To me, they have slightly different meanings. Using 'If' makes it seem more like maybe there is, maybe there isn't - it could still be a question. Her using 'that' makes it sound more definitive, a statement, there is NOT another choice. Don't think it's grammatically incorrect but it's not something we hear a lot.

I think / hope Chris was just being polite when he told David that - when do they even use outside music, besides in All Things? If he does do it, it should be during the end credits, not during the actual episode.

I’m guessing “Hell or Highwater" and “Passenger” will be the David Duchovny  songs included in the revival. What do you think?

HEY TUMBLR, It's bad enough having to look at crap edits of professionally shot photos, could ya STOP cropping copyrights, & having the audacity to add your logo? It's NOT your photo! I see at least 2 XF blogs that do this regularly. Make your over-saturated, blown-out highlights and add way too much contrast if you must, but the rest is not only disrespectful but, cropping marks & adding your own, it's copyright infringement. I mean, wanting credit for a photo You didn't take? GROSS

SO. I WENT TO NETFLIX HEADQUARTERS TODAY.

This file is en route to the licensing dept in LA,  which is apparently where all communications about Netflix acquiring new content should go. I thought I’d share some of the key points I made, should anyone be doing any letter-writing of their own.

A.) Yes, the show has low ratings. HOWEVER,  the ratings systems operate under archaic models, and there are many factors (such as Twitter trending, streaming viewers, and multi-platform viewing) that are difficult to measure with traditional methods. The fact that the Nielsen top Ratings list is dominated by shows that haven’t aired live since the 1950s is evidence of the changing ways that people are viewing TV shows, as well as the organization’s inability to adapt to the changing landscape of our internet-oriented culture.

B.) We have rock-solid critical acclaim

Here’s how Hannibal stacks up against House of Cards, and one of Amazon’s originals, Catastrophe (I had included them because at the time we didn’t know if they might still pick it up or not)

C.) And of course, there’s the fanbase. Aside from the fact that I just drove about 4 hours today with no air conditioning and my check engine light on (lol, sorry, it was a long day) just to drag the Netflix receptionists away from the Hunchback of Notre Dame so I could talk about this show, we trended worldwide yesterday when NBC released the news; and #Hannibal is no stranger to the trending board. We won the Hulu best in show mid hiatus, we’re news in almost every major online outlet today, there are clearly people watching the show, and rallying for its return! 

These are just a couple of the things that make the show appealing to streaming services like Hulu and Netflix: this show is amazing and unique, critically acclaimed, it has a ready-to-go fanbase that is comfortable with social media promotion and multi-platform viewing, and most importantly (to them), people are talking about it!
