Georgey Does The Loremaster Challenge:

Today's Issue: Westfall - Overall Issue #1 - Eastern Kingdoms Arc

-Author Note: Hello Tumblr, it has been a minute. Apologies for lack of posts. My Loremaster challenge was ruined with 1 last zone in Eastern Kingdoms to go! :( Since then, I've been contemplating starting over with a better format to present my journey to you.

These old zones have been discussed to death, we all know the stories. So, I'm just going to turn the whole journey into a comedic reenactment with a few liberties taken here and there! I hope you enjoy. -> #GeorgeyLM will be the main tag for these posts moving forward if you want to see more.

Enough gabbing for me today let's get onto Westfall!

Chromie Time ended a level earlier than the scaling, and now I'm too over powered to do old content and still have one. Do I start over? I don't want to do that grind again. lol

The Western Plaguelands

After a very underwhelming end to The Hinterlands, I soon embarked to The Western Plaguelands.

I was excited. I remembered having some fun in Western and Eastern Plaugelands previously.

So, my buddy Void Walker and I just chilled outside Scholomance for awhile. Seriously, I just stood outside listening to the ghostly wind while I chilled. It was really calming.

Leaving that area, I was welcomed to the zone with a forceful hug from a big abomination of a guy.

He quickly took a nap after I introduced some of my magic abilities to his face. It's always nice to share.

I didn't get too much done after. The Forsaken have invaded and some naive farmers from Westfall are trying to settle in the lands after rumors of the land being fit to harvest again. This sent them fleeing from the hell that is Westfall after the Cataclysm.

Unfortunately, the lands aren't safe so I had to help feed these stranded farmers and take down some scourge along the way.

My run was briefly paused after this. Jaina's head popped up whispering of voices in people's heads. This means the War Within content was phasing in. I had planned to level to 70 and then turn off XP gain. If I phase out of Chromie Time then the rest of the Zones would stop scaling and even reduce in level. So, to be safe and prevent Jaina from popping up again after each level I decided o turn off XP now. This way the mobs and quest should remain level 68 along with me.

While PVE is always easy work, I don't want to be able to one shot everything. I would be bored really fast.

Before I go: I really hope this zone offers better looking gear. I feel like a concubine for some Sultan with all these lace mask hood upgrades I kept getting in the Hinterlands. THE WORST. I'll report back when I continue.

My name is Georgey! HI!

I'm in the middle of a Loremaster journey with a fresh WoW account. I wanted to document my quest to be the very best. Like no ever was.

I hope you enjoy my journey as I push myself through ALL the bad story campaigns of yesterday.

This, is also my NPC in game husband. He's thrown an axe at me once or twice, but he makes me laugh what can I say?

This is a third try at this run as there is currently a bug with phasing in retail. It makes it so Alliance players who started in Exile's Reach and do the Welcome To Stormwind quest after are phased wrong and certain quests needed to complete Loremaster are now locked. More details in the link below.

I didn't have this much info when I rolled a human priest named Georgie and realized I could not complete a Westfall quest. Thus, my Loremaster run in the first zone was already dead. So, a couple classes changes later, and now I'm currently running a Destruction Human Warlock.

Some ground rules I laid for myself.

Fresh account. No heirlooms, no gold or bag transfers, nothing!

Second As I start this I am humoring the idea of switching characters after each expansion. The exception being technically Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. I want an Alliance to do Eastern Kingdoms and Horde to Kalimdor Loremaster respectfully.

I also want to play a new race or class if they're introduced in that expansion.

All character's names will be a variation of Georgey (IMPORTANT)

So order would be (not finalized).

Eastern Kingdoms - Geoorgie - Human/Warlock/Alliance (In Progress)

Kalimdor - Orc/Horde

Burning Crusade - Draenai/Alliance

Wrath of the Lich King - ???/Death Knight/Horde

Cataclysm - Alliance/Worgen

Mists of Pandaria - Pandaren/Monk/Horde

Warlords of Draenor - This expansion has some major differences in leveling for both factions. So, I may run both factions here.
