update on mohammeds campaign

thanks to all of your donations i was able to send $1,500 to mohammed almanasra @save-mohamed-family yesterday

mohammed told me this was the happiest he's been since the war started. he's had a lot of issues accessing the funds from the previous campaigns he set up so i can't express how glad i am that this worked.

prices for necessities are extremely high and this money will help him afford food for his family and medicine for his young kids who are suffering from skin diseases and injuries. here's some photos he's sent me of his kids condition, which thankfully he will be able to treat soon when he buys medication.

Enough time has passed: Everything I said on the tags of the last post (now deleted) were a lie, Sam was not beaten into submission to accept his role, the only role he was allowed so not be ‘another monster for Dean to kill’, after constantly being Othered by the narrative, and he did not spend 15 years being the ‘feminine, gay-ish brother’ (derogatory in the show’s context) to fulfil Dean and the audience’s hyper-masculine Dean fantasies, for all of you to call him straight. It’s not his fault that Dean doesn’t have chemistry with anyone (esp not women)

Thinking about post-Swan-Song!Dean who’s a fucking mess without Sam… he sees him everywhere though… and there’s not a night that goes by without Sam in his dreams… sometimes when he drinks too much he can almost fool himself into thinking Sam’s still with him but not quite… but it’s more than he’ll get sober so he continues to drink and drink… Sam will appear differently each time… sometimes the tiny baby brother who saw him as his world, other times that almost unrecognisable young man high on demon blood and rage who refuses to be ‘Sammy’… but the worst is Sam, as he was, before he jumped into the cage… the Sam he had watched jump into the cage… Sometimes Dean found himself reenacting those quiet soft moments like driving in the Impala or drinking whilst stargazing, not saying a word of what had happened between them… other times Dean will scream and rage and break things showing what he had done to him…. Most times end with Dean breaking down and begging Sam, to forgive him for not protecting him, to come back to him, promising this time he’ll be better that he’ll do whatever Sam wants just if he comes back… Sam doesn’t say a word, just looks at him through sad eyes that Dean never finds himself able to look into….

Thinking about bratty Sammy… it’s almost jarring how he can go from being sweet and soft and good to mouthy and stubborn and bitchy… when Sam’s like this, Dean often finds himself with two options; either let Sam continue being a brat till he drops the act and uses his words to ask Dean to fuck him or immediately put him in his place. Sam tends to be sweet and pliant afterwards but it doesn’t last long
