As a mixed Asian, I am super pissed off and paranoid right now. 

Advice I can give you is to use PROPER tags like #AsiansAreHumans, #StopAsianHate, #TheyCantBurnUsAll, and #ProtectAsianLives. 

And please DON’T compare this to other movements and use the tag AsianLivesMatter. The former is disrespectful to both us and the other communities and the latter is a thinly veiled version of the bigoted AllLivesMatter.

Also, please DO NOT attack us Asians who don’t want to talk about it. It’s a super stressful and traumatic time right now and your just being a jerk to us instead of actually helping.

Because apparently 2k20 & 2k21 aren’t done slamming me down, I’ll need to have eye surgery on MARCH 19TH.

I went to the eye doctor yesterday and I had to to the eye dilation thing twice and I could not see a THANG the whole ass day, so my zoom college class was basically a podcast LOL.

Next month I’ll be having eye surgery. I’ve had a vision issue since I was like 9 years old and I even had to be admitted to the hospital a few times when I was younger because of intense headaches related to my vision issues, even having to take morphine. 

Now that my vision loss has somewhat stabilized, the doctor said it would be better to have corrective eye surgery as soon as possible (it just can’t be sooner, like this month because of the Brazilian Carnaval holidays)

Turns out, though, that my health insurance does not cover it, because 2k20 and 2k20 cannot get any worse, so I’m here again asking for help [sorry, mates]

1 hour before the surgery I’ll need to do the Corneal Topography Exam (here in Brazil it is called the Galilei Exam) which is also not covered by my health insurance.

The Brazilian government has stopped sending out the emergency checks [pandemic money help] which was for R$300 [this is 55 dollars] every month so you can also help my family & me by sending us items (like milk, coffee, cleaning products) via my Amazon Wishlist. Trust me, it helps A LOT.

I really can’t believe they have tumblr in Poland or check or wherever you are

Yeah we do have it but its pretty limited :/ My richer friends can afford buying a few kg of Tumblr from the local Pewex with us dollars whenever they want to but i have to wait for my uncle that lives in germany to bring us a few buckets. they usually last us half a month. we browse tumblr in text only form to make it last longer
