I wish that book reviews were presented the same way as fanfiction reviews:
“AFHAKFHDKFHAKHFADSKFHKDFDKJHFKJAD” –The New York Times
“OMG I CANT EVEN WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO THEM” –The Wall Street Journal
“you asshole im crying now” –NPR
“AHH THAT WAS SO CUTE THANK YOU! I’ll publish that book I said I’d write for you like next week, I’m a little busy right now but I LOVE THIS” –Sarah Dessen

Love edendaphne’s work!!
Part 1 of an angsty hurt/comfort Ladrien minicomic commissioned by @markymark65stuff. Concept and dialogue were written by them; art and Ladybug redesign concept are by me. :D
[Text:]
Ladybug: “Adrien, I’m so glad you’re okay. I was worried sick!”
Adrien: “Hey… look at me. It’s all over. Your powers healed me and fixed everything. Everything’s okay now. You don’t have– “
Ladybug: “No, it’s not okay! My plan wasn’t thought out well enough and I messed up everything.”

ML Positivity Week, Favourite Fanfics Day
I’m trying to mention as many my favourite fics I could, but I’m sure there won’t be all of them due to my terrible memory. I tend to not remember things I read months ago, unless something stuck in my head too much. The order is random. My list will contain rather canon-compliant fics (because I’m not into AUs much) and mostly Adrienette ones (this is my favourite side of the Love Square, so you know).
Her Light to His Darkness by @miraculouslycool - this is a fic I’m currently reading and I haven’t finished it yet (I’m at 12nd chapter), but I think I could add it to the list despite that. I don’t know how I could not seen it earlier since I even follow the author on Tumblr from a longer time. I know I usually starts reading fics when they are finished, but I also tend to subscribe unfinished ones those drew my attention, for later read. I discovered it recently when I searching through Adrienette tag on AO3 because I felt like I need a finished Adrienette fic in my life. In fact It has more Ladynoir scenes, but I’m fine with it. That’s very good story and post-season 3 in which Marinette is the Guardian, in which I’m especially interested in, as it helps in waiting for season 4 and I like seeing reading how people imagine situation in the show after s3. At first I hated Ladybug’s behavior, but thankfully it hasn’t last long. Also I love the fic’s title, it fits heroes of the Creation and Destruction very well.
Carousel of Life by @mireilletan - Written for last year’s Adrienette April. I can’t say much about it, because I don’t remember the plot, only that I loved it. I could reread it later.
Prescription for Love by @lycorogue - I love episode-based fics and this one shows Adrien and Kagami’s reaction to Marinette’s letter and behavoir in Backwarder. BTW Now I found The Truest of Friends one-shot in her profilel, I haven’t read it yet but I know I need as it has “Plagg Apreciation Day” in tags, so I’m obligatored to read it. I’m bet it’s great.
Under Lock and Key by @edendaphne and @maerynn-blog - I have read it ages ago and it’s the first fics with illustration made by an author I have ever seen. I think that’s the main reason it stuck in my head more than any other fic when I was still fresh in the fandom.
Our Last Summer by @lilacchocolate - I rather wanted to add finished fics to the list, but I really really love this one and despite not being completed that’s still have over 112k words to read. That’s a story post-Hawk Moth defeat in which Adrien is moving out to Switzerland for his last year of Lycée because of consequences of the fact Gabriel Agreste being Paris supervillain. It includes many NSFW scenes, but you could avoid them if you’re uncomfortable with them. The story is worth it. It’s still actualized, but verry, veeery slowly and I haven’t read few of the newest ones.
Operation Mega-Sleepover by @smellerbeee - I just found this fics somewhere again and I remember I loved it, so I can add it to the list. It’s a very long 15k one-shot.
Then There Was You by LiquifiedStars - the author probably hasn’t her own Tumblr blog, so I link to her AO3 profile. I think this story need more love. In this Nathalie turns against Gabriel for the sake for the sake of Adrien’s happiness, which probably will never happen in the show.
And I need to add also Stuck in a Backery (With You) and Someone to Watch Over Me by @dfcfanfics I have mentioned before in my previous post.

Any fan of Miraculous should definitely read these amazing stories!!
Adventurer: Chapter 1, part 1
Hey all! I’m dusting off this fic because I have an exciting announcement: a sequel is in the works. I’m not quite ready to start posting the sequel because I want it to be *just right* before I do, but until then, I thought I would cross-post Adventurer here on Tumblr. It has already been posted in its entirety on FF.net and AO3.
Before we begin, this story was going to be a one shot and end after chapter 1, but I got such a lovely response that I had to continue. Now it’s 13 big chapters of excitement. Like any fic, there’s plenty I cringe at now, but good authors must move forward. This is a season 4 headcanon. I hope you enjoy!
Chapter 1
Adrien stretched his shoulders and back gently, then swiftly knocked an arrow. A deep breath in, and a small motion from his fingertips, and the arrow whooshed to its mark with a thump. Bullseye. He fired two more. He hadn’t had extensive archery practice, but he had been athletically talented even before his father’s intense training or his secret life as Chat Noir. He continued emptying his quiver, making more shots than missing, and began feeling more relaxed. As he retrieved his arrows, there was a rustle of activity from the direction of the front door.

In honor of International Womens Day, here is a thread of women of color, queer women of color and trans women of color who deserve to be celebrated today for their accomplishments:
Up first: Sylvia Rivera who is a Latina trans activist, helped create STAR with Marsha P Johnson. She was a founding member of the Gay Liberation Front and the Gay Activists Alliance. She is a pioneer of trans rights!! ❤️
Bisexual Mexican artist Frida Kahlo spoke out about being disabled after a bus accident. Her self-portraits comment on the female form and utilize traditional Mexican themes and colors!
Kara Walker is a Black artist who creates these very powerful silhouettes highlighting race and scenerios of our past in slavery. She creates many other works as well, but those are my personal favorite. I’ve seen them in person!
Katherine Johnson who is represented in the movie “Hidden Figures”, calculated the precise trajectories that would let Apollo 11 land on the moon in 1969. She was a very talented mathematician. In 2015, President Barack Obama awarded her the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Malala Yousafzai is a prominent figure in our world. Every day she fights to ensure all girls receive 12 years of free, safe, quality education. She is also the youngest Nobel Prize recipient. Even after the gunman incident, her voice never stayed quiet.
Rosa Parks of course. She was a leader in the local NAACP and the civil rights movement, iconically refused to give up her seat. Her willingness to disobey the rule helped to spark the Montgomery boycott and other efforts to end segregation in America.
Marsha P. (“Pay it No Mind”) Johnson was another pioneer in the trans movement. She helped created STAR with Sylvia Rivera. She was a drag queen, sex worker, and while her gender identity remains questioned in discourse, a lot of trans people claim her as one of their own.
Cecilia Chung, an Asian trans woman living with HIV, has spent her life fighting to end discrimination, stigma and violence across marginalized communities first as the former chair of the San Francisco Human Rights Commission and on the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS.
Of course Michelle Obama!! She has focused on social issues like education and healthy living. She was deeply committed to the well-being of our nation and to the future of its people, especially its children.
One more: Patsy Takemoto Mink devoted her life to advocating for gender equality and educational reform. She is the first woman of color and the first Asian-American woman elected to the House of Representatives. Title IX owes its existence largely to her efforts. So thank you to all of these amazing, intelligent, passionate, beautiful, inspiring women throughout history who are fucking badass. I just had to shed some appreciation to them for changing the world and resonating with me to continue follow in my great aunt’s activism for people of color.
Happy International Women’s Day to ALL my sisters and I’m with you in solidarity and power!
