters to each other, even if they couldn't send them across worlds. It was their way of feeling connected, even from afar, you know?"
"Writing letters like the ones in this box?" Hu Tao asks, holding up the container, her eyes sparkling.
Lumine nods. "Yes, exactly like that. They believed that somehow, their words would reach each other's hearts, and their love would remain eternal."
Hu Tao is entranced by the story, her imagination running wild.
"That's beautiful! It's like the kind of love that can't be contained by the boundaries of the mortal world. So romantic!"
Lumine smiles knowingly, chuckling at her excitedness.
"Yes, very. Love has a way of defying logic and reason, connecting souls in ways we may never fully understand. But that’s part of the beauty of it, isn’t it?"
Hu Tao ponders for a moment, then smiles softly.
"You know, in Liyue, we have legends that talk about an ancient and powerful bond between two souls called the 'Yunfei.' They say it's a connection that exists across time and space, guiding two souls destined to be together."
Lumine's golden eyes light up with curiosity.
"Really? Tell me more about the 'Yunfei.'"
"Legend has it that when the Yunfei find each other, they experience a magnetic attraction, as if an invisible thread draws them closer together. Their souls resonate, recognizing each other across lifetimes. Some say it's love. Others call it destiny."
Lumine smiles at her words. "That sounds both beautiful and enchanting."
“I wonder…” Hu Tao looks at the box in her hands, thinking of you. “Would I be crazy if I believed it was real? That soulmates exist?”
Lumine shakes her head, her sunset eyes set far into the horizon. Hu Tao follows her gaze and the beautiful orange of the evening sun lights up the landscape when Lumine says,
“You know, after being in world after world, each more different than the last… I don’t think anything is too crazy.”
.
.
THE PILLOWS OF THE COUCH ARE soft against Hu Tao’s back. It’s Sunday morning and she has finished her chores and morning stretches. She sits back, the antique box in her lap, and her chest beating just the faintest bit faster. She is determined to find the truth behind the mystery of the letters and photographs, and how it’s connected to the two of you.
She opens the box up and goes through the letters she’s read before, the photographs she’s seen, the others she hasn’t, and finds a stack of letters she hasn’t seen before. She takes them in her hands and dusts them off. These seem to be even more worn out than the others, the letters yellowed by the passing of the time and the edges crumbled.
She reads the first one, worded with her unmistakable handwriting.

My Dearest beloved, Jan. 1507
As the quill touches this parchment, I find myself grappling with emotions that words alone cannot contain. The weight of my heart is heavy with sorrow, for I am bound to face a future that my soul cannot bear. The time has come for me to share a truth that pains me more than any words can express.
In this age where societal norms and expectations confine our hearts to cages of convention, I find myself destined to wed a man I cannot love. The decree has been passed, and I have no say in this matter. My tears fall as I imagine a life without you, my love, a life where my heart's desires are but distant dreams.
From the moment our eyes met, and our hearts entwined, I knew a love beyond the ordinary had claimed me. Your presence, your laughter, your touch, all have become the essence of my being. To be torn from your embrace and the warmth of your love is a fate I cannot fathom without trembling.
I am but a prisoner of circumstance, forced into a union that my heart cannot accept. How I wish to stand before the world and declare my love for you openly, to defy all those who would dare to keep us apart. Alas, I am confined to the shadows, where our love must remain a secret, hidden from prying eyes.
In the darkest hours, I will clutch this letter close to my heart, for it holds the truth of my feelings for you, unyielding and eternal. No matter the path I am made to walk, know that you will forever be the love of my life, the one who set my heart ablaze with passion.
I pray that time and distance cannot erode the love we share, that fate will one day smile upon us, and we shall be free to love each other openly and without fear. Until then, my love, let this letter be a testament to the depth of my affection for you.
Yours, now and always,
Lady Hu Tao.

HU TAO LOWERS THE LETTER to her lap. In this lifetime, it seems like she was forced to marry someone she didn’t love, a life filled with duty rather than passion. She couldn't help but imagine what it would have been like to be with you in that distant past, separated by the threads of fate and rules, aching with loneliness.
The letter that follows has your unique penmanship.

My Dearest Lady Hu Tao, March, 1507
As I hold this letter in my trembling hands, tears flow freely down my cheeks, for your words have pierced my heart with both sorrow and love. Your anguish, my love, is palpable, and I wish I could ease your burden and set you free from the chains that bind us.
It pains me beyond measure to know that you are forced to walk a path not of your choosing, that you must endure a loveless union that tears you away from me. How I wish I could stand beside you, to shield you from the cruel hand of fate and to defy those who dare to keep us apart.
Though we must keep our love hidden in the shadows, know that it burns with an intensity that time cannot extinguish. You are the light that illuminates my darkest hours, the beating of my heart, and the very essence of my soul. In every whispered thought and every stolen glance, I am yours, wholly and unconditionally.
As you hold this letter close, feel the warmth of my love enveloping you, transcending the confines of distance and circumstance. We may be apart in body, but our souls are forever entwined, bound by a love that knows no bounds.
Know that I will wait, my love, for the day when we can cast away the veil of secrecy and embrace our love openly. Together, we shall overcome the trials that fate has laid before us, and we shall forge a future where our hearts can dance freely in the light of day.
Until that day dawns, let the memory of our stolen moments on moonlit nights and secret rendezvous under the stars sustain you. Draw strength from the knowledge that our love is a force to be reckoned with, an unyielding flame that will guide us back to each other.
My heart aches for you, my beloved, but take solace in the knowledge that you are not alone. I am with you in every breath you take, in every heartbeat, and in every whisper of the wind. No matter the trials we face, we will endure, for love is a force that transcends time and circumstance.
With all the love in my heart.
Yours, always.

HU TAO’S HEART IS HEAVY as she reads the words. She thinks of the emptiness that gnawed at your soul when she was not by your side, evident in the shape of your letters, illuminated by the soft glow of candlelight in the room.
The following letter is from her, dated a couple of months after.

My Dearest beloved, May, 1507
As I pen down these words, my heart feels as heavy as a stone, burdened with the weight of a love that cannot be. The night has fallen, and I am now a wife to a man I cannot love, a husband who possesses none of the tenderness and affection that reside within my heart for you.
Last night, as I stood at the altar, my eyes searched desperately for your face among the crowd. I prayed for a miracle, a sign that would spare me from this loveless fate. But fate, it seems, has other plans, and I am left to navigate a life where my heart is torn asunder.
In the company of a man who calls himself my husband, I feel a void that only your love can fill. I yearn for the sound of your laughter, the touch of your hand, and the warmth of your embrace. These memories are the bittersweet sustenance that keeps me going in this loveless existence.
Oh, how I long for the day when I can break free from these chains and be with you openly, to proclaim to the world that my heart belongs to you and you alone. In the darkest hours, I find solace in the knowledge that our love is a flame that cannot be extinguished, no matter the circumstances.
Though we must hide our love, know that you are never far from my thoughts. In the depths of night, I close my eyes and envision you beside me, your presence a comforting whisper in my ear. It is the memory of our stolen moments that keeps me going, that gives me the strength to face each day.
My beloved, I promise you this— No matter where life leads me, my heart will always belong to you. In the quiet recesses of my soul, I will hold onto the hope that one day, fate will smile upon us, and we shall be free to love each other openly and without fear.
Until that day comes, please know that I am bound to you in a love that defies the constraints of this world. You are the beacon that guides me through the darkness, the reason I wake each day with the hope that love will find a way.
Yours, now and forever,
Lady Hu Tao.

HER STOMACH RUMBLES as she continues reading through the letter. She curses the terrible timing of her hunger. Hu Tao gets up to make some food for lunch, which she eats back on the couch, nestled again between the yellowed letters, the mysterious box, your ancient love story and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
The letter is from you to her, months after.

My Dearest Lady Hu Tao, July, 1507
As I read your heart-wrenching words, tears blur the ink on this page, for the pain you endure is etched upon my soul. To know that you suffer in a loveless marriage, to know that your heart longs for me, leaves me torn between joy and despair.
In the darkness of the night, I have weighed the consequences of my actions, and I cannot bear to see you suffer any longer. My love for you burns with an intensity that defies reason, and I am willing to risk all to be by your side.
I cannot stand idle while you endure a life devoid of love and happiness. My heart tells me that you are mine, and mine alone, and I am resolved to defy any who dare to keep us apart. The thought of you in the arms of another haunts my every waking moment, and I cannot fathom a life without you.
So, with a trembling heart but a resolute spirit, I announce my intentions to march to town and challenge your husband in a duel. It is a desperate act, I know, and I risk everything —My freedom, my life— for a chance to be with you.
In this moment, I must be honest with you, my love. If I do not survive the duel, I want you to know that I would rather face eternity without you than endure a lifetime of regret and what-ifs. To have loved you, to have known your heart, is a blessing I would never trade.
But if, by some miracle, I emerge victorious, I promise you this— I will fight with every ounce of strength I possess to free you from the shackles that bind you. We shall face the world together, for love knows no boundaries, and our hearts will be united, unyielding.
Please, my beloved, do not attempt to dissuade me, for my mind is made up. My love for you is a force that cannot be contained, and I will not stand by while you suffer. I pray that fate will be kind and that we shall overcome these trials together. I love you.
Yours, now and always.

A DUEL FOR HER HAND? HU TAO FEELS her heart pick up the pace as she reads your thoughts with your beautiful and unmistakable penmanship.
When she’s about to reach for the following letter, hoping to see you made it safely alive out of the duel, somebody knocks at her door.
KNOCK! KNOCK!
Hu Tao gets up from the couch, stretching her limbs and walks up the front door, feeling unsettled. Beidou stands outside Hu Tao's house, a basket full of fish in her hands, a glowing smile on her lips.
"Hu Tao, took you long enough!" Beidou teases, raising an eyebrow. "Were you reading one of those spooky stories of yours again?"
Hu Tao's eyes sparkle with amusement, the letters tucked in the corner of her mind now.
"As a matter of fact, I was. Kind of. But you know how captivating reading can be for me.” She opens the door further. “Come in, come in! What brings you here with all this fish?"
Beidou steps inside, handing the basket to Hu Tao. "Well, my crew and I caught more fish than we can possibly eat or store. So, I thought of sharing them with friends instead of letting them go to waste, you know?"
Hu Tao's grin wides, appreciating the thoughtful gesture.
"That's incredibly kind of you, Beidou! I must say, my wife will be delighted. She will be returning later tonight. She’s on a business trip right now, otherwise I would’ve kicked her butt for not coming to say hi to you, hehe~"
"Ah, good to know she'll be back soon," Beidou replies with a nod, smiling brightly. "It's been a while since we all sat down for a meal together, don’t you think?"
"I agree! We should schedule one of those soon!" Hu Tao says enthusiastically. She looks down at the basket in her hands. "Now, with this fresh fish, I can cook her favorite dinner tonight. Hehe, she'll be thrilled!"
"I'm sure she'll love it," Beidou replies, placing a heavy hand on her shoulder. "You're quite the cook, Hu Tao. I have to give it to you, even if your dishes seem… A little strange, haha."
Hu Tao chuckles. "You flatter me, Beidou. But it's true that I enjoy cooking. For her especially. It's one of the ways I show my undying love~"
"And it's wonderful," Beidou says sincerely, nodding happily. "You two are lucky to have found each other."
"We are," Hu Tao agrees, her cheerful voice softening now. "She's been my pillar of strength, supporting me even during the most challenging times. But enough about us! How was your day out on the open sea, my friend~?"
Beidou's eyes gleam as she recalls the adventure.
"It was a thrilling day! We sailed through turbulent waters and faced a few harrowing moments with sea creatures. But in the end, it was worth it to see the bountiful catch we brought back!"
"I can imagine," Hu Tao says, her curiosity piqued. "You always seem to find excitement wherever you go!"
"That's the pirate's way!" Beidou proclaims, grinning proudly.
The two friends spend more time than they originally intended chatting and laughing, exchanging stories about their adventures and memories. As the sun begins to set beyond the windows, Hu Tao voices her gratitude once more for the generous gift of fish.
"It's my pleasure," Beidou replies warmly. "Remember, if you ever need anything else, don't hesitate to ask."
When Beidou leaves, Hu Tao swiftly goes back to the couch, finding the following letter, her heart racing in her chest.
The fate of your duel for her hand.

My Dearest beloved, Sept. 1507
As I read your brave and selfless words, my heart swells with both love and fear. The thought of you risking your life for me fills me with a deep sense of gratitude, but I cannot bear the idea of losing you, my love. Please, I implore you, do not attempt the duel. I cannot bear the thought of you coming to harm because of me.
While your declaration of love and devotion warms my soul, I cannot allow you to endanger yourself in such a reckless way. The world we live in is harsh and unforgiving, and I fear what may come of this duel. I cannot bear the thought of losing you, for you are the light that brightens my darkest days.
My heart aches knowing that I am the cause of your pain and suffering. I never wanted this for you, my love. The circumstances that bind us are cruel, and I long for the day when we can be together without fear or hindrance. But until that day comes, we must be prudent and patient.
Please, my beloved, consider the consequences of your actions. Think of those who love you, who would be left heartbroken if you were to be harmed. I cannot bear the thought of my happiness coming at the expense of your safety.
Instead, let us find strength in our love for each other, in the knowledge that our hearts beat as one, no matter the distance between us. Though we are apart, know that you are always with me, and I am always with you. Our love transcends time and space, and it will sustain us until we can be together freely.
I will pray for your safety and well-being, and I will continue to hope for a future where we can be together without constraints. Until that day comes, my love, hold onto the knowledge that you are cherished and adored, and that my heart beats for you alone.
With all my love,
Lady Hu Tao.

HU TAO READS THE WORDS with a clenched heart, praying that you were okay in this lifetime. She can imagine the anguish and uncertainty, the emotions sinking into her bones like the cold breeze of the night at the thought of losing you.
As she finds the paper that follows, her heart shatters into a million pieces.

Local Paper Obituary - In Loving Memory of a Local Female Sword-fighter.
November, 1507.
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of an extraordinary woman whose life was taken too soon in a tragic duel that unfolded in the name of love. Her valor, courage, and unparalleled skill in the art of sword fighting leave an indelible mark on our hearts and in the history of our land.
Date of Birth: Unknown.
Date of Demise: November 22nd, 1507.
Born into a world where societal conventions stifled the dreams of women, the now deceased sword-fighter fearlessly broke free from the shackles that sought to bind her. With grace and determination, she embraced the way of the sword, becoming a symbol of strength and empowerment for others who dared to challenge the norms.
Her tragic tale intertwined with the fates of two noble hearts - her own and that of the Lord of these lands. Unbeknownst to many, the sword-fighter and the Lord’s bride, Lady Hu Tao, were deeply enamored with each other, destined to be together by the strings of love.
However, as is so often the case in this age dominated by arranged marriages, fate dealt a cruel hand. The beautiful Lady Hu Tao, whom the female sword-fighter cherished with all her heart, was forced into an arranged marriage with our Lord, extinguishing the flame of their love.
In the haze of sorrow and desperation, love turned to bitterness and jealousy. The female sword-fighter could not bear to see her beloved wed another and took up the gauntlet, challenging our Lord to a duel that would decide the fate of Lady Hu Tao's heart.
On a somber November day, beneath the melancholic sky, the clash of swords resonated through the air. The female sword-fighter fought with fervor, not to inflict harm but to reclaim the love that fate had so mercilessly snatched away. Her sword, an extension of her unyielding spirit, sought not vengeance but an opportunity to rewrite their tragic story.
Alas, despite her unparalleled prowess, fate remained unyielding. In a cruel twist of destiny, the duel ended with a fatal blow to the female sword-fighter. As her life ebbed away, she knew her quest for love was futile, but her heart remained steadfast in its devotion to Lady Hu Tao.
In her final moments, the unnamed woman held on to the love that had blossomed in her heart, the love that circumstances had deemed forbidden. In death, she found solace in knowing that her love for Lady Hu Tao would endure, even if unspoken.
Today, as we mourn the loss of an extraordinary soul, let us remember the female sword-fighter for her strength, her bravery, and her unyielding love. May her sacrifice serve as a reminder of the consequences of societal constraints on love and the importance of cherishing every fleeting moment with those we hold dear.
A memorial service will be held at the Temple on November 24th to honor her memory and celebrate her life. All are welcome to pay their respects to the fallen swordfighter and bid farewell to a soul whose love knew no bounds.
Though her life was cut short, the legacy of the female sword-fighter will forever echo through history, inspiring generations to come to embrace love with unwavering determination, regardless of the obstacles that lie before them.
May her soul find eternal peace in the realms beyond, and may her love for Lady Hu Tao endure throughout eternity.

HU TAO TAKES A MOMENT TO calm her clamoring heart. You died back then for her, to win back her hand, but you lost your life instead. The realization that you were gone, that you had paid the ultimate price for her love, is a blow that leaves her breathless. Tears stream down her cheeks as she clutches the letter to her chest, as if holding onto the last remnants of your presence.
She thought it would be the end of your story, but she finds more letters attached to these ones, her handwriting unmistakable in her eyes.
With trembling hands, she holds the following one and begins reading.

My Dearest beloved, Nov. 1507
As I sit here with tear-stained cheeks and a heart heavy with grief, I struggle to find the words to express the depths of my sorrow. The days since the fateful duel have been a blur of pain and anguish, for the loss of you, my love, has left an indelible void within me.
The weight of guilt gnaws at my soul, for it was my presence in your life that led you to such a perilous fate. I never wanted this for you, my beloved. I never wanted you to risk your life for me. The regret is a bitter pill to swallow, and I would give anything to turn back time and prevent this tragedy.
The sight of your passing reached me like a dagger to the heart, and I crumbled under the weight of my grief. To know that you are gone from this world, that I will never again see your smile or feel your touch, is a pain that words fail to describe.
Yet, amidst the darkness of this sorrow, there is a glimmer of solace. In the moments before your departure, fate granted us one last meeting, one final embrace. I held you in my arms, my love, and though your time was fleeting, it felt like an eternity of bliss.
In that moment, the world faded away, and it was just you and I, as it was always meant to be. I whispered words of love and gratitude into your ear, knowing that you could hear me, even in the arms of eternity. I will hold onto that memory, that precious gift, for as long as I draw breath.
Though your time in this world was cut short, the impact of your love on my life will be everlasting. You brought light to my darkest days, and your love made me feel alive like never before. You were my confidant, my best friend, and the keeper of my heart.
The pain of losing you is almost unbearable, and there are moments when I feel as though I cannot go on without you. But I know that you would want me to find strength and carry on, to live a life that honors the love we shared.
My beloved, though you are gone, you will never be forgotten. Your spirit lives on in my heart, and I will cherish the memories of our love for all eternity.
Rest in peace, my love, and know that I will love you always.
With all my heart,
Lady Hu Tao.

.
AND AFTER THAT LETTER, there comes another one. Hu Tao feels the room close in around her, and the weight of grief presses down on her like a crushing wave.
She takes the next letter in her hands and begins reading through blurry eyes.

My Dearest beloved, March, 1508
Months have come and gone since I last held you in my arms, and not a day goes by that I don't yearn for your presence beside me. The pain of your absence remains a constant ache in my heart, but I find solace in the memories we shared and the beauty of the world around me, which reminds me of you.
As spring arrives, the cherry blossoms once again grace the world with their delicate pink petals. Each blossom that adorns the trees carries your essence, and in their fleeting beauty, I see a reflection of our love— A love that bloomed and flourished like the blossoms in the breeze.
I wish you were here, my love, to witness the magic of the cherry blossoms and feel their soft touch upon your skin. I long to share these moments with you, to bask in the beauty of nature's creation together, as we once did. But even in your physical absence, I feel you beside me in every beautiful thing.
Your presence is woven into the fabric of my life, like the threads of a tapestry that tell the story of our love. Your laughter echoes in the wind, and your smile lingers in the golden hues of the setting sun. Each day, I find you in the little things— A gentle raindrop, a ray of sunlight, a twinkling star in the night sky.
Though you are no longer with me in the physical sense, your spirit lives on, and our love transcends the boundaries of time and space. You are a part of me, and I carry you in my heart wherever I go.
The nights are still long and lonely without you, my love, and I often find myself gazing at the moon, wondering if you see it too from wherever you are. The stars above, like tiny diamonds in the sky, seem to hold the secrets of the universe, and I find comfort in knowing that you are among them, shining bright upon me.
As the seasons change and time moves forward, my love for you remains steadfast. I will forever cherish the moments we shared and hold onto the hope that one day, we will be reunited once more.
Until then, I will continue to see you in every beautiful thing, in every whisper of the wind, and in the blossoming of the cherry trees. You are my eternal love, and you will forever be a part of my soul.
With all my love,
Lady Hu Tao.

HU TAO TAKES THE NEXT LETTER into her hands. Her handwriting seems faded and worn out, but she can still discern the words, laced with her undying affection for you despite the grieving loss of you.

My Dearest beloved, Jun, 1514
It has been several years since fate took you away from me, and the passage of time has not dimmed the love I hold for you. Life has carried me forward, and I now find myself a mother to beautiful children, a life I never envisioned, yet one that has brought its own moments of joy and warmth.
Though I do not love my husband as I loved you, I have found some measure of comfort in the life we have built together. It is not the passionate love we once shared, but it is a love born out of familiarity, companionship, and the shared responsibility of raising our children.
My heart aches every day, for I see you in the faces of our children. Their smiles, their laughter, their curious eyes all carry a hint of you, and in them, I find solace. I wish you could be here to witness the beauty of their growth and the love they bring into our lives.
As they grow older, I often find myself wondering what it would have been like if you were here with us. I imagine you playing with them, holding them close, and sharing in their milestones and achievements. The thought of you being a part of their lives fills me with bittersweet longing.
Life has granted me stability and ease, but there is a part of me that remains unfulfilled. I yearn for the love we once shared, the depth of connection that cannot be replicated. I wish for a reality where we could have shared this life together, as a family.
I hope you know, my love, that you are never forgotten, that your memory is cherished and held dear to my heart. The love we shared was a force that shaped me, and it continues to guide me through the trials of life.
I will always carry you with me, my beloved, in the depths of my soul and the love I have for my children. Though life has led us down different paths, the bond we once had remains unbreakable.
With each passing day, I find myself yearning for the day when we shall be reunited, where we can be together once more. Until then, I will continue to hold onto the love we shared, finding strength in the thought of you, in the faces of my children, and in the hope that one day, our souls will meet again.
With my forever love,
Lady Hu Tao.

HU TAO BECAME A MOTHER in that lifetime without you? Her heart aches as she reads the words, thinking of how it must’ve felt like to witness the passing of the years with your absence weighing heavy in her chest.
She grasps the next letter in her trembling hands.
It’s the last there is.

My Dearest beloved, Oct. 1532
As I write these words, my body feels frail and my spirit hovers on the threshold between this world and the next. The doctors speak of illness, of a journey that may lead me to where you are. The years have flown by like fleeting moments, and now I find myself facing the uncertainty of life's end. But fear not, my love, for my heart is strangely at ease.
My children, my beautiful blessings, have grown into kind and hardworking young souls. They stand on their own, strong and capable, and I am filled with pride and gratitude for the time I have spent with them. I have poured my love and wisdom into their hearts, and now they walk with the strength to carry on without me.
Though I know that my absence will bring sorrow to their hearts, I find comfort in the knowledge that they will be surrounded by love and support. They will be there for each other, just as we were, a testament to the love that binds us all.
As I reflect on my life, I find that my heart longs for the day when I shall be reunited with you. The thought of your arms embracing me, your laughter ringing in my ears, and your love surrounding me brings a sense of peace unlike any other.
I have no regrets, my love, for the life we shared was filled with love and joy, even if briefly, and my children are a testament to that love that filled my soul all these years. They are living proof of the love you poured into me, that we poured this world, and that love will continue to ripple through the generations to come.
Now, as my journey nears its end, I yearn for the moment when I shall cross over to where you are. I ask you to wait for me, my beloved, for we will be together soon. The love that has united us in this life will continue in the next, and we will find each other once more.
I am not afraid, for I know that our love is eternal, transcending the boundaries of time and space. I will watch over my children from beyond, and my love will guide and protect them as I know yours has done with me through all these years we’ve been apart.
Until the day comes when we are united again, my heart, hold onto the love we shared, as I will hold onto the memories of our time together. I eagerly await the moment when we shall embrace once more, and our souls will dance together in eternal bliss.
With all my love forever,
Lady Hu Tao.

HER VISION IS BLURRY WITH the shape of tears, the trail they’re leaving down her cheeks is starting to grow cold on her skin.
There are no more letters, but there is one last paper tucked on the bottom of the box. An extract from a newspaper, faded in time. She reads it with a heavy heart.

.
.
HU TAO FINISHES READING THE PAPER. There are tears streaming down her face, her chest heaving with the overwhelming emotions of a life she lived, centuries ago, that’s now pouring down her veins and soaking her bones. She sniffles, trying to steady her breath.
And just then, she hears the main door open. You have come back home from today’s work. Hu Tao doesn’t waste a second.
She rushes through the hallway with an almost desperate urgency and pounces on you, her arms wrapping around you tightly. The force of her tackle sends both of you tumbling to the floor.
“Tao— Whoa. Hello to you too, my—”
You start, but you’re quickly cut off.
“Don’t ever die and leave me behind!” She demands, her face burrowed in your chest, her voice quivering with raw emotion. “Don’t do anything silly like risking your life for me!”
Confusion creeps into your voice.
“I don’t— Tao, where is this coming from?” You try to make sense of the sudden intensity.
“Just say it! Say you will be with me now, always.” She pleads, lifting her head to look at you. The intensity in her eyes almost scares you. “Please. I don’t— I don’t know what I would do if something bad happened to you… So, please… Please, don’t ever leave me.”
“Oh, my love.” Your heart aches at the depth of her fear. Gently, you cradle her face in your hands, smiling softly at her. “Nothing bad is going to happen to me. I am going to stay right here, right where I am, with you, for as long as you want me to.”
“So you promise, right? You promise to stay with me forever? For as long as the sun shines and the birds sing?” She insists, her eyes searching yours. “You won’t lose your life in a duel to the death for my hand, and I won’t stay missing you for all the years that come after?”
“What—?” You shake your head, letting out a soft laugh. “No, my love, I promise I won’t lose my life in a duel to the death for your hand. I will stay right here. Right where you can see me, okay?”
“Thank you, my pumpkin pie… That makes me feel better.”
Hu Tao nuzzles her head into your shoulder, burying her face into your shirt’s fabric and breathing in. You can feel her chest swell as she continues to breathe, her warmth pouring all over you and her auburn hair cascading down her back.
“Tao… Where is this coming from, really? I was gone for one weekend and I come back to you feeling like this…” Your voice is gentle. “Did something happen, my love?”
Hu Tao sighs, her fingers nervously tracing patterns on the fabric of your clothing.
“It’s silly, really. Maybe I’ve been reading too much lately…” She shakes her head. “You’re going to think I’m crazy.”
With a reassuring smile, you reach out to cup her face in your hands, your touch tender and loving.
“My heart, nothing you could ever say would make me think you're crazy. Just say what's in your heart, I'll listen." You stroke her cheeks lovingly. “No judgment, remember?"
A flicker of uncertainty crosses her crimson eyes, but then she takes a deep breath and decides to open her mouth again.
"I don't know how to describe it... It's a lot easier to understand if I just showed you instead... But, I don't want you to freak out." Hu Tao closes her eyes, trying to decide if she should continue. She looks up at you with a hopeful look before speaking. "Do you want to see it?"
You nod without hesitation. “Yes. Show me.”
Hu Tao guides you to your shared bedroom and pulls out the ornate Timekeeper’s box. She opens it up, revealing dozens the of letters that appear to be from you to her, and vice versa. Your handwriting is distinct and your words are as easy to identify to you as they were to her.
“And these, too…”
Hu Tao shows you the photos she bought from the antique shop, also carefully nestled inside the ornate box. You see the small collection of photos taken centuries ago of two lovers, different throughout the ages. Although the quality is poor, they both share an unmistakable similar appearance to the two of you that you can quickly tell.
Hu Tao notices your bewilderment as you look at the photos, and continues to speak, her gaze fixed on the old photographs spread out before the two of you.
"The photos are almost like a window into another life... A different me, or another you... and it's so strange, but I've got to admit... I could see us in every single one. Am I going crazy?"
“Tao, what… What is this? Where did you get these from?”
You say, confusing swirling within you. Hu Tao glances up at you, her eyes filled with wonder and uncertainty.
"I just found them from a small antique shop earlier this week... I wasn't expecting anything particular out of them, but... It's just so weird, right? It's almost like destiny brought these to me... You can see what I mean, right?"
With a growing sense of intrigue, you lean in to examine the photos more closely. Your heart skips a beat as you recognize the figures in the pictures, unmistakably the two of you. Your hand moves to touch the letters, tracing the familiar curves of your own handwriting.
“These… These are us. That’s you, Tao.” You say, taking it all into your uncertain hands. “And this is my handwriting. How…?”
Your voice trails off as the implications of this discovery start to sink in your mind and body. Hu Tao opens her mouth again.
"I know. The moment I saw them, I knew that I had to have them... It was as if for at least a moment, I got to look into a world that's almost exactly the same as ours, yet somehow different... It all seemed so... familiar."
Hu Tao looks at the photos in your hands as you examine them too. You nod, now looking at her, her beautiful wide crimson eyes.
“They do look familiar. This feels… Like I have seen this all before. Like a dream. Something I… Can’t quite remember.”
Hu Tao nods to your words, taking some photographs in her hands.
"I feel the same way. It's as if this is something we always knew, but we never remembered. Look at the photos, you look exactly like how you do now. But yet you are someone else. It's all so... Uncanny. It's as if I'm looking into a mirror, but it's not quite me..." Her words become quieter. "It doesn't feel like a dream, even if it's like a dream. Is this just a fantasy? Or could this really be who we used to be?"
The longer you look at the photos, the more you notice subtle differences. The two lovers in the photos wore clothes you've never seen before, and their facial expressions seemed to carry a sense of sorrow not found in your world. Yet, you also feel like it is all something you've seen before, and your head starts to swirl with strange memories. You can’t quite tell how familiar this all is, but there is definitely some connection.
Seeing your face scrunch with confusion, shock, and a slight bit of fear, makes Hu Tao’s heart sink. She gently pushes your hands with the photos down to your side.
"Don't worry, it doesn't mean anything. We probably aren't the only two people in this world to look like that. I'm sure we'll forget about it tomorrow as if it was a bad dream. It's not like it's some kind of past life or something, haha."
Hu Tao chuckles a little in an attempt to lighten your mood, her laughter tinged with a nervous energy. You swallow, voicing the very idea that had haunted her since the discovery.
“Past life… I know this sounds… Absolutely bonkers. But what if— What if it really was us? In past lives?”
Hu Tao blinks, then bursts into laughter, the sound matching the incredulity of your suggestion.
“Oh, now you're going down the same insane train of thought as I am? Hahaha~” She pauses, her laughter fading. “But... What if it is true? What if we've just been separated over and over again, throughout all of time... It's such a ridiculous idea, but that tiny thought at the back of my mind still makes my entire body tremble.” Another pause. And then, “Would you think I'm going mad if I believe it?"
You meet her gaze with a newfound seriousness, shaking your head.
“Half an hour ago, yes. I would. But now… Tao, the more I look at these pictures, these handwritings, the more I… Remember. The silk of the prom dress… The echoes of war in my ears…” Hu Tao’s heart clenches as you begin to describe the memories that are starting to resurface. “The weight— Tao, the weight of the sword in my hand. I have never in my life yielded a sword, I— What if it’s true?”
Hu Tao feels her blood run cold as she listens to your words. Her heart skips a beat, making her stomach churn and her lips quiver.
"Don't say that... Don't say things like that, because what if it really is true? Who knows, after all, what lies beyond life and death..."
Hu Tao buries her face into your shoulder again, too weighed by the revelation to look up from her spot. She curls up, hugging you tightly, claiming your safety and comfort in the midst of the bewildering revelations that have shaken your world.
In the hushed atmosphere, you ask a question, one that hangs in the air like a delicate thread, soft and gentle.
“Do you want to know what I… What I remember the most, of all this?”
Hu Tao shifts her head from where it rests against your shoulder, her nervous eyes searching your gaze as she waits for your response. Her heart races with anticipation as she says, "What do you remember?"
“You.” You draw a soft smile, the affection pouring out of your curved lips for her eyes only. “I remember you, Tao. I remember loving you ardently, life after life. It sounds absolutely crazy, but… I swear I remember yearning to be back to your side. To spend my life with you. To fight for you. I remember… I remember loving you, before I was even born into this life.”
“You... You remember loving me? You mean it?"
Hu Tao stares at you, her eyes brimming with tears. You’ve been sharing the most intimate thoughts and feelings with one another, her heart pounding rapidly as if she’s been running a marathon, but this realization makes her heart feel like it's dropping like a heavy rock into a bottomless void. She wipes her tears away and leans her head back against your shoulder. She wraps her arms around your body, as if to hold herself together with you.
“I really mean it.” You chuckle, caressing her cheeks in disbelief. “As ridiculous as it sounds… I really do, my love.”
Hu Tao's face lights up with joy, her crimson eyes tearing up as she wraps her arms around you tight, squeezing you tighter, her face buried into the welcoming softness of your chest.
"You remember loving me... before you were even born into this life...? That's the exact same way I've felt about you since the first day that I saw you... What if it's true? What if you were always my true love, waiting for me in every life?"
Your gaze holds a deep sense of certainty when you say,
“Then, I am glad I found you again in this life. I promise to make the most of the years we have this time around.” You gently kiss her cheek. Then smile, open and honest like she’s learned to love from you. “And I promise to find you in the next one, too.”
Hu Tao looks up at you, her ember eyes glistening. With gratitude. With love.
"My dear... I knew our love was meant to be, that we were destined for each other... But I never knew we were fated like this. No matter where, no matter when, and for all of time itself, we'll always find a way to each other. I'll always be the love of your life... and you'll always be the best of my worlds. Please, I beg of you, don't ever let our hearts be parted again."
As the intensity of the moment wraps the both of you, Hu Tao brings her lips close to your ear, her warm breath sending shivers down your spine as she whispers, "Promise me."
“I promise…” Hu Tao smiles as you whisper back with a shaky breath.
“You're mine, and I'm yours... It's funny how fate works. I never thought I'd find myself in a situation like this, even though I've read so many stories about such things in the past. But I think I'm happy with it, so long as it’s you with me."
Hu Tao pulls back from your neck, as her face lights up in the sweetest smile you've ever seen.
“You look silly when you shiver like that. Come give me a kiss."
You draw an easy smile at her teasing, your cheeks growing a slight shade of pink.
“A soulmate kiss?”
“No, a wife-kiss! Hehe~ We are married, you know?”
Hu Tao places a finger to her lips and winks, playfully waiting for you to kiss her on her lips.
“You’re right, my lovely wife.”
Your heart warms at the reminder, and you lean in to give her a kiss. The moment is gentle, tender as your lips brush together, slowly savoring the connection.
However, that’s nearly not enough to satisfy Hu Tao.
"That's not how you kiss a wife! Here, I'll show you~"
Hu Tao leans toward you, eagerly locking her lips with yours in a passionate kiss. You feel her tongue lightly dance against your own, as a warm flush rises to your cheeks. She pulls away from the kiss, looking at you with a playful grin adorning her beautiful face.
"That's more like it~"
You feel your face flushed, entirely too warm. “I… Yes, that was nice.”
"Mhm, then come back here for more~"
Hu Tao chuckles and leans in to capture your lips again, this time pulling you by the collar of your shirt and giving you a soft, sweet kiss now, closing her eyes as you two lean into the other in a warm embrace. Your lips tingle as they meet with hers, your fingers gently brushing the nape of her neck. Her hand rises to your hair, cradling your head with care as she continues to kiss you— A kiss filled with all the love of all your past lives. Finally, she pulls away, and smiles at you sweetly.
“I'll always be yours, my beautiful wife, and I will never love anyone else. Just you. That’s my promise for this lifetime.” She winks at you. “And all the others that come next too, I suppose~”
You brush her cheeks softly, tracing the shape of her cheekbone with your gentle fingertips, looking at her with affection drawn all over your eyes.
“A lifetime— No, an eternity with you, my love.” You pinch her cheeks, chuckling. “A blessing or a curse, I wonder?”
"Hehe~ I don't really care, because regardless, we'll be together, for better or for worse. The world could be ending and even when we're old and wrinkly, I'm willing to go through it all just to be by your side." Hu Tao smiles, bringing her nose close to yours. "But hey, it's not all sappy and lovey-dovey. I mean, even if we're destined to be together, that doesn't mean I'll stop teasing or pranking you. That much, I will never change."
She closes her ember eyes and you gently brush away a stray hair hanging in front of her face, before kissing the tip of her nose, laughing out of love and saying,
“You know? I wouldn’t change that for the world.”
.
.
THE FOLLOWING DAY, YOU WOULD stroll down the Harbor together, hand in hand. You would walk the same steps that lead Hu Tao to the antique shop days before, looking for the shop's weathered sign that reads "The Timekeeper's Trinkets", the creaky door, the musty scent of old books and polished wood and the elderly shopkeeper with twinkling eyes.
But instead, you find nothing. Like such an antique shop had never really existed in the cobblestone streets of Liyue Harbor.
And perhaps, you think, it never had.

Mama lisa?? fem!reader please. I imagine lisa would be an absolute unit as a mother. may i ask for the reader, and lisa having a nice quiet night together? the reader gets up to leave for a moment, yet takes quite a bit, so lisa goes to check in and sees the reader with their newborn.
i just want bunches of fluff and kisses from mama lisa:)
Mama Lisa <3
Characters: Lisa Minci x F!Reader.
Warnings: None that apply!
Notes: (Chanting) Mama Lisa, mama Lisa! She is the softest mother and I will never shut up about it. I hope you enjoy the tooth-rotting fluff I made for you <3
The room is bathed in the gentle embrace of candlelight, the flickering flames casting beautiful patterns of light and shadow on the walls of your living room. Looking around, you can see the touch of your wife all around the room, adorned with shelves of ancient tomes and scrolls, each holding secrets and stories from ages past that Lisa absolutely loves to share with you when you allow her the chance.
You breathe in, the air scented with the delicate aroma of vanilla and lavender, the atmosphere around you entirely too soothing. In the center of the room, a plush couch stands as a welcoming haven, adorned with cushions in deep shades of blue and gold.
And there is where you find yourself nestled comfortably against Lisa, your bodies pressed together and cocooned in a warm blanket, soft as a whisper. Your head is curled up against Lisa’s shoulder, and her beautiful hair is cascading down in graceful waves, brushing against your cheek as she adjusts her position to hold you more comfortably.
"You know, moments like these make me forget all about my duties as a librarian. Being with you is truly magical, darling."
You can feel her soft chuckle on your skin, her fingers tracing along your cheek in a gentle motion, all too familiar. You can’t help but close your eyes to her touch.
"I feel the same way, my love.” Your voice is muffled by her skin. “It's moments like this that remind me of how lucky I am to have you as my wife."
Just then, the baby monitor on the coffee table crackles to life.
Seems that your newborn baby needs attention. But before Lisa can move a muscle, you carefully place a kiss on her lips, smiling.
“Don’t worry. I got it.” You say, getting up to attend to the baby.
And the smile that Lisa gives you back is a precious thing, full of the affection that fills her eyes when she looks at you for a second too long.
"Go ahead, love. I'll wait here.”
And she waits. Lisa holds an open tome in her lap, her finger resting delicately on a page as her gaze occasionally drifts to the corridor you went through a moment ago. Her fingers brush over the pages of the book absentmindedly, her mind wandering, daydreaming of the family you’re building together.
A faint smile tugs at the corners of her lips as she imagines the scene: Your careful steps, the hushed coos that accompany your interactions, and the way your presence would fill the small space with a sense of security and love. Her chest swells with joy.
She waits for you. And she waits. And as time passes, Lisa grows curious. And a little bit impatient, too. So she decides to leave the couch and check on you and the baby. As she quietly approaches the nursery, Lisa can’t help but feel a rush of warmth as she sees the heartwarming scene before her.
The soft glow of a night light fills the room, casting a gentle and serene touch that holds you and the baby in a warm embrace. And there you are, cradling your little one with so much tenderness, like you’re holding in your hands the most precious thing in the entirety of the world. Your voice, a symphony of sweet coos and whispers, fills the air with a melody, a soothing lullaby for your baby’s ears only. Lisa's steps are softer now, more careful, not wanting to disturb the delicate moment that unfolds before her.
And she leans against the doorframe, a soft smile blooming quietly on her lips as she watches you in this intimate moment in time. The sight of you cradling your precious bundle of joy, your eyes filled with an adoration that’s both bound and timeless, paints a picture in the vault of Lisa’s heart. She stays there, watches your beautiful features light up with a gentle glow. Your fingers trace delicate patterns on the baby's tiny hand, and the soft murmur of your voice fills Lisa’s ears with nothing but warmth. The nursery feels like a haven of love, and Lisa really can’t help but be overwhelmed by the depth of the affection that fills her chest to the brim, threatening to overflow.
Unable to resist the overwhelming surge of love and emotion, Lisa steps forward. She wraps her arms around you and the baby, making a haven of love and affection in the gentle circle of her arms.
"May I join in this beautiful moment?"
She whispers, her voice tinged with emotion. Not waiting for a response, she leans down, pressing soft kisses to the crown of the baby's head, her lips a feather-light touch, a promise of safety and love.
Her arms circle you too, drawing you closer to her as if to shield your growing family from the world outside. You can almost feel the weight of her love, something tangible that can be held in the space between your heartbeats. Lisa presses another kiss to your temple, her lips lingering in a sweet caress.
“Seeing you with our child." Lisa whispers against your hair. "It's a vision of beauty that I will treasure forever."
And you can feel it. How her words are filled with wonder and gratitude, a testament to the immense affection that she feels for you, and that now flourished in the form of your precious baby.
You turn your head slightly to meet her gaze, your eyes reflecting the same love that’s drawn all over hers. Your fingers brush against her cheek in a tender caress. Then, you lean in to press a gentle kiss to her lips, smiling in the motion.
“Lisa. My love, my heart.” You whisper, your voice a soft echo. “You're the other half of this beautiful moment. Our family wouldn't be complete without you."
Feeling the weight of the baby in your arms, Lisa begins to instinctively hum a sweet and soothing lullaby, the melody a wordless declaration of love. The tune flows from her effortlessly, the vibrations an echo of comfort that holds the three of you like a warm blanket. As Lisa hums, the baby responds to her sound, their tiny fingers curling and uncurling, their breathing growing steady and serene.
Breaking the silence, your voice is a whisper, soft and heartfelt.
"You know,” you begin, your words carrying the weight of sincerity. "I am endlessly grateful for the love we share."
You meet Lisa’s gaze, and in her emerald eyes you find a joy that knows no bounds, deep as the ocean. A smile blooms on her beautiful lips.
"And I, too, am grateful for you, my darling. You've brought so much light and happiness into my life." Her fingers brush a strand of hair away from your face, wanting to take in the entirety of you, the one she treasures the most. “Every day with you is a dream come true. And watching you with our child… It's the one I never want to wake up from."
The baby in your arms seems to sense the affection in the moment, their tiny fingers curling around Lisa's, almost wanting to join in the bond that you are celebrating together. You lean into Lisa's touch, pressing a gentle kiss to the corner of her lips, and smile brightly.
“I love you, Lisa.” You tell her day after day, time and time again, but it never feels like enough.
"And I love you, my dear.” Lisa replies, her emerald eyes mirroring the affection that you know is drawn all over your features as well. “In moments like these, I'm reminded of the countless reasons why."
You lean your head into hers, joining her humming softly, filling the nursery with the affection and love that belongs to her and her alone, your chest filled with promises of a bright future that is only just beginning. And you can’t wait for it all.

may i ask for some dating headcannons with focalors the hydro archon? :3
Dating Furina/Focalors Headcanons
Characters: Furina/Focalors x GN!Reader.
Warnings: None that apply!
Notes: I was waiting to play the first Fontaine Archon Quest to get a grasp of her character before writing this. I have to say, I absolutely love this gremlin and bratty Archon. I hope you have as much fun reading this as I had writing it. (The last ones are my favorite <3)
Furina is flamboyant, imprudent and she lives for the thrill of the drama and the validation of those around her, so you’ll have to be very understanding and patient with her and the fair amount of mishaps that she will surely cause. So be prepared!
.
She doesn’t really voice it, she’s too proud for that, but she absolutely loves the way you’ve become her anchor, helping to balance out her impulsive nature with your calm and understanding demeanor. When she's on the brink of making a hasty decision, you're there to gently guide her, reminding her to consider all perspectives and consequences before acting. And she takes your advice to heart, be proud of that!
.
She struggles internally a lot with the pressure of her public image. Of course, she doesn’t say this directly to you, but you can see how it affects her, and so you write for her heartfelt letters whenever she's facing a tough situation. She doesn’t really make much of a fuss about them, but internally your words of encouragement and reminders of her strengths become her source of comfort, and she rereads them many more times than she’s willing to admit. She even has a special box where she keeps them all. But don’t ask her about it!
.
But it’s not all sappy stuff, your relationship with her is very adventurous and fun! Furina absolutely loves a good thrill and an outstanding performance in everything she does, so you’re of course expected to tag along in all of her endeavors. Whether it's exploring a new case that’s just taken place, trying out quirky local restaurants, or taking impromptu road trips through Fontaine, you both find joy in the thrill of the new things you try together!
.
Furina absolutely thrives on positive attention and affirmation. She is always very touched by your heartfelt compliments and words of encouragement (she probably won’t say it, mind you, but she would engrave your words in her mind to always come back to them). Express your admiration for her skills, charisma, and unique qualities and Furina will glow, feeling appreciated and loved. Keep them coming, she can’t get enough!
.
After some time of her being with you, Furina will slowly (and I mean, very slowly) feel comfortable enough with letting her guard down around you. And that is no easy feat! She’s constantly thinking that she will be judged by whatever she says wrong, so you should feel immensely lucky that she’s willing to trust you with her innermost turmoils! (Her words.) In time, you create a safe space where she can express her insecurities without fear of judgment, because you’re kind like that and you love her. You encourage Furina to have a ton of heartfelt conversations, and slowly you help her understand that she doesn't have to be perfect to be loved. It’s still a work in progress, but she’ll get there.
.
Furina is a sucker for gifts. After all, what better way for others to express their admiration for her, right? But the ones she loves the most are yours, of course. The gifts and tokens of your affection hold special meanings, since you picked them out knowing she’d like them. Like a charm to remind her of her resilience or a piece of art that reflects her flamboyant personality and you thought, “Oh, this reminds me of her!”. Keep doing that. She can’t get enough of it.
.
Knowing how much she loves and treasures positive attention, you organize surprise events or gatherings to celebrate Furina’s accomplishments, no matter how small they are. She doesn’t make a big deal out of it (She deserves all the praise and attention, after all!), but you see the brightest smile dancing on her lips the whole day, and that’s how you see how much she values these moments. These thoughtful gestures show Furina that you genuinely appreciate her efforts and want to support her in all aspects of her life. She will try even harder this time, if only for you to praise her more.
.
Your relationship with her is also full of laughter. You tease each other constantly, at all times, sharing inside jokes, and find humor in the quirks of everyday life together. Furina knows you have an ability to make her smile even in challenging times and she silently appreciates you so much for her. Still, you tease her too much. And she is the embodiment of the divine, she can’t have you teasing her in public!
.
With the passing of the time by your side (and I mean, at a very slow pace!), Furina starts to overcome her need for constant validation from others. She slowly becomes more confident in her abilities in the court and outside of it, and she learns to embrace her imperfections (her impulsivity, childlike temper, the constant bravado and drama, the list goes on!), understanding that you love her for who she truly is. Really, how could you not? She’s impressive and heavenly! It’s only natural you’re head over heels and completely in love with her! (She’s working on her arrogance, too).
.
Furina loves the spotlight more than anything else in the world (well, she only likes you more, and that’s saying something!), so sometimes you plan extravagant date nights that cater to her love for the spotlight. Whether it's a private outdoor performance under the stars or a playful evening of reenacting dramatic scenes from her favorite plays, you keep the excitement alive for her. And she thrives in every minute of it.
.
When it comes to physical touch, Furina is by far not used to it at the very beginning, so she’s fairly unsure when it comes to it. But she’s quick to realize that your gentle pats on her back, walking around with linked arms, or even a reassuring touch on her shoulder during moments of stress in the courtroom make her feel so much better instantly! Is this some kind of heavenly magic?
.
Furina quickly starts to associate your touch with positive emotions. Holding hands with you during a thrilling adventure or wrapping an arm around your waist while watching a dramatic play becomes something she really, really likes doing.
.
And when you introduce cuddling to her, Furina finds a whole new world to explore and enjoy. Whether it's lounging on your couch or stargazing, Furina wants to be in your arms at all times, if she has any say in the matter! Let her nuzzle into your neck and stay there for a while, she feels the safest she’s ever felt.
.
Furina enjoys your touch very much. She does not enjoy, however, how you playfully tease her with light touches, tickles, and gentle bumps! She’s the embodiment of justice, you can’t just have her wiggling and choking on laughter beneath you, how unsightly! (She absolutely loves it).
.
Furina has associated your touch with comfort and safety, so don’t be surprised when she comes to you after an especially hard day. Yes, she messed up in the courtroom today, but you’ll let her rest against you, won’t you? Your hugs and embraces become her safe haven. Sometimes she will open up and admit what happened that day. Others, she simply wants to enjoy your arms holding her tight in silence. In either case, she deeply appreciates you being there for her. She won’t voice it, of course, but you’ll know in the way she presses her forehead closer to you and the angle of your neck.
.
She also finds that physical touch is very useful! She starts using her own touch on you as a way to express her emotions. A soft kiss on your cheek in the morning, a warm hug after a long day, or even a surprise tackle or an affectionate nudge as you tease each other becomes her way of saying "I care about you" without needing dramatic and flamboyant words. How practical! She will keep showering you with her divine affection for many more years to come!
.
Having Furina as a significant other is no easy feat, it takes a lot of courage, determination, and most of all, a big amount of patience and understanding. Still, she is the most vibrant and colorful part of your life, so you wouldn’t have it any other way. With her, you become her partner in both the thrilling moments and the challenges of her life. Your love and support help her navigate her insecurities and embrace her true self, helping to nurture a romance that's passionate and tender and all the beautiful things in between.
If you enjoyed this, please consider liking or reblogging it <3!

Shenhe, Sara, and Eula with a gn reader who asks them to stay with them bc they're afraid of being left by people? or like comfort fluff headcanons along those lines if that's okay
Gentle Reassurances
Characters: Shenhe, Sara and Eula x GN!Reader.
Warnings: Your regular hurt/comfort.
Notes: "Tumblr drabbles!" I say as I come back with a post that's 4.5k words. I really know no self control. And I might have misunderstood the prompt for Shenhe and Eula but I think I got it right with Sara. Either way, I hope you still enjoy this <3
As the morning sun spilled its golden light into the apartment, Shenhe stirred from her slumber, her eyelashes fluttering with the remnants of her sleep. The warmth that filtered through the window caressed her cheeks as she blinked herself awake. With a soft yawn and a graceful stretch, she untangled herself from the all too warm embrace of her bed and rose to meet the day.
Her gaze met yours, and the softest of smiles curved her lips.
"Good morning, my love." She whispered, her voice a gentle melody in your ears. "How did you sleep?"
You feel your lips growing into a smile too, a tender curve of affection for her eyes only.
"I slept very well, thank you. How about you, my heart?"
A soft chuckle rolled out of her lips as she drew nearer, her presence and her scent wrapping you in morning bliss.
"I slept well too." She admitted, her voice a soft caress in the space that separated you. She leaned in, her lips meeting yours in a delicate kiss. "I must admit, being in your arms feels so nice and warm in the morning."
Returning the kiss, your fingers found themselves lost in the winter of her hair, your fingertips grazing her skin softly. You couldn’t help but chuckle at the situation.
"You’re awfully cuddly this morning, Shenhe. Not to say I don’t enjoy it. Because I do, very much."
Shenhe nuzzled closer, a playful glint in her winter eyes that’s not lost to you.
"Cuddly. Hm… Yes. I suppose you could say I am in a cuddly mood.”
“Yes.” You nodded, closing your eyes briefly. It had been a while since you had time to spend in each other’s company like this. You’ve been awfully busy at work lately. “I missed this.”
As the last remnants of sleep left her softened stare, you found her demeanor shifting, the subtlest change in her expression that you’ve learned to read as well as an open book with the passing of the time.
And so, you have also learned that, with Shenhe, it’s always best to be upfront about it all.
“Is everything alright?”
You watched her brow twitch. Just the faintest bit. But you had your answer hidden there.
“I believe there’s something… That I would like to discuss with you.”
Concern edged into your voice. "Of course. What is it, my love?"
She met your gaze, vulnerability etched across her winter features. A sight she reserved for the intimacy of your shared home and nowhere else. Moments passed, each heartbeat a testament to her internal struggle.
"It feel like I should share…" The words almost trembled, laden with a raw uncertainty she could hardly conceal. Not to you. "Something that has been on my mind as of late, these past weeks."
Her words became quieter as she sought the right phrasing. You sat up, a sense of urgency mingling with your worry.
"Are you alright?" A pause. And then. “Are… Are we alright?”
Her gaze held yours, and you could feel the fear dancing within the depths of your ribcage. Shenhe inhaled, her breath shuddering as she prepared to lay bare her heart.
"I believe I feel…" Her voice wavered, just the faintest bit, her resolve clashing with her unease to tell you. She pressed on still, determination lending her strength. "Unattended. We certainly don't spend as much time together anymore, and you being away for long has awoken… Unpleasant emotions within me. That I feel I should share with you. I have given it much thought, and I believe that… I feel worried.” She shut her winter eyes, a barrier against the tumultuous emotions she can’t decipher within the cage of her chest. “…That we are beginning to drift apart.”
Your heart ached at her words. Of course, you had been neglecting her. You could blame the increasing amount of work you’ve had to do for the past weeks, but you only have yourself to blame, really.
Still, you lost no time in cupping her cheek, your touch a balm to her uncertainties. Your voice was soft as the winter's breeze.
"Oh, sweetheart. I didn't know you felt that way. I have not been paying enough attention to you lately, right?"
Her gaze held yours, a silent confirmation crossing the beautiful winter of her eyes.
“I would say that, yes.” Her voice was a hushed whisper, her body still close to yours. "I struggle to comprehend these emotions still. Rationally, I understand you cannot be with me at all times. But somehow, in the depths of me…” Vulnerability quivered in her voice, a fear laid bare that you rarely see. “I harbor the fear of losing you.”
You felt the birth of tears pressing behind your eyes, and your hands were fragile threads when they caressed her back. Offering some comfort for her or for you, you’re not entirely sure.
"And you feel like you’re losing me lately, my love?"
Shenhe nodded, her head coming to rest on the curve of your shoulder, her winter hair cascading down your neck and arm.
“I have tried to push away those feelings of worry. I have tried meditation, training, going down the Harbor to collect my thoughts. But even still…” She closed her eyes, leaning into your touch further. “I can feel these emotions eating away at me from within. I despise them. I shudder at the possibility of… Losing you for good.”
With a heavy chest, you cradled her face gently. You brushed her cheeks with the softest of touches, a gentle caress to the winter of her skin.
"Don’t push those feelings away, my heart. I’m glad you told me. And I’m sorry you’re feeling this way, I really am.” A soft smile struggles to bloom on your lips, brimming with understanding. “What can I do to make it better?"
Her sharp eyes soften around the corners at your words, her gaze studying your features with necessity, wanting to engrave it all in the heaven of her memory. In case. Just in case.
“I believe I would enjoy spending more time with you.” Her lips danced with hesitation, but her winter eyes held yours with that deep affection you’d learnt to recognize in all of her gestures. "Being with you… It makes me happy."
Your chest swelled at her words, carrying all the tenderness you knew she harbored for you deep inside. You really couldn't help yourself. Your lips found her cheek, pressing a kiss to her tender skin, a loving gesture that conveyed just how deep your devotion for her ran.
"Then, that’s what we’ll do. I’ll take this weekend off and we’ll go somewhere.” You took her hand in yours, playing with her long fingers. “Just the two of us, in a cabin by the mountains. We’ll have picnics and swim in rivers. How does that sound?"
You watched her expression painted with eagerness and anticipation, her winter eyes lighting up at the words leaving your lips.
“That certainly sounds enjoyable, my dear.” If you didn’t know her like you do, you wouldn’t be able to hear the bubbling excitement in her voice. But you did know her, and you saw the subtle way her lips curved, softer in her happiness. “It is bound to be a fantastic time with you. Just you and me, and the nature of the mountains.” Her fingers brushed your cheek, a tender touch that said so much, so much to you. “I promise to protect you from any danger we may encounter, my heart.”
You nodded, entirely too happy with the promise of happiness in the future, of how the situation has been healthily salvaged.
“Thank you, my love. And we can even make a campfire and roast some potatoes too!” Your lips brushed her temple in a fleeting kiss. “We can do anything you want. This weekend is all about you, Shenhe. And I’m yours, completely."
The weight of your words settled into her heart, a promise that resonated deeply, echoing in the chambers of her heart. You watched with delight her subtle smile growing into something playful, the faintest teasing gleam in her beautiful eyes.
“Oh, if that's the case…" She drew closer, her body pressed against yours in affectionate proximity, and you lost your breath altogether. "You don't quite know what you just signed up for."
Her gaze held yours, mischief dancing in her winter eyes, and you were suddenly so glad to have this conversation at all. You were really, really looking forward to those days with her.
The night begins to settle in, casting a soothing veil over the land of the wind, and you and your girlfriend Eula find yourselves taking a rest from the current mission you’re working on together.
Staring at the city beyond, the ethereal glow of the Anemo lanterns lights up the streets, casting a warm, golden light in the buildings below. Around you, the gentle rustling of leaves comes with a cool, refreshing breeze that sweeps through the campsite, carrying with it the faint scent of wildflowers that flourish in the fields nearby. The hillsides around the camp are blanketed in a sea of emerald, the tall grasses swaying in harmony with the breeze. And you breathe in, leaning back in your elbows, feeling content.
"Isn't this a beautiful sight, my love?"
You remark, your gaze still looking at the beautiful landscape around the two of you.
"I prefer to focus on the mission, but I suppose it is very picturesque."
How beautifully practical, your Eula. Her focus really is resolutely on the mission at hand and nothing more. You really expected nothing less from her. Still, a soft chuckle leaves your lips.
"Come on, stop thinking about that. It's late, and we should rest. We even set up the campfire. We'll resume the mission tomorrow."
Her hesitation is palpable in the air, but Eula finally nods her agreement.
“Very well, if that’s what you wish. So long as it won't impede our progress tomorrow."
"I promise it won't."
You assure her, reaching out your hand to her. With a gentle tug, you draw her close, and your lips find hers in a tender kiss. You find delight in the way Eula’s cheeks quietly bloom with pink colors. You love her a little bit flustered, always.
“Don’t. I'm still on the job. I'd better make myself scarce.” She murmurs, her words a step between embarrassment and resolve.
You really can’t help yourself when she’s like this. You have to tease her.
"You're adorable when you're flustered, my dear.”
"Don't tease me while I'm on the job, or I'll…!"
You grin, a playful glint in your eyes, but Eula's voice trails off, her implication clear.
"Go on.” You prompt her, a playful smile dancing on your lips. You really can’t get enough of her.
"…Or I'll get my vengeance!”
A deeper blush warms up her features as the realization of her words hits her. She averts her gaze, hiding her flushed face where you can’t see her. Pity.
"Okay, okay. I won't tease you anymore."
You concede, your hand finding its place over hers, a soothing gesture of breaching the distance. A peace offering. She lets you caress her skin gently for a moment. Then, Eula's voice takes on a quieter tone.
"You know? I'm not used to this. To… Receiving affection like this."
Oh.
Your voice is gentle, almost tentative when you say,
"And how do you feel about it, my heart?"
Your thumb keeps tracing soothing patterns over her knuckles. You hope that helps ease the sudden tension that’s built between the two of you. Eula’s voice remains soft as she admits,
"I feel that… It's a little embarrassing.” She shakes her head, locks of blue hair falling over her eyes. Then, she clears her throat, her demeanor entirely changed. “I'm on the job, as I mentioned. Could you please refrain from holding my hand for now? I can't quite concentrate on my duties if we keep this up."
Understanding her concern, you remove your hand and reposition yourself closer to her. You can’t help but feel disheartened, though.
"Of course… I respect that." A contemplative pause settles between you before you break it again. You really can’t keep the question festering inside. "Can I… Can I ask you something, Eula?"
She meets your gaze, curiosity and hesitancy drawn all over her glazy stare.
"Yes, what do you wish to ask?"
"Lately, I've noticed something different when you're around me," you begin, your gaze fixed on the dancing flames before you. The heat of the fire is an ironic contrast to the conversation you’re having. "Especially when I try to be affectionate. And I can't help but wonder…” You breathe in. Then, you let it all out. “Do you still want this? Us being together?"
The abruptness of your question takes Eula aback. Her sharp eyes widen, larger than you have ever seen her.
"What? Why… Why would you say something like that? After all, we both want the same thing, don't we? I'm not the type to give up on something once I've set my mind to it..."
Her tone turns frosty, the frown in her features deeper, and you find yourself surprised with the shift in her demeanor. Have you dug a breach between the two of you?
"You don’t have to be like that, Eula." You offer gently, your voice is a soft thing. "I just sense that there's more beneath the surface. I'm here to help, if you'll let me."
Her reply remains stern. She turns her face away from you again.
"You really don't have to worry about that. Your concern is unnecessary. I'm simply focused on the job. Nothing more."
Her response makes your chest feel tight, heavy with unpleasant emotions. Your voice carries a tinge of melancholy when you say,
"I have no way of knowing what’s on your mind if… If you don't tell me, Eula. I mean well. I love you. But I don't want to force you into saying anything you're not comfortable with.” You take a deep breath, stealing glances at her, still turned away from you. “Just know that, should you wish to speak, I will gladly listen to what's troubling you, my heart."
Eula's voice wavers softly in the stillness between you.
"Even if I opened my heart to you, you wouldn’t understand... You might even end up hurting me.”
What?
"Why do you think that?"
You can’t help but ask, genuine concern lacing your words. Her response comes as a whisper, weighted with vulnerability. One she hadn’t allowed you to see before.
"My life is full of complicated issues. Even if I shared everything with you, you would never understand what drives me to do what I do…"
For a moment, you say nothing. But then, you let your hand tentatively find hers, softly in the way you touch her cold skin, despite the fire burning.
"Try me, my love." You encourage her, tender and gentle. "I want to understand."
And surprisingly, against all odds, Eula turns to you. Her winter eyes are heavy with everything you just don’t know yet, and then something else. Resolve.
With a sigh, Eula begins to open up.
"You really want to hear it? Perhaps it’s best that I do not burden you with this…" Her tone wavers, a mix of hesitation and resignation. But she’s almost there. She just needs a little push.
"Nothing of yours could ever be a burden, my heart." You assure her, your grip on her hand gentle but oh, so firm. "I promise."
Resolute now, Eula continues.
"Well, if you think you are able to face this, then I shall tell you. But you must listen closely. I've been harboring this secret for a long time now…"
Her voice drops to a whisper, the vulnerability in her words touching your heart and painting it blue. "I was once abandoned by someone close to me. Because of that, I am afraid of making myself vulnerable. Once I become intimate with someone, the threat of abandonment returns and causes me constant mental torment. This makes it difficult for me to accept the affection of others, even if deep in my heart I really do want it, perhaps more than anything else in the world… I do not wish to be seen as a weakling, so I refuse to acknowledge my weakness…"
A sigh escapes her lips as she pushes forward, revealing more of her inner thoughts for your ears only.
"I don't know how to accept what you're giving me. You may already have figured this out, but I'm not very good at expressing or demonstrating my feelings. I fear I may be unable to give you what I want in return, which is a happy and normal relationship. I'm afraid, so frightened that I've shut you out and pushed you aside. If I allow myself to open my heart to you, I may only be met with more despair, betrayal… Disappointment…"
As her words die off, you let them hang in the air for just a moment, taking them all in. Eventually, your voice takes on a tender quality as you respond to her inner struggles.
"I know you've been hurt in the past, but if you close yourself off to love and affection now, you might find yourself leading a very lonely life, Eula.” You stretch your hands out to her in offering. “I can only offer you what I have, words of love for you and a heart that swells when you're around. I don't mind waiting and taking things slow, if that would make you more comfortable. I just want to be by your side, if you'll let me."
Eula's gaze meets yours, a complex array of emotions shimmering within her beautiful eyes, and you feel the tightness in your chest a little more present.
"Perhaps I am the issue. That I am unable to accept your love and support… I can't bear the thought of losing you someday. I don't want you to leave me the way everyone else has… I am so terrified, and so lonely… And you… You are the only one who can understand me, so I can't bear to lose you, too.”
The vulnerability in her words overwhelms your heart, pushing you to take both of her hands in yours, pressing a tender kiss to each of her fingers. Loving, loving, loving.
"You won't lose me. Not tonight, or in the foreseeable future. I promise, Eula. I will stay with you as long as you want me to."
And to that, to your gentle words of affection, to the tenderness in your touch, to the gentleness of your lips against her cold fingers, Eula’s beautiful eyes fill with tears.
“Thank you…”
She leans her head against your shoulder, finally, finally allowing herself a moment of peace. You hold her close, fast and quickly, like you can’t bear the thought of not taking her in your arms now, caressing her back slowly.
“I won’t try to push my affection on you anymore, okay? We’ll go at your pace. I’m just happy to be with you.”
And when Eula pulls you close to her, closer still, her chest pressed against yours with an intimacy far too beautiful to oversee, you find your answer tucked there.
“Thank you… Thank you for waiting for me all this time… I promise to repay your love tenfold.”
She presses a kiss on your cheek, then leans her head on your shoulder and gazes up at the beautiful stars above. And you think that waiting can’t be a terrible thing. Not if you can hold her as closely for just a moment longer.
"That was such good training, my love!" You exclaim, offering her a towel to wipe off the exertion after a long session of bow practice that you’ve been witnessing for the better part of the last hour. "You did great."
Sara bows in acknowledgment, a gracious and beautiful smile on her lips.
"Thank you very much! I always give it my best. If I am able to keep training and become stronger, then I can help protect more people. The people I care about are always on my mind, and I want to do the best I can to help them. My love for the people I care about is the reason I train day and night."
Your smile softens as you take in her dedication. It’s one of the many, many things you adore about her.
"I really admire how dedicated you are, my love."
Sara’s smile grows, radiating a sense of purpose, feeling good with your compliment.
"I am glad you can see that I am truly dedicated to the people we care about. With the help of my fellow samurai, I do everything I can to ensure that Inazuma is a safe place for everyone."
"You're so strong." You murmur, your gaze lifting to meet hers. Your chest swells with affection. And then, something else. "I can't help but…"
"Cannot help but what, my love?” Sara's brow arches in curiosity as she waits for you to continue. When you don’t reply, she insists. “What's on your mind? You know you can tell me anything."
You hesitate, your words carrying a hint of self-doubt, terrible in your ears.
"Oh, never mind. It's silly."
"My love, nothing is ever silly when you share it with me. Your thoughts, no matter how trivial they may seem, are important to me.” With gentle insistence, Sara steps closer to you, her hands finding a place for them on your shoulders. “If something's on your mind, please, don't hesitate to tell me."
A wistful smile tugs at your lips.
"Well… I can't help but feel that I'm way out of my league here… Being with you…"
Oh, how stupid you feel the moment those words leave your lips. You regret them immediately.
But Sara's touch is comforting as she steps toward you, her presence reassuring like she’s always been, a source of comfort and love where you always find your shelter and home.
"My love, you are never out of your league when it comes to me. I do not care about positions or statuses. All I care about when I'm with you is you. You will always be enough for me, no matter what."
"But… You're such a strong and resilient warrior, and I'm just… me." You shrug, a sense of vulnerability creeping into your words. You’ve started this. May as well go all the way, let your inner most troubles shine through in the dim light of the evening sun. "There's got to be someone out there who's better for you, I…"
Sara's voice resonates with a deep sincerity as she addresses your concerns, cutting them short.
"My love, I have searched far and wide across the continent for someone who could fill the empty space in my heart. Yet, when I found you, that emptiness vanished as if you were the missing piece I'd been looking for.” Her voice is stern, but her eyes are so filled with poorly-hidden affection for you. “I couldn't want anyone more than you, and I mean that with all my heart. You are the one for me, and I don't wish for anyone else but you."
You cannot help but be moved by her words, your eyes welling up with unshed tears, carrying all your doubts.
"You mean it?"
Sara leans forward, her gentle touch wiping away your tears. The brush of her thumb across the tender skin of your cheeks is so gentle that you can’t fight the closing of your eyes.
"My love, I mean it with every fiber of my being. There is no one else but you for me. I am happier than I've ever been, and I know that being with you is exactly where I'm meant to be. You are the person I needed, and I'm not leaving your side."
You clutch onto her clothing, as if grounding yourself in her presence. You know you might be a little selfish, asking for this much reassurance, but you can’t help but want more. To need more of her.
"You really mean those words? You won't leave me?"
Sara's touch remains tender as she cups your cheek, and you melt in the way her eyes brim with love for you.
"My love, my words carry the weight of my truth. I don't wish to leave your side, now or ever. I don't know how much longer it would take for my heart to mend if you were to leave. I'm not sure it ever would. I will do everything in my power to ensure we are never separated. You are the only one I need, and I don't desire anyone else in my life."
Your vulnerability defrosts in her arms as she presses a gentle kiss to your forehead. Your lips bloom into a smile. Quiet, small. But it’s a beginning.
"Thank you for saying that… You have no idea how much it means to me."
"My love, every word is sincere.” Sara assures you, her voice a soothing balm to the scars and stitches hidden in your heart. "You are such an integral part of my life, and I'm grateful every day for having you. You mean a great deal to me as well, and I can't fathom what life would be without you."
And with that, you cannot help yourself. You reach up, holding the side of her face as you lean to her. Your lips find hers in a tender kiss. And you whisper,
"I love you.”
Of course, Sara is quick to smile at that, beautiful and reverent.
"I love you too, my dear." She doesn’t hesitate to say, the affection evident in her tone. "I consider myself fortunate to have found you."
Apologizing for your sentimentality, you sheepishly admit, "Sorry for being sappy."
But still, you watch Sara chuckle warmly, pulling you into a gentle embrace that you absolutely enjoy, taking her all in.
"My love, there's no need to apologize. There's no such thing as being too sappy. Expressing your emotions is a beautiful thing, and it's heartwarming to see how much you care. Don't hesitate to share your love with me."
With a contented smile, you lean in closer. Closer still.
"Shall we do something fun now? After this heartfelt conversation?"
You delight in the way Sara's eyes light up with enthusiasm. For your eyes only. How lucky you feel.
"That sounds wonderful, my love. How about a visit to the beach or a peaceful picnic? Those are two of my favorite ways to unwind and enjoy time with the ones I cherish."
"The beach sounds perfect." You smile, your excitement mirroring hers. "It's been a while since we've enjoyed the sea together."
"I would love that." She replies to you with a gentle smile, colored with all the love she harbors for you in every inch of her being. "I'm sure the beach is just as breathtaking as I remember. It's been far too long since I've felt the sea breeze and the warmth of the sun. It's the ideal way to spend an afternoon, together."

Asking For Her Affection
Characters: Candace and Kokomi x GN!Reader.
Warnings: A very mild version of jealousy and possesiveness.
Notes: It's the first time I'm writing Candace, so I hope this a nice way to welcome her to my blog! I hope you enjoy this :)
The air of the dessert is a little rough on your skin as you stroll through the village. It’s not something you despise. In fact, it adds to the charm of this beautiful place that you’ve learned to love. For it’s kind and hardworking people, for the stars in the bright sky at night, but most of all, for the woman who is gracefully walking next to you now.
You turn to her, a smile dancing on your lips as you see Candace. The people around stop to wave at her, saying words of appreciation or showing her a wound that healed nicely thanks to her advice. Candace’s eyes light up as she receives their words, her own smile the most precious treasure in this side of the desert.
As you watch her thrive among the praises and warm words for her, you feel your chest tighten with affection. You love her more than you can say, the threads of your heart pulling you closer to her until you’re holding her hand in yours. Candace watches you with a light flush as you press a kiss to her hand.
“Feeling affectionate, my heart?” Her smile is radiant, glowing and so familiar.
You kiss her hand again. Then, her arm. Her shoulder. You tug at her lightly so that she’s closer to you. Closer still.
“You could say that.” Your lips caress her skin so gently, almost like the drops of sand caressing the ground below. “Everyone loves you so much, but… I kinda want you all to myself right now.”
Candace’s eyes widen, just a little. She’s usually collected, but no one can read her subtle changes in expression better than you can, after all this time. The faint blush adorning her cheeks isn’t lost to you, either.
“Oh, darling… I’m just not sure this is the appropriate place for such affection.”
You can hear the embarrassment in her voice, just a little. That fuels something within you, a playful side that only comes out when she’s looking at you with those mismatched eyes full of poorly-concealed emotions. You insist.
“Come on, it will be alright.” Your hand travels up her arm, her shoulder, tracing the line of her clavicle, incessant. “Don’t you want everyone to know how much I adore you?”
You watch the hesitance cross her beautiful eyes, and you wait for the glimpse of her smile. Instead, she shakes her head, lowering your hand with an apologetic stare.
“You know I appreciate your affection endlessly, my heart, but I prefer keeping our love private. I hope you understand."
She says, but you’re still feeling the playful tug in your chest. You pout, hoping to bribe her with your most endearing act. It has worked more times than you thought it would, truthfully.
Candace watches your expression and her eyes soften around the corners.
"Alright, alright, you win. No need to pout, my dear. I'll give you a kiss when we get home. No, I will give you as many as you desire. Will that suffice?"
She graces your hand with soft fingers, light like the morning breeze over the slopes of the desert, but it’s still not enough.
Just then, you spot Dehya sitting at the tavern you’re just passing by, and a mischievous thought crosses your mind. You really don’t fight the urge.
“If it isn’t Dehya in the flesh,” you begin with a grin, you approach your old friend, leaning over her with glistening eyes. “Would you mind if I sat with you for a minute? In fact, would you mind if I sat on your lap, my friend?”
Dehya’s eyes widen in surprise. You watch her cheeks grow a darker shade, her hand frozen over holding her drink. Before she can reply, you place yourself on her lap, wrapping your arms around her neck, just like you had wanted to do with Candace. Though this time, you exaggerate your movements. You know she’s watching.
Dehya swallows, her voice faint with confusion when she says, “Uh… Sure?”
From the corner of your eye, you watch Candace’s reaction. You find delight in the way her eyes seem to open further, watching you rest your weight on someone that isn’t her. Her mismatched eyes flash with emotions— Amusement, jealousy, and perhaps even a hint of possessiveness. You’re thrilled.
After a few more empty words exchanged with Dehya, you get off her lap and bid her farewell, leaving her stunned and even more flustered. You will buy her a drink later on to make up for the scene you did today.
Grinning from ear to ear, you return to Candace. The playful sigh that leaves her lips is music to your ears.
“Alright, I see what you did there.” She says, giving in and interlacing her fingers with yours. You notice her touch tightening around you, the possessiveness leaking through her perfectly-crafted expression of calmness. You really are delighted. “You win this time.”
Pulling her close, you can’t help but press a kiss on her lips, palming her face with your free hand. Your voice is nothing but sweet when you whisper, “I love you and only you, my dear. I hope you know that.”
And you watch Candace defrost in your hands, her eyes swelling with the same affection that you feel for her.
She smiles, realizing that even though she might feel shy about displaying affection in public, she really can’t resist your playful charm when you make good use of it.
From that day forward, you find a balance between private and public displays of affection, strengthening your bond and making each other feel loved in every possible way, and you adore every single second of it.
The air is salty and the ocean breeze carries the delightful laughter of Kokomi as you walk down the bustling island of Watatsumi.
Hand in hand, you enjoy the moment sharing stories and comfortable discussions about any given topic you can think of, your mind and heart at ease with your girlfriend by your side. Part of you knows that she’s not prone to being too affectionate in public, but the other more insistent part of you is really resisting the urge to shower her gentle hands and her lovely features with your loving kisses. You’re trying very hard, honest.
But when you pass by a quaint teahouse, the surroundings less crowded, you can’t help but lean in to her. You place a strand of soft pink hair behind her ear, whispering all too close to her,
“My love… Wouldn't it be fun to steal a kiss right here?"
Kokomi chuckles softly, the beautiful sound echoing through the chambers of your rose-colored heart, and you drink in the embarrassment that blooms in her cheeks at your proximity.
"As much as I'd love to, my dear, I prefer to keep our affection private."
How delightfully disappointing. You tug on her hands, your affection pouring out of you and seeking release. Your voice is a soft thing in her ears.
“Just a little kiss, my dear? No one will notice, I promise.”
But Kokomi shakes her head gently, locks of beautiful pink hair cascading down her back as she speaks, formal and polite and righteous as ever.
"I'm sorry, my love. I'm the Sangonomiya Clan's Divine Priestess, and maintaining a certain image is essential. It's not that I don't want to, but… I do have responsibilities to uphold. You know this."
“Is that how it is…”
For a moment, you’re torn between dropping the subject and teasing her further. But just then, you see a familiar face from the corner of your eye, and you suddenly have no say in the matter.
Your lips curve into a mischievous smile.
“Oh, look! There's Ayaka!” You wave at her enthusiastically, watching her kindly wave back at you, a polite smile dancing on her lips. You wink at Kokomi. "I wonder if she would grant me a little favor."
“What are you—”
You don’t give her the chance to finish the sentence. With quick steps, you’re soon next to Ayaka, playfully taking her hands in yours. Your eyes are a dangerous thing.
“Ayaka, may I have a kiss? Just one, I wouldn’t dare take more from you.”
Ayaka’s face is bright red in an instant. From her neck to the tips of her ears, you find amusement in the deep shade of scarlet that colors her skin, more than taken aback from your unexpected request.
“I— I am— I mean, you— Um—!”
She stammers, and you can’t help the chuckle that leaves your lips. Still with her hands in yours, you raise them up to your lips. Softly, you press a kiss to her gentle skin, leaving her more than flustered.
“There.” Your smile is sweet, innocent even. You let go of her altogether. “Just one, as I promised. I won’t trouble you further, my lady.”
And, with that, you turn on your heels and leave an incredibly flustered Ayaka catching her breath, light in the head.
Going back to Kokomi with a playful grin, you can’t help but notice the protective expression in her eyes. For a moment, you’re afraid you might’ve gone too far with this.
“I was playing, Kokomi. You know I only have eyes for y—”
Kokomi grabs the hem of your shirt and presses her mouth to yours, her lips finding yours with urgency. You close your eyes and let her have her way with you for those seconds that last a lifetime, almost. Then, she pulls away from you, cheeks flustered, brow furrowed.
“Just this once.” The possessiveness in her voice delights you to no end. “But don’t do that again. Promise me.”
And you soften, wanting nothing more than giving her everything she possibly asks of you.
“I promise you, my heart.” Now it’s her hands you’re kissing. Tender, affectionate, not enough for you, just enough for her. “You’re the only one for me, Kokomi.”
You listen to her laugh softly, and your heart soars, relieved that it was all in good fun.
"You know you're the only one for me too, my love.” She strokes your hand lightly. “I adore you, and I'm glad you understand why I can't be too affectionate in public."
And you choose to understand this time, because you love her more than words can say, and sometimes loving means compromising, too.
"Of course, my heart. Your responsibilities are important, and I respect that. Besides, I wouldn't want to make you uncomfortable.” Your lips grow into a smile, genuine in the motion. “Our love is special, no matter where we are."
Just like that, you continue your walk. As you make your way home, Kokomi leans in and presses a gentle peck on your cheek, a sweet compromise between public decorum and her affection for you, too.
And you can’t help but feel that there is a loving happiness in balance.

It’s been a while since i made a request lol, so you’re gonna be the 1st one since then.
Here : « Reader asks for a favor (like cuddles, sitting on her lap, a kiss…) in public but her gf refuses to do it, so instead R acts like child: pouts, silent treatment and asks the same favor to someone else in front of her girlfriend ! »
I don’t know if you do Sumeru’s girls; soo if yes : Candace, if not, maybe : Kokomi and any girls of your choice who have lot of prides :D Thank youu <3 ! Have a good day/night

Welcome back!! I hope you enjoyed your well deserved rest ( ◜‿◝ )♡! If it may not be so much to ask may I request an x fem reader scenario where Jean/Lisa and Eula try to point out to the reader that there's something on their face (by tapping their own cheek) but the reader mistakes it as the girls asking for a kiss.
🤭🤭
Accidental Cheek Kiss
Characters: Jean and Eula x Fem!Reader.
Warnings: None that apply!
Notes: Sorry for the wait, I've been overcome by sapphism and wrote a 55k word fanfic in the last 2 weeks but now I'm back to tumblr reqs. I hope you enjoy!
The evening sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over Mondstadt, the city of freedom.
You and Jean were enjoying a peaceful walk through the city, hand in hand, enjoying each other's company and the soft touch of your fingers intertwined. You had been eating ice cream before. The weather is starting to warm again in this beautiful city and Jean was kind enough to treat you to a delicious snack.
You must’ve accidentally not wiped your face accordingly, because Jean notices a small smudge of chocolate on your cheek. Being the polite woman she is, she dearly doesn’t want to embarrass you, so she gently taps her own cheek when you look at her, silently indicating the smudge.
To you though, seeing your girlfriend smiling softly at you and tapping her cheek meant a different thing entirely.
"Oh, Jean, you want a kiss?" You say, smiling playfully.
It’s adorable how fast Jean’s cheeks flush.
"Oh, no, I was just trying to point something out on your face.” Her voice is quiet, like she’s sharing a secret with you. “There's a bit of chocolate, I believe."
Your lips bloom into a smile, your heart warmed by the sweet expression in her face.
"Well, I think you deserve a kiss for being so sweet.” You lean to her playfully, watching the pink in her cheeks deepen delightfully. “Come here."
Before she can reply, you surprise Jean with a gentle kiss to her lips.
Jean melts into the kiss, her tense expression defrosting in your hands as your soft lips meet hers, her eyes fluttering close to the sweet sensation of your gentle touch against her skin.
When you pull apart, Jean’s cheeks are blooming with pretty crimson colors. She stammers.
"W-well, thank you for the kiss, but… Really, there's something on your cheek."
She insists, and you let out a chuckle.
"Oops, I guess I got carried away.” You say softly, wiping your own cheek where, effectively enough, there was a bit of chocolate from before. “Sorry, Jean."
But Jean’s lips curve into a soft smile, one of those that she gifts for your eyes only during the late hours of the evening, a window to the harbor of affection she holds for you deep inside.
“It's quite alright. Your surprises are always welcome, my love.”
And just like that, you interlace your fingers with hers again and you resume your strolling around the city. From the corner of your eye you notice that Jean is still flustered by your sudden kiss, and the thought makes you feel bubbly inside. She is usually the composed and level-headed one, but you have come to realize you have a way of turning her thoughts into a whirlwind of emotions, and you exploit this fact more often than not.
You lean against her, your shoulders brushing.
"You know, Jean, you're really cute when you get flustered."
And just like that, you can hear Jean swallow before she speaks, trying to regain her composure.
"I-I am not cute. I am the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius, after all.”
"Oh, so the mighty Jean does get flustered sometimes?" You’re incessant.
"Alright, fine, perhaps I do.” Jean’s gaze softens, finding your eyes. “But only around you."
"Good to know I have that effect on you.” Your smile is bright, like you’ve won the most expensive prize at a fair. You intend to keep winning. “But you know what? You're cute when you're flustered, and you're even cuter when you smile."
You watch Jean’s blush deepen in silent delight, relishing in the way her fingers twitch in yours. Her smile doesn’t falter.
"You always know how to make me smile, even in the most unexpected ways."
As the night grows darker, you continue your walk, sharing laughter and affectionate glances now and then, here and there. The city lights illuminate your path as you walk, but the real light comes from the warmth you feel for each other.
"You know, Jean, I love these quiet moments with you."
You allow the truth to settle in the comfortable space between you, and Jean’s eyes find yours, evidently affectionate.
"As do I. It's in these moments that I feel closest to you."
You lean your head on her shoulder, closing your eyes briefly and taking in the entirety of her close to you.
"Thank you for being a part of my life, Jean."
"And thank you for being a part of mine, my love."
You take in the softness of her voice, and you think of how your love has been a beautiful journey filled with surprises, laughter, and, of course, a touch of endearing fluster when Jean allows it.
With you by her side, Jean feels a happiness she had never held so close to her chest before. And your love will continue to grow, guided by the genuine affection you hold for one another, as you navigate the beautiful and unpredictable path ahead in the hand of the one you love most.
It’s a beautiful starry night in Mondstadt, and Eula is enjoying a peaceful stroll along the city's illuminated streets. With you, of course, her beloved girlfriend. The night breeze dances playfully around the two of you as you talk about everything and nothing and your quiet laughter fills the night air with ease.
Eula notices a tiny speck on your cheek, probably a remnant of the dinner you’ve just shared together, and decides to gently point it out. With a faint blush dusting her cheeks, Eula taps her own cheek in hopes that you notice and wipe it off.
However, you misunderstand the gesture and think Eula is asking for a kiss. What other thing can this sweet gesture possibly mean, right?
Feeling a rush of excitement and thinking you understood Eula's intentions, you easily lean in and plant a surprise kiss on Eula's cheek, your lips warm and full of affection for her.
Eula is instantly taken aback, her beautiful eyes widening in surprise and her face flushing a shade of pink that matches the setting of the sun beyond the two of you.
"E-Excuse me! I-I didn't mean…"
Eula stammers, her usually composed demeanor momentarily lost in the whirlwind of emotions, her cheek still feeling the ghost of your lips upon it.
Seeing her surprised expression, the misunderstanding dawns on you.
"Oh, I'm so sorry! I thought you wanted a kiss!"
You’re quick to say, leaning away from her a little.
Embarrassment fills the air as the two of you look at each other, both caught in a mix of flustered emotions blossoming brightly under your cheeks.
But then, you watch the birth of a smile in Eula’s gentle lips.
"No, no, it's quite alright.”
She says, her voice surprisingly soft and tender after a moment of gathering her thoughts. Though your cheeks still feel flushed, you clear your throat, feeling a tinge of relief.
"I hope I didn't offend you. It was just a misunderstanding."
You watch Eula shake her head, locks of beautiful blue hair falling over her shoulders at the motion. Her sharp eyes soften when they meet yours.
"Not at all. It's just… I wanted to tell you that there was something on your cheek, but it seems I've muddled my intentions."
You feel the tension ease and you chuckle softly.
"Well, you definitely surprised me, that's for sure."
"I apologize for any confusion," Eula says sincerely. Then, her smile grows into something bolder. "But if you'd still like that kiss you offered, I would be more than happy to oblige."
And you can’t help but smile warmly, reaching out to cup Eula's cheek with your tender touch.
"I would love that."
You whisper before leaning in and giving Eula a gentle kiss on the lips, relishing in her warmth under your tender skin, the familiarity of it and yet the exhilaration it brings to your every bone.
Eula's eyes widen once more, her cheeks growing an even deeper shade of red at your contact. But this time, she doesn’t pull away. Instead, she allows herself to savor the sweet and unexpected moment, the warmth of your affection warming her heart like the rays of the sun over the slope in the cold Dragonspine.
As the night continues, you and Eula walk hand in hand, your hearts fluttering with newfound emotions and a connection deepened by a simple misunderstanding that turned into a precious memory. Under the stars of Mondstadt, you feel ever so certain that your love for her and her love for you will continue to grow with the ebb of time, turning every moment together into a wonderful experience.

hiiii if it's not too much to ask, can you write some fluff hc with Raiden or Ayaka. I hope you have a nice day!!! <3
Fluff Headcanons with Raiden and Ayaka
Characters: Ayaka and Raiden Shogun x GN!Reader.
Warnings: None that apply!
Notes: I love these two with my whole heart, they're very soft when they're in love <3
You and Ayaka often enjoy strolling through the streets of Inazuma together, hand in hand, because Ayaka is always searching for more ways to be close to you. You savor the peaceful moments, relishing in each other's company and the beauty of the city's architecture while you walk down the paths, the breeze caressing your cheeks and you delight in the sounds of the bustling city around you, by the hand of the one you love the most.
During chilly evenings, you and Ayaka share warm cups of tea at the Kamisato Estate. You often find yourselves having deep and really interesting conversations about your dreams, fears, and aspirations for the future. Sharing personal stories and experiences always makes your bond with her bloom, and you feel safer and more comfortable with her as the time passes.
Ayaka loves to show you around Inazuma's stunning gardens and natural landscapes. Ayaka is very passionate when it comes to nature, given the little time she has to spend outside, and she treasures these stolen moments in time with you. You spend hours together, as many as Ayaka can spare, marveling at the beautiful flowers and the colorful and lively animals, making precious memories together neither of you will forget.
Sometimes, you and Ayaka indulge in light-hearted snowball fights during winter in Inazuma. Growing up, Ayaka didn’t really have the time to play like other kids when it was snowing outside, and you’ve made it your mission to have her experience as many wonderful and fun things as you can with her, winter included! Laughter fills the air as you playfully chase each other through the snow-covered streets, and she treasures these moments of fun with you.
Ayaka is an excellent chef, and she often surprises you with delightful homemade meals. You have private and little cooking competitions together, trying to outdo each other in the kitchen, but it always ends in giggles and shared delicious treats. Thoma sometimes joins as the culinary expert and judges your dishes, and you’re starting to suspect it’s a little strange how Ayaka seems to win more often than not. When Ayato joins the games though, the results tend to be more fair!
You teach Ayaka new customs and traditions from your homeland to her, she’s an avid learner and she always enjoys learning about you and your culture; and Ayaka introduces you to Inazuma's unique culture, her love and passion for her nation always manages to warm your heart. You both grow from the experience, deepening your understanding of each other's backgrounds and life stories, and you feel more connected to her than before.
You and Ayaka take breaks from your adventurous duties to lie on a grassy hill whenever Ayaka manages to steal the time from her busy schedule. You love to gaze at the stars, holding her hand softly in yours. You two talk about your wishes and hopes for the future, feeling the comfort of being understood and supported by the person you love the most in the entirety of the world.
Ayaka surprises you with impromptu picnics in picturesque spots around Inazuma when she can spare the time, always helped by Ayato to make the delicious treats she’ll share with you. You savor the serene moments together, cherishing the simple joys of life as the gentle breeze plays with your hair.
Sometimes, you and Ayaka participate in friendly sparring matches to stay in shape, an activity that she loves more than she says. You push each other to become stronger, all while having fun and cheering the other on. You learn so much from her, and she learns from your fighting technique too. And after sparring, you can always enjoy a comforting bath together.
If you and Ayaka happen to share a love for poetry, you often exchange heartfelt verses you've written for one another, writing down your affection through beautiful words and voicing them for the other’s ears only. It made you feel a bit embarrassing at first but you’ve grown to love the intimacy of these moments with her, simply sharing what’s in your heart and how loved she always makes you feel.
Despite her stern and composed exterior, Ei secretly enjoys spending quiet and serene moments with you, finding solace in your presence. She’s used to being alone, having been so for quite some time now, more than you can comprehend. But you’ve managed to make yourself at home within the frozen chambers of her heart, and she finds comforting the moments she steals to be with you.
You often find Ei lost in her thoughts, contemplating the burdens of leadership and the responsibilities that come with her role, so you’re always ready to offer a listening ear and a comforting shoulder for her to lean on during these moments of vulnerability, and Ei appreciates your support, affection and understanding more than words can say.
Ei and you share a love for traditional music, especially for Inazuman cultural music, and sometimes you play soothing melodies together. It’s not often it happens, but whenever you find the time now, you love making a calming atmosphere together that lets Ei momentarily escape her duties and simply relax and be herself with you.
You bring little treats and snacks from other regions to her, knowing how much she loves sweets, introducing Ei to new flavors and culinary experiences! She deeply, deeply appreciates these thoughtful gestures and finds herself smiling more in your company. Is it yourself by her side or is it that you bring her sweets?
Ei and you engage in philosophical discussions about the nature of power and the importance of compassion in leadership, things that she struggles with after recent events. You want to be there to share your opinion, even if not as throughout as hers is, but you’ll always be there to offer the more humane side of the conversation so she can balance her decisions. Through these conversations, you both learn from each other's perspectives and grow together, and Ei always loves listening to you and sharing your opinions together.
Despite her disciplined nature, Ei is not immune to the joys of occasional playfulness, as one would think! You often catch her smiling softly at your lighthearted antics, her sharp eyes softening on yours only. You cherish these rare glimpses of her lighter side, knowing she only allows herself to be soft and gentle when it’s you around her, her safe place in this world.
Ei appreciates your sincerity and honesty above basically all else, and she appreciates too that you are unafraid to voice your true feelings and opinions to her. You’re not scared that she’s the lightning archon, you’ve grown past that and seen her for who she really is. This openness that you have with her blooms a deep trust she places on you only, making your relationship and bond to her stronger still.
You encourage Ei to take breaks from her duties and go on small excursions with you outside the realm of the Electro Archon's responsibilities, since she’s always stuck in the Plane of Euthymia and you know it’s good for her to take a break now and then. These moments let Ei experience life as a regular person, like another human (maybe not an ordinary one!), away from the weight of leadership. Ei appreciates these moments of easy life with you and secretly wishes it could be like that more often.
Ei and you enjoy stargazing together too, always finding peace and wonder in the night sky and the stars that color the vault above. You share stories about the stars, the galaxies, the constellations, the ancient stories buried behind them; and you create your own constellations too, drawing with your fingers in the sky the shape of the stars, measured only by the amount of love the bond between the two of you carries.
Sometimes, you leave small notes or poems for Ei to find throughout the day, especially on the days you know she’s going to be especially more tired or bothered by current events. These heartfelt gestures and lovely words of affection never fail to bring a soft smile to the Electro Archon's face, reminding her that she is cherished and cared for, no matter how busy she is, by someone who means the world to her.
If you enjoyed this, please consider liking or reblogging it <3!

Can you do first date headcanons between Hu Tao and an insecure GN reader?
First date headcanons between Hu Tao and an insecure GN reader
Characters: Hu Tao x GN!Reader.
Warnings: None, all fluff!
Notes: Thank you for the request! Any opportunity to write the gremlin is a good one. I hope you enjoy :)
Hu Tao would suggest going to a peaceful and quiet spot for the first date, like a beautiful garden or a serene riverside, where you can feel more at ease around her. She knows you want this first date with her and she wants it too, that’s why she will try extra hard to make everything as comfortable for you as possible. She wants to get to know the real you, not the nervous version of you!
You would feel nervous and unsure at first when you arrive, but Hu Tao's playful and quirky personality will certainly help you relax and gradually open up to her. She will try to be her cheerful self around you to show you there’s nothing to worry about, you can be your true self around her too!
Hu Tao notices that you’re feeling insecure and tries to make you feel comfortable as well by sharing her own embarrassing stories and awkward moments. She wants you to feel like there’s nothing to be embarrassed about when you’re with her, she’ll gladly share her intimate stories so you two can have a laugh together and loosen the mood.
During the date, Hu Tao surprises you with little gifts and trinkets she picked up on her adventures, like pretty flowers, especially beautiful rocks or flashy bugs, if you’ve mentioned you like them. She wants to show you that she's thoughtful and attentive to things you might like, too.
She plans different fun activities to do together, like scavenger hunts or stargazing. She makes these fun plans that help you focus on the shared experiences with her rather than your own insecurities. If you’re too busy having fun, you won’t feel nervous!
Hu Tao compliments you sincerely, highlighting your unique qualities and making you feel appreciated and valued. She loves gushing about you! Give her the opportunity and she will start mentioning all the little things she likes about you. That may be a little embarrassing to you, but she’s having a good time. She just wants you to know how much of you there is to love.
As the date goes on, you will start to feel more confident around her, thanks to Hu Tao's constant encouraging and uplifting words. She lets you know how well you’re doing, listening intently to you when you tell a story and encouraging you to go on.
At some point, you start talking about the passions or hobbies you two have in common, or maybe things that you alone like, and Hu Tao genuinely shows interest and asks questions to you, showing that she cares about getting to know you better in however way you want her to.
Towards the end of the date, Hu Tao surprises you with a heartfelt poem she composed on the spot while comfortably being with you. She wants you to know she enjoyed spending time with you, and what better way to express such a lovely sentiment than with a poem, right?
As you say goodbye for the night, Hu Tao assures you that she had a fantastic time and would love to go on another date with you, leaving you with a sense of happiness and confidence that you didn’t have before. She makes sure to leave you home happy that you’ve spent time with her, and she would love to see you again too. What do you say?

Dear comrade,
I’m glad we could talk as we used to! And to answer your question regarding Fontaine, yes, you’re right. I’ve stopped playing Genshin ever since Sumeru and Dendro came out (which means I’m stuck in the Inazuma era and have no clue what the new characters are like 0_0), but I’ve read plenty of fics with said characters, so I feel like I should know what their personalities are like.
To be completely honest, the Fontaine leak made me want to pick up Genshin, but the files are way too big that my phone would overheat you swear you could cook hamburgers with it. Also saving some space on my PC because Star Rail has occupied most of the space anyway!
Thank you for sparing the time replying to my asks, I’ve been wanting to share with you some ideas I came across while reading Genshin fics on AO3, hopefully I can share them with you on my next ask.
Cheers!

Dear 💍 anon,
Oh dear, the Inazuma Story Quest was so long ago, hahah! But it's still my favorite to this day, it was very exciting and overall really good. Even if you're not playing, it's fun to still keep up with the leaks and stories now and then, or with the characters like you do!
If you play on the phone, then no wonder! I only have Cookie Run in my phone and it already overheats, I cannot think what it would be like if it was Genshin instead, and it keeps getting bigger!
Thank you for taking the time to write to me, I appreciate it very much and I have fun talking with you, always :)
I would be delighted to hear about your ideas, of course! Feel free to send them my way whenever you're able, friend.
Sending you a big hug <3!

Dear comrade,
I am thrilled to have you back on tumblr (and I’m sure the other readers as well)! So far my week has been good, hopefully I won’t get too stressed until the weekend comes. Speaking of interests, I’ve been playing Honkai Star Rail, and I’m really enjoying it since I first downloaded it on my PC. Even though the playstyle is very much different from that of Genshin, I still preferred it over the latter (though Genshin will always have a special place on my heart). Now I was wondering, do you play Honkai Star Rail, comrade?
All the best,
💍 anon
Hello dear 💍 anon !!
I'm still very happy we get to talk like this again, thank you for being here! I hope you had a good week full of peaceful and nice moments.
I've been playing Honkai Star Rail too :) I very much like it so far, but I'm not as aware of the plot or the characters like I am with Genshin. I still enjoy it very much, it's fun!
Speaking of Genshin, I'm guessing you won't play the Fontaine storyline that's coming? Just asking :)
I hope you're alright in your side of the world, my friend.

hii! can i req wanderer/scara with an like insecure reader who doesn't like their hips and is insecure about them? thank u! doesn't matter if sfw or nsfw!
I like your hips (And all of you)
Characters: Wanderer x GN!Reader.
Warnings: Not SFW and not NSFW but a secret third thing: Sensual innuendo, nothing sexual happening.
Notes: This was quite soft and I liked the prompt, I'm always down for some hurt/comfort time. I hope you know you're beautiful and loved, my friend. And I hope you enjoy this, too :)
It’s only when you hear his heavy steps approaching your room that you remember how long you’ve been standing in the same position. In front of the mirror in your room, clothes discarded and scattered over the bed, others held tightly in your grasp, none of them valid, none of them good enough.
Wanderer enters the room soon, you hear the familiar steps stop shy of where you’re standing. You’re going out tonight with him. It’s not a celebration of any sorts, no anniversary or birthday. It’s a simple day that you were supposed to enjoy together, in the happy company of the other. Until you took long enough getting ready that moved him to walk into your room, leaning against the door frame, and say,
“Hey. What’s the hold up?”
He’s watching you with a small smile, raising an eyebrow when you turn to look at him. You’re not entirely sure why, maybe it’s because he just walked into a moment of vulnerability with yourself, but you feel a soft blush climb up your cheeks.
“Oh, my heart. No, no. I’m just…” You think of the words you’re going to choose next. “Having a little trouble picking the outfit, is all”
Wanderer takes a couple of slow, steady steps forward. He situates himself right behind you. You can see him in front of you, reflected in the mirror. His piercing gaze and the soft locks of his hair falling over his eyes. He turns his gaze to the choices of clothing that you’ve laid out before you, discarded over the bed.
“That’s quite the selection…” You watch his reflection in the mirror draw a playful smile. “But I've got a better idea…”
You turn to him now, opting to watch the real thing instead of his diminished reflection on your mirror. You find his eyes.
“What is it?”
“Come here… Come close, let’s try something else…”
Wanderer holds the hem of your shirt and tugs you closer to him, his fingers now brushing softly against the skin of your chin. With his gentle touch, he moves your head up so that your eyes find his own, sharper on yours, but still so full of poorly guarded affection.
You cannot help but feel the rush of blood through your cheeks as he does.
“What… Do you want to try?”
“Just this…” He leans down to kiss you, but pauses when his lips are only short of yours for a breath. He speaks, sending shivers down your spine. “I… Can I?”
You hesitate for a moment. Not because you don’t want to kiss him —Your chest is blooming, pleading you lean forward with the need to feel his lips against yours so tenderly—, but because his hesitancy and gentleness are so rare on him like a newly founded perl in the midst of the ocean. You smile.
“You can, yes.” You say. And then, “Please, do”
Wanderer takes no second to pull you closer to him still, your hands resting on his chest, and he presses his lips to yours, kissing you softly but passionately. He is holding your face in his hands, warmer to the touch. For a blissful moment, you close your eyes and his lips draw fireworks in the pitch of your stomach.
When your lips part, he leans over still and whispers in your ear, “I’ve wanted to do that since I stepped into the room. Thank you for letting me.”
You cannot fight the smile that blooms in your lips, smiling up at him with honesty and warmth. Your hand meets his cheek in a tender caress.
“You’re so kind to me.” Then, you let out a soft chuckle. “How is a kiss going to help me pick an outfit, though?”
You watch him smile cheekily and reach behind you, pulling open your wardrobe.
“We could leave the outfits for now. You look great in…” He motions to you, up and down, and with a soft smile, he finishes. “…in anything and nothing at all.”
You smile at his words. You can almost feel the warmth of his lips on you still, and you want so dearly to believe he’s speaking the truth. You take a moment to stare at the discarded clothes, scattered all over the bed. You remember that you should leave soon or you're going to lose the reservation at the restaurant. You have to pick something to wear, after all. You have to choose. Your smile falls from your lips. Wanderer watches you grip your arm, your gaze falling to the ground.
He walks up to you, moving to stand right behind you. You feel him leaning over you, pressing a gentle kiss to your temple. A moment later, he speaks into your ear.
“Did I say something wrong?”
You shake your head, a heavy sigh falling from your lips, carrying everything you keep tucked in the corners of your chest.
“It’s silly.” You say, tufts of your hair tickling your skin as you move your head. “You’re going to think I’m stupid.”
Wanderer lets the words sit in the room for a moment, taking the space between the two of you. Then, after a pause, he speaks softly. You can even hear the hint of amusement in the beautiful ring of his voice.
“Try me.” He says, simply, his eyes sparkling like it’s just a game, nothing entirely relevant. Then, he shrugs. His sharp eyes look softer on you. I will hold my ridicule just this once, you have my word. Isn’t that something? Now, tell me what’s bothering you.” And then, he adds, “Please.”
“It’s just… I don’t like how any of these clothes look on my hips.” You swallow, feeling the words that are leaving your lips, meeting the air, all too heavy in the space that separates you. “And it just… Makes me feel insecure.”
He doesn’t take a second to say,
“And what’s wrong with your hips?”
Wanderer quickly moves his hands to your waist. You can feel how he is gently caressing the curves of your hips, his thumb brushing over your skin in gentle motions.
You close your eyes at the contact.
“I just… Don’t like them.” You admit.
“But you know I like them, right? You know I'm obsessed with them and everything else.” Wanderer whispers these words playfully in your ear, his hands still lightly tracing the contours of your hips. “It's a damn shame you don’t like them. They look… Lovely from this perspective. I quite like the way they curve from your waist down to your thighs.”
You feel yourself swallow. You feel his touch on yours, so gentle and slow and almost provocative. Your heart starts picking up the pace at his words.
“You’re just saying that.” You manage back.
“Well, I am. I am saying that. I think they’re lovely. Beautiful. Perfect, even. And I wouldn’t be putting my hands there if I didn't.” There’s a hint of seriousness to his voice, brushing against the shell of your ear, and you can feel yourself shivering. He pulls you close, pressing his body against yours as he kisses you (slowly, gently) and rubs his hands over the curves of your hips. “There’s nothing wrong with them. What is wrong, actually… Is that you’re covering them.”
You feel your heart racing, his words sliding thick line honey down your veins, making you feel lightheaded for a short moment.
“You really think so?” You hear yourself whisper, the sound of your own voice muffled in your ears.
“I really know so. Look…” He takes your hand and pulls you over to the mirror. You see yourself in front of him. The blush sprawled all over your cheeks. His sharp eyes watching your edges and curves like you’re the sun and he’s just climbed out of a cave into the light for the first time.
“…See? They look incredible. And I have no idea why you don’t see it yourself.”
Your blush deepens, the bridge of your nose blooming like crimson flowers under his attentive gaze. You turn your eyes away from him. From you. From the reflection, for a moment.
“I may not see what you see… Yet…” Your voice is tentative. “But I appreciate your words, my love. I really do.”
Wanderer smiles at you, and you can see the birth of a star in the curve of his lips, for your eyes only.
“Then, let me show you how beautiful I think you are.”
He says and moves back towards you. His hands slide over your waist, and down to the curve of your hips. With one hand, he pulls your body closer to his; and with the other, he gently caresses your exposed skin that meets him there.
You shiver at the contact, placing your hands over his chest now. You don’t meet his eyes.
“I… We’re going to be late for dinner…”
He ignores your words and continues caressing the curves of your body. He pulls your lips down towards his, warmer on yours, and moves on top of you to pin you against the wardrobe, as he starts to press kisses to your lips, your cheeks, your jaw, passionately so.
“…Oh, I think there’s plenty of time.”
As he kisses you, his hands roam and caress every inch of your body, pausing for a moment to whisper in your ear, “I’m going to enjoy exploring every… Hidden… And… Exposed… Part of you tonight. This is just the beginning.”
He slowly trails kisses from your ear down your neck, towards your collar and on to your chest, taking a moment to enjoy the sensation of moving his gentle lips and breath against your neck. Then, you feel him nibble softly on your collarbone.
“My love…” You whisper, your hands coming up to his head, losing your fingers in his silky hair, soft to the touch of your fingertips.
He continues to kiss you passionately, his lips brushing against your soft skin. His hands grip the flesh of your hips, while the other caresses your waist and stomach. You feel him whisper into your ear, while kissing your soft neck,
“…I love you. And I love how your hips look. In these clothes, or without them. But I'd be lying if I said I liked to see you covered up. And you made me promise not to lie to you. I can't wait to take them off you…”
He slowly moves his lips to your ear and kisses the sensitive skin there, as his hands move away from your hips. And you simply let him guide you to the bed. And, when he makes you see stars later that evening, you forget all about your insecurities for a blissful moment in time.
If you enjoyed this, please consider liking or reblogging it <3!

Shenhe x Fem!Reader pls?:) Soft Shenhe simply enjoying her evening and her girlfriend calmly asking her to partake in "activities" for the first time.
Shenhe gets all sorts of flustered but does her best and ends up doing so much more than she asked for.
basically im asking for shameless but soft smut pls:)
Relaxing Time With Shenhe (And A Little Bit More) (NSFW!)
Characters: Shenhe x Fem!Reader.
Warnings: NSFW !! This is for 18+ years old users. If you're a minor, please refrain from interacting. This content isn't for you.
Notes: This was meant to be a drabble but turned into a 4k story because apparently I had a lot to say about Shenhe's first time. I hope you enjoy!
The evening sun outside casts lazy shadows over the furniture in your living room.
You’re leaning on the couch. Though, really, it would be more accurate to say you’re leaning on Shenhe, who’s actually leaning on the couch. With her warm arms around you, you cannot help but draw a small, content smile. Shenhe looks at you and smiles softly, noticing your comfortable and relaxed expression.
“You look very… Content, my heart.” She nods in your direction as she takes a sip of her hot tea, yours all but forgotten on the coffee table in front of the couch. “It seems as if you enjoyed our little walk in the forest earlier today. Thank you for letting me stay the evening with you as well.” Shenhe smiles, and looks around the comfortable living room of your house —The large sofa, the few paintings on the walls and the small area in the corner with a few more shelves where you keep your million favorite books—. “It is not often that I find myself in a place like this… I think I quite like it. This definitely feels like a much more homey place than Cloud Retainer’s abode, at least to my eyes.”
“I’m glad you enjoy being here, Shenhe.” You lean to her a little more, your shoulder touching hers affectionately. “I enjoy you being here with me.”
Shenhe blushes a little, still not used to physical contact like this, but then draws a small smile.
“Well, it should be I who should be thanking you for inviting me. It is very kind of you.” She smiles softly as she leans more comfortably on the couch with you, hesitantly as she holds the cup of tea with one hand on her lap. “But this is definitely very enjoyable. My tea has always tasted better when I can enjoy it with someone else. It does warm my heart to be able to share a moment like this with you, my heart. Thank you.”
You slowly take one of Shenhe’s hands on your own. Your voice is quiet in her ears.
“You know… When I first told you how I felt… And you reciprocated my feelings… I didn’t think I would come to feel for you this much, Shenhe.” You look up at her, your eyes big and sparkling with newfound affection. “I am really grateful you chose to spend time with me. I… I really, really like you.”
Shenhe lets out a soft sigh as she looks at you intently, and gently squeezes your hand in response, her face turning a soft shade red.
“I… I like you… A lot as well.” She looks down as the bridge of her nose reddens, her hand still holding tightly onto yours. She opens her mouth again. “My love, to be honest… I have never been able to show love towards someone before. I have always held my heart tightly, for I was not sure how to understand my own feelings and emotions. But for the first time… I am learning the warmth of love and kindness, and… I’m glad it is with you.”
Slowly, you cup her face in your hands. You carefully trace her skin with your fingers —Her strong jaw, her soft cheeks, the angle of her eyebrows—. And then, you lean in and press your lips to hers in a gentle kiss.
“I love you, Shenhe. I love your honest smile, and your strong hands and everything about you.”
As you lean in and kiss her again, Shenhe's face grows a bright shade of red as her eyes are closed. With shaking hands, she slowly reaches out and brings you into her arms. As you kiss once again, she wraps her strong arms around you and clings on tightly to you.
When you pull apart, she lets out a deep sigh, staring at you with wide, glistening eyes, unable to form words for a moment. She takes a couple seconds to gather up her courage, looking down with a determined look.
“I love you too, my heart…” She leans up and, swiftly, presses her lips onto yours passionately. “You know that. You are the first person that I love… The first and only someone I want to be with… I want to give everything I am to you…”
You stay sharing kisses for some time, simply holding each other and enjoying the warm intimacy. Eventually, both of you catch your breath and break off your kiss, your cheeks still feeling very flushed. You each stare at the other in silence, neither wanting to let go of the other's hands or move away. Shenhe seems to breathe heavily as she separates from you.
“I love…” She gasps for air, as if she had just ran a long distance, her face completely flushed. “I truly… love you, my heart…” She leans her head against your chest, looking up with soft eyes and a warm expression towards you. “I have never felt this way before…” She buries her face into your chest, pressing her body tightly against you as her hands wrap around your waist.
You caress her winter hair softly, taking in her warmth for a moment as you let both of you catch your breaths. There’s no hurry. Eventually, you speak, your voice low and tentative.
“Shenhe, can I… Can I ask you something?”
Shenhe nods as she leans her body more forward towards you, still clinging onto you softly.
“Yes, of course. If there is anything you want to ask, please go ahead and do so.” You feel her nodding against your chest, the movement tickling your skin. “My heart is all yours, to say and do with as you wish.”
You clear your throat. And speak again.
“I know we’ve kissed before… A lot… And I really enjoy it when we do that…” You slowly trail your fingers through her features again, tracing the curve of her lips, the lines on her chin. “But I was wondering… Would you want to go further? With me?”
Shenhe stares up at you for a moment, her winter eyes big and surprised by your request. There’s a pause. You can only hear your own heartbeat in your ears. Until Shenhe nods a bit, her breath catching in her throat when she parts her lips.
“I… I would love to…” Her expression turns warm and a bit timid and shy, as she looks down. She takes a moment, before looking up at you with wide eyes, trying to find the right words. “I know… the Adeptus have always taught me to be strict with my body and not to indulge in the pleasures of flesh. But… when I am with you, I… it is hard for me to hold back my desires… Especially if…”
She seems to be struggling to say something. You take the chance to encourage her, caressing her flushed cheeks slowly, your touch soft and light on her skin. You tilt your head.
“Especially if…?”
Shenhe takes a deep breath, biting her lower lip as if to keep the words in. To really think what words she chooses to let out.
“Especially if… I see that you desire me…” A soft shade of pink spreads through her cheeks as she speaks, and her eyes turn towards you again. “Especially if I see… that you want me, too…” Her expression then becomes soft and loving as she gazes up at you, before she looks down, thoughtful. “…I may be weak…” Another pause passes, before Shenhe finally looks up at you with a warm smile, flowing with love. “But… I do not mind if it is with you.”
Your chest swells with affection for her, and you have to fight the urge to wrap her in your arms and keep her there forever. Instead, you draw a glowing smile and cup her face in your hands, slowly kissing her with all the warmth you hold in your chest.
“I want you, Shenhe. You have… You have no idea how badly I do.”
A soft gasp escapes Shenhe’s lips at your words, and you begin kissing her again one, two, three times. Again and again and again. She wraps her arms around you, pulling you closer. Her whole body quivers as her heart races as you continue to kiss her, her skin trembling beneath the touch of your lips.
“Then… I want you too…”
She grabs onto you and pulls you in again, kissing you with the same warmth and tenderness, her lips passionately pressing yours. She takes control of the moment, pressing her body closely against you.
“I love you…” She gently bites your lower lip and stares into your eyes. You see a blizzard sitting behind her winter eyes. Something you haven’t seen before. A glowing urge. A burning desire. “I want you…”
Shenhe whispers again, her hands reaching down to caress your face and down, down to your neck. A feeling of craving fills her entire body.
And then she parts her lips again, and you hear a little bit of her insecurity leak out into her voice.
“Am I doing this… right?” She whispers into your ears, her whole body trembling a little as she tries to get used to this feeling overtaking her limbs, spreading down her veins. “Please… forgive me for my inexperience…” She closes her eyes and pushes her lips strongly against yours, as her hands become increasingly active, holding onto your back and waist intently, unable to fight back against herself.
You slow the kisses down, moment by moment. Slowly, you cup her face in your palm, your eyes softening on hers when she looks at you.
“Shenhe… Have you never done this before, perhaps?”
She lets out a soft sigh, still caressing your face and neck slowly and affectionately. She shakes her head, locks of winter hair falling over you both.
“I’m afraid I… I have never done this before. I have always been so strict with myself, and with my body. I admit I am a little… unsure…”
You caress her cheek softly, your thumb brushing her soft skin at the motion, smiling at her easily.
“You don’t have to do anything you’re not comfortable with doing, my love. We can take a break, if you want.”
Shenhe shakes her head, as she stares at you with wide eyes and lips parted.
“No, no. I want to do this… I want to do this with… you.” She presses herself up against your body now, her breath now starting to become a bit heavy with need. “Please… Let us continue…”
You chuckle at her eagerness, pressing a quick kiss to her flushed lips.
“Alright, my love. If you’re unsure, perhaps you would rather… Not lead this activity? You can let me take the lead if that’s what you prefer. I don’t mind.”
As you caress her face, Shenhe lets out a small sigh, her face still flushed with desire and her body starting to shudder with anticipation.
“No, it's okay. I want to try this…” She gently pushes herself on top of you again, her whole body pressing tightly against yours. “Just… Please guide me.” She whispers, as her breathing grows more and more rapid, her mind completely filled with only promises of pleasure and of you. “And please be very… Gentle… With your guidance.” She whispers as she rolls her lower lip between her teeth, looking at you intensely.
You draw a smile, feeling the rush climb up your veins, soaking your bones.
“How about you start…” You take her hands in yours, warmer, slowly guiding them to your chest. You press them there, looking up at Shenhe with a playful smile. “Here?”
Shenhe nods as she looks at you, her winter eyes filled with lust and pleasure. She slowly takes a deep breath and presses her warm hands against your chest, her fingers slowly moving underneath the cloth and her palms caressing your breasts. Shenhe seems nervous at first, but a few seconds later she smiles and starts to enjoy the feeling.
“Oh… Your…” She looks at you with flushed cheeks, her eyes still a bit wide open at the sensation. “Your skin is so soft…”
You smile softly at her, feeling her hands caressing your chest, enjoying her touch on you. “Do you like how it feels?”
Shenhe nods a little, her body trembling slightly as her fingers continue to feel your chest, moving back and forth with slow, gentle motions.
“I like this… I like this very much…” She lets out a long sigh and her fingers start to move more quickly across your chest with desire. “Let me…” She tries to form words, but she can only swallow. “Please… Let me…”
“Let you what, my love?” You encourage her, your skin shivering where Shenhe is pressing her fingers.
Shenhe bites her lower lip once again as she looks away from you, her face completely flushed.
“I want to… Make you feel good… Please let me…” You can see her chest rising with heavy breaths as her eyes look towards you, waiting for your confirmation. “I want… To try something.”
She tries to say more, but she is too embarrassed to let everything she wants to say touch the air between you.
“Go ahead, my heart.” You smile up to her, your chest thumping rapidly inside your ribcage at the promise of more. You whisper, “I’m all yours to take.”
A shiver runs down Shenhe’s spine at your words, looking down at you as she slowly brings her face closer towards your body. She stares at you, her heart pounding loudly in her chest, her nerves wracking and her breath slightly shaky. After a few seconds of thinking, Shenhe starts to gently unbutton the buttons of your shirt, slowly exposing more of your skin. Her winter eyes are almost glowing, burning with desire at the sight of you.
“Please… Stay just like this…”
She moves her hands up to caress your breasts again, her fingers and hands slowly moving over your skin in a loving gesture, your shirt discarded to the side.
She slowly brings her head closer towards your chest, until finally her nose bumps into it, as her arms wrap around your waist and she starts to press her mouth against your skin.
“Hmmm…” She starts licking your breasts slowly, as her breath becomes more ragged and her beautiful eyes half closed again. “You taste so… So sweet… “
“Shenhe…” You breathe heavily under her touch, her tongue soft on your sensitive skin. You feel your body set ablaze, pleasure slowly creeping up your limbs, and you press your legs closed.
Shenhe then looks up to you, coming up to press her lips to yours again. She lets out a long, happy sigh as her body shivers in pleasure, her one hand still wrapped around your breast, the other hand gently caressing your face.
“I'm glad to see that you like it, my love…” She presses her lips against yours in a passionate and hungry kiss. Her fingers on your breasts start toying with your nipples, as your body starts to quiver with desire, your hips and legs pressing themselves against her body more tightly. Shenhe lets out a small gasp. And she whispers, “Please… Let me feel you…”
You pant at her touch, breathing heavily. You begin pressing kisses to her throat, feeling her hands all over you, everywhere.
“You can feel me, my heart.” There’s a ring of desperation in your voice. A pleading. “All of me. I’m all yours.”
A low whimper comes out of Shenhe as she hears your words. She continues stroking your body as she presses herself right up against you, her breath catching in her throat.
“Are you sure…?” Her voice slowly becomes soft, her body trembling with desire as she starts slowly moving her hands again, this time down the length of your body. She swallows and looks at you with wide eyes and a flushed face, the bridge of her nose painted crimson. Her own hips slightly tilt forwards, her mouth hanging open as she waits for permission to move further when she reaches the hem of your bottoms. “May I…?”
You nod, drawing kisses on her throat with your lips, leaving open-mouthed kisses on her clavicles, her chest, intoxicated by the warmth of her touch along your stomach, downwards.
Her hands move down a little further, and she starts to caress your hips carefully, as her fingers slowly move along each individual curve of your body.
“Mmmm…” A soft hum escapes Shenhe's lips as she seems to thoroughly enjoy herself in the moment. She starts to massage your thighs, her face flushed and her body trembling in anticipation. “You feel so soft…”
She continues to gently stroke the sensitive skin of your thighs, her breath becoming more ragged as she tries to contain herself.
“My love…” She lets her free hand move up to caress your cheek again, as her winter eyes slowly dart between the spots that she is touching you. Her voice sounds thick with poorly concealed desire. “Please… Let me…”
“Please, do.” You whisper, a little too eager, too quickly. “Please, touch me…”
Shenhe’s hands start to quiver. A low, desperate sound escapes her lips as she starts to move her fingers in circles and caress your skin low, lower, her body shivering as she finally touches the most intimate and sensitive part of your body, spreading you open with her thumb.
“Shenhe… Ah…” You throw your head back, eyes religiously shut, feeling her touch overwhelmingly warm where you need her the most. A quiet gasp of pleasure slips out of your lips as she trails her fingers up your folds again, barely grazing your clit, with her touch becoming softer and more delicate as it moves. “So good…”
You suck in a breath, your hands gripping Shenhe’s arms tightly for support. You feel your thighs trembling at the contact as her hands continue to pump inside you, her fingers starting to move in a certain pattern and rhythm, hitting all the right places.
“You’re so beautiful like this, my love…” Shenhe kisses your neck as she continues, her voice drunk with the feeling of you over her fingers. “So beautiful for me…”
“Ah… More…” You choke out the words, eyes fluttering and your chest rising and falling rapidly. “Shenhe… Can you… Ah… Please…”
“…Oh. Yes. Of course…” It takes her a moment but she finally starts to pick up the pace —Her fingers making fireworks explode inside your entrance, faster across your folds, setting your skin ablaze with each thrust—, but her touch still remains soft and loving. “Is this alright, my love?”
“Yes… Yes… Ah…”
You look up at Shenhe again, your eyes still half closed, lost in pleasure. You pant when her fingers move faster against you, the weight of it, the promise of it making your hips twitch forward. A wide smile appears on Shenhe’s face, as she gently maintains the same pattern and rhythm for you.
“You’re close… You’re so…” A whimper rolls out your lips. You grind your hips along with Shenhe’s movements, sinking her deeper into you, feeling the graze of her fingertips against something good. “Mmh—!”
Shenhe is staring down at you with heavy-lidded eyes, winter hair falling over you and slightly tangled, a furious blush blooming on the bridge of her nose at the sounds falling from your lips.
“You’re doing so good for me, my love. I’m happy.”
Your body shudders intensely and you wrap your hands around Shenhe’s waist. The room is soaked in your rousing scent and Shenhe feels your juices filling her senses, coating her skin, her fingers gently thrusting inside and out of your entrance rubbing your walls inside; and you feel every single thing she does to you, your skin burning where she’s touched you last, tears of pleasure blurring your vision.
“Shenhe… Ah…” You choke on your words, on your throat, head tipping back when Shenhe angles her thumb just right over your clit. “Shenhe… I… I'm about to…”
Your voice falters again as you squeeze your eyes closed. Your mouth is pressed against Shenhe’s neck, urging her impossibly closer as you grip her winter hair with shaky fingers.
“That’s okay, my love.” Shenhe gasps for air, her voice trembling slightly. She leans to you, taking your lips in hers in a blazing, passionate kiss. Her fingers are fondling your entrance, stroking your slippery walls as they clench around her touch, rubbing them, curling her fingertips inside, eliciting the prettiest cries to escape your lips. “Let me take you there.”
“Shenhe…! Shenhe, please—!” You cry, your hips grinding against her hand, her fingers curling inside you, your whole body trembling to her touch. “I can’t hold back— Ah—!”
A loud moan escapes your lips, as Shenhe presses her body up against. She starts to move her hands more frantically, stroking your insides with passion and care, and your fingers scrabble at her hair and arms, a desperate attempt to hold onto your self-control.
“That’s it, my heart…” Shenhe lets you wrap your arms around her neck now, pulling her against you with force. Your eyes are still tightly shut, pressing her close to you as fireworks explode behind your closed eyelids. “Just like that… I’ve got you…”
“Shen—! Ah… Shenhe— Ahhh—!”
Breathing heavily, Shenhe looks back up at you —Your lips quivering, your hips grinding— straining your body as you clamber desperately towards your peak. You close your eyes as pleasure washes over you, your back arching and your hips shakily rolling further into her hand. Shenhe keeps up the pacing of her fingers, dragging those blissful seconds of after pleasure until she feels your entire body relax, your muscles growing limp and exhausted beneath her on the couch.
A few seconds seem to pass, but you remain frozen in place, your eyes tightly shut as your breath seems to catch in your throat, rolling out of your lips in heavy pants.
Shenhe slowly takes her hands away from below, coming up to press a sweet kiss to your temple, breathing heavily herself.
“Are you alright, my heart?”
Her voice is soaked in warm affection, and your chest shudders for a second. You seem to slowly gather your breath back, bringing your head up and looking Shenhe in the eyes.
“That felt…” Another second passes, as your whole body seems to be in a state of euphoria. “Oh… That felt… Incredible, my love…”
Your lips curve into an exhausted, genuine smile, your eyes still a bit glazed over.
Shenhe seems to almost melt at the sound of your voice, as her body relaxes and she lets out a deep sigh. Her winter eyes open up again, and she stares at you with a warm expression, openly affectionate. Once again, she moves herself down, resting her head on your chest, still rising rapidly with the memory of euphoria written all over your bones still.
“I’m glad. And…” She holds you a little bit tighter against herself, indulging in your touch. “Thank you. For allowing me to partake in this activity with you, and for guiding me like you have.”
You caress the side of her face, your fingers smooth against the side of her cheek, flushed underneath your fingertips.
“Thank you… For this wonderful moment of love with you, Shenhe.”
As she feels your soft hands caressing her face, Shenhe brings her hand up to stroke your hair softly, her winter eyes softening around the corners for you only.
“I'm glad… That I got to…” She lets out another long sigh as she nuzzles her face in your chest, briefly fluttering her eyes closed in contentment. “…Share this moment with you.”
You stay like that, holding each other tightly and enjoying the warmth of being in each other’s arms, finding comfort in the shape of her welcoming arms around your middle, the shape of her embrace fitting against you like it was made for your hold only.
Shenhe continues to hold onto you tightly, gently breathing onto your neck as she slowly moves her hand to your back, caressing your skin softly, moving up and down in soothing motions. She smiles at you and closes her eyes for a few seconds, trying to enjoy the moment and the warmth coming from your bodies pressed impossibly together in this moment in time.
“This…” She nuzzles against you, her winter hair tickling your throat easily. “This is nice…”
“It is nice.” You smile softly, stroking her hair with your fingers now, soft and light. After a few moments of comfortable silence, you say, “But we should probably move. And have a shower. Don’t you think?”
“Yes, I suppose we should…”
Shenhe smiles softly at you again, looking up at you. Then, she wraps her arms around your waist, squeezing you tightly before letting go of you and looking around as if realizing and remembering where you are right now.
She looks down at her clothes, which are in a bit of a mess after what happened, as a few clothes lie on the floor along with the coat that Shenhe had worn.
“Yes. We should probably… Um… Have a shower. ”
You press a kiss to her nose, fast and playful. You smile brightly. “But we’re so cozy together, so… How about you join me?”
Shenhe blinks rapidly a few times, not expecting that offer to come so soon. You see the bridge of her nose blooming with soft pink colors.
“You want to… Shower together?” She takes in a deep breath, a bit more focused now. “We can do that, but… You do realize that being in the shower together may…”
Her voice trails off as she tries to think of the right words to continue the sentence. You chuckle at her bashful demeanor, finding it endearing. You take her face in your hands carefully, caressing her skin slowly with your fingertips.
“Maybe I can take the chance to repay the favor… Only if you want to, my love.”
Shenhe lets out a soft sigh when she feels your touch, before closing her eyes and leaning into your palm with a relaxed expression drawn all over her pretty features.
“Hmm… We can do that if you'd like…” She speaks a little bit more confidently, her whole body relaxing a bit more in your welcoming hands. “Thank you, my love. I believe I will enjoy this shower… With you.”
Then, she lets you take her hand and gently guide her to the bathroom, just the two of you alone. And she thinks, maybe giving in and indulging in the pleasures of flesh isn’t as bad if she has your gentle hands to guide her through her emotions, like you have.

i feel bad requesting so soon but um! Keqing coming home from a bad day at work, only to be welcomed by her wife and their kid(s?) who made dinner for her, and then they spend quality time together! if it's not much trouble?
Keqing Family Fluff After Work
Characters: Keqing x Fem!Reader.
Warnings: None! Just a lot of fluff.
Notes: Thank you for requesting! I hadn't written Keqing in a while and I missed her, this was very wholesome to write. Halfway through I forgot about the dinner part but I hope you enjoy it still!
It’s late at night when you hear the front door opening, the sun already past hidden by the time you feel Keqing’s steps on the wooden floor, coming towards the only light in the house: The kitchen, where you find yourself now.
You see your wife entering the room, covering her yawning mouth with the back of her hand. Her lilac eyes look tired in yours, her entire demeanor slow and heavy as she approaches you.
“Ah, I'm finally back. Hello, my love. You're still awake, aren't you? You were waiting for me again tonight?” She says, her voice slow and tired. “I'm so sorry, I lost track of time. There were just so many things I had to take care of today…”
“It’s okay, my heart.” You walk up to her, pressing your lips to her cheek softly in reassurance. Her skin warms to your touch. “Did you have a busy day?”
Keqing nods, locks of lilac hair falling over her eyes at the motion.
“More than usual. I mean, with Rex Lapis gone, things have been even more chaotic than ever. There are so many things that need to be done, and the work is never-ending. I've been at it so long that my back's killing me.” She sighs, stroking her back. Then, her eyes light up “…Oh! But I almost forgot! I had something very important I wanted to tell you.”
“What is it, my love?” You tilt your head, listening intently.
“Remember those plans that I was drawing up for new development in the city? Well… I finally finished my proposal, and I took it to the Liyue Qixing this afternoon… And they said yes! We're finally going to start a big construction project.” She tells you, her lilac eyes sparkling in the dim light of the night. “I guess it just goes to show that anything is possible when you put in the work. Heh… Just don't tell the others, but I'm still not quite sure what I'm doing as the Yuheng of the Qixing.”
Keqing walks up to the kitchen table and sits down with a heavy sigh. She is visibly exhausted, her limbs heavy with the tiredness of the day. You walk up to her, placing your hands on her shoulders, smiling softly at her.
“That’s wonderful news, sweetheart! You had been working very hard on that project!”
Keqing returns the smile, her lips tugging at the corners with poorly-concealed pride.
“I know! It’s really… It's really been a long day. I've been running around the city, making sure that everything is proceeding smoothly. I’ve had a bunch of important meetings, too… All sorts of paperwork and contracts to sign. I'm exhausted.”
You rub her back lovingly, your hand slowly stroking her skin through the work shirt she’s wearing. She sighs and leans to your touch, your warmth slipping through her veins in waves.
“You did so good, my heart. I’m so proud of you.” You lean down, pressing your lips to her temple in a familiar gesture of affection. She briefly closes her eyes to the contact. “You deserve a reward. Anything you want.”
“Anything, you say?” Keqing leans her head onto your shoulder, locks of lilac hair tickling your neck, and you can almost see her blushing. “There does seem to be something I want…”
You smile softly, playfully so. “Hm? And what would that be?”
Keqing turns her face to you, her sharp eyes finding yours and softening around the corners.
“Maybe a massage to ease the tension in my shoulders… And maybe a nice hot bubble bath… And then we can head to bed?” Keqing’s eyes sparkle with affection at the idea. “What do you say, my love?”
You lean to her, pressing a gentle kiss to her lips. You smile against her mouth, and feel Keqing shivering underneath.
“That sounds wonderful. Why don’t you take a seat on the couch and wait for me there? I will be right there.”
She is quick to nod. “Okay, I can do that.”
Keqing goes to the couch and sits down on it with her eyes still sparkling, smiling to herself with excitement. She gazes warmly at you, waiting patiently for you to return. She smiles again when she hears footsteps. She is expecting you to return with the massage, and maybe something else. Keqing is already leaning back against the couch and is looking forward to what comes next, turning to the sound.
“Ah, you're back already, my love. I didn't think that would be so— Oof!”
Two kids jump at her on the couch, giggling. “Mom is home! Mom is home!”
Keqing is startled by the sudden movement of the two kids, and looks at them with wide eyes. She quickly regains her composure when she realizes that it’s her two kids, their lavender hair and sharp intelligent eyes unmistakable, and they are just excited to see her.
“Hey, you two!” Keqing picks up the kids, and begins to tickle them. She laughs along with the children, and the three of them have a very happy reunion. “Why are you up this late? You should be sleeping!”
Keqing kisses their heads, and the kids playfully pinch Keqing’s cheeks to get a reaction. The kids' presence brings Keqing a feeling of joy, as if her tired mind has been instantly refreshed, two little suns in the dim light of the room.
“We couldn't sleep without Mom's bedtime story!” Says the older one, barely six.
“We missed you!” Says the smaller one, four years old and hanging tightly to Keqing’s shirt.
Seeing how happy the two kids are, and how much their presence has improved the mood of the whole apartment, Keqing can't help but be filled with love and appreciation, sinking into her bones as the sight.
Then, you come into the room. Your soft footsteps make the three of them turn their heads towards you.
“So, about that massage— Oh, kids! You were supposed to be sleeping!”
Keqing chuckles, seeing the surprise drawn all over your features.
“That's what I told them, but they said they couldn't fall asleep without hearing my bedtime story first.”
The two kids are clinging to her legs, looking up at her mom with wide eyes and pleading facial expressions, Please!
“Come on children, your mom is tired from work.” You walk up to them and slowly kiss their hair, a thoughtful expression behind your eyes. Then, you smile. “How about we give her a comforting massage, all three of us?”
The kids jump in unison, cheering with their little fists in the air, their eyes crumpling with smiles.
“Yey! We’d love to massage you, Mom! We want to help you relax!”
The two kids are clearly very excited and pleased at the idea, and are already bouncing on their toes.
“What do you say, my love?” You caress the side of Keqing’s face with your fingers, soft and light. Keqing smiles, her skin growing the faintest shade of pink at the contact, and nods slowly.
“Sure, I could definitely use a massage.” She leans up on the couch, and the kids are quick to climb onto her stomach, eager to start the massage. The two kids work together to give a relaxing massage to Keqing, and she laughs and enjoys the warmth and energy of her kids as they work on her back with your help, too. The family atmosphere fills all four of you with joy and love. “It feels great to have you and the kids take care of me, too.”
After a while of massaging and laughing together as a family, the kids start yawning, covering their mouths with their little hands.
“Sleepy…” Says the older one, rubbing her lilac eyes.
The two kids are starting to fall asleep, already curling up as they massage Keqing sleepily. Keqing chuckles and kisses the children’s hair, but makes no effort to stop them from sleeping.
“Looks like you two are about to nod off.” She says, and the kids nod, blinking slowly. Keqing smiles softly, now looking at you. “I think the four of us can have a bedtime story together now. How about we read a book about a fun adventure?”
“That sounds wonderful, my love.”
You nod, and you’re quick to go to the kids’ room and fetch a book. You all gather around together on the couch, and Keqing reads the book aloud. The story of a girl discovering an entirely new world brings a magical, cozy feeling to the room. The kids close their eyes and start to doze off. They are soon fast asleep in Keqing’s arms, and she smiles at you, before the both of you take the children to their bedroom.
Closing the door to the girl’s bedroom behind you, you take Keqing’s hand in yours with an apologetic smile. “I’m sorry, my love. I know you wanted a romantic night of relaxation.”
Keqing looks at you and smiles warmly, affection pouring out of her like a waterfall.
“Oh, you know me. It’s okay. These things just happen sometimes, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Just one look at our girls, and all the tiredness has been washed away.” She presses a kiss to your cheek, and then pulls you close to her. She whispers to your skin, “I really love our life together.”
“It’s late, but…” You press your lips to hers tenderly. You smile at her, your eyes sparkling with playfulness and oh, so much affection. “That nice hot bubble bath sounds good. If it’s something that you still want?”
“Oh, I really do. After a long day of work, a comforting bath… Nothing could be better, to be honest. Let's get cozy and go to sleep afterwards.” Keqing nods enthusiastically, her lavender hair falling over her shoulders at the motion. “That sounds like the perfect conclusion to the day. Let’s go, my love.”
And then, you and Keqing head to the bathroom together to enjoy a beautiful conclusion to a busy day.
