𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐤𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐞𝐝𝐢 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫,  his hands clutched tighter on the controls of his freighter, so much so that his knuckles were turning white. this wasn’t just any ship, that they were being sent to scout out, recover and bring back any survivors that may be in need of some medical aid.  [ 𝙣𝙤, 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙖𝙨𝙣’𝙩 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙪𝙚. ]  his wife . . . senator amidala was onboard that ship. she was supposed to meet whomever she was meeting, shy of a few hours ago, but never turned up. anakin didn’t have to think twice, before he offered himself up to search for her.

❛ someone will be alive! ❜  he snarled, with teeth gritted together, his jaw tight and locked.  [ 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 — 𝙨𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚. ]  ❛ you just need to have a little more faith . . . ❜  he spoke, with a tone that sounded almost threatening. a sharp glance was taken to the companion that sat at his side.  ❛ . . . entering the atmosphere, now. ❜  he announced, whilst continuing to pilot the ship down. his heart was pounding hard behind his ribs, any harder and he was certain it may burst out of his chest. he could hear his own heart beat, echoing within his own head. he just wanted to find her . . . to know she was safe, that she wasn’t just laying there, among the wreckage of the crashed ship.
