the immediate shift in the pevensies from being frustrated and unhappy and upset with one another and themselves in england -> them all laughing and playing with one another the second they get to narnia again. susan not caring at all how mature she acts anymore as she throws off her blazer and her hair falls in her face, but it just makes her more queenly than ever. lucy racing her down the beach. them all forgetting they were annoyed with peter. peter forgetting he was angry at all. half an hour ago he was getting the shit kicked out of him but he can't even feel the bruises anymore. none of it matters because they're home, and they're splashing each other in the ocean and walking barefoot under the apple trees and i feel SICK i feel ILL they were SO HAPPY.

See as a SLP student I remember thinking “ I wonder if Georgie had speech when he was little” because a few of his phonemes are produced so precisely that they sound like they may have been drilled at one point. ( and I find it so endearing)

Finding out George had speech therapy as a kid bc he mumbled a lot, makes a lot of things make sense with how he talks and presents himself now. The way he always seems to really think about what he’s going to say before he says it and how he properly annunciates some words. And then still gets given shit for the way he talks…

the costuming detail in narnia makes me go bonkers sometimes tho likeeee. they're wearing clothes from their golden age selves in the second film, and lucy who was famously the warrior queen? her dress is actually pants under an overskirt. the white witch's icicle crown slowly melts away to nothing as spring breaks and aslan's power overcomes her own. she wears his shorn mane as a symbolic part of her battle garb. caspian wears the same shirt under his armor for almost the entirety of the movie. it's his fucking pajama shirt. because that's the only thing he was wearing when he escaped.
