So NANOWRIMO is this month, so here is my start to what I’m writing this year!

“Franz Kafka once said “I am not well; I could have built the Pyramids with the effort it takes me to cling on to life and reason.” I am not Franz Kafka. I on the other hand could have rebuilt New York City from the ground up with the effort it takes me. Arrange all of the intricacies of the metropolis. Place all of the gum on the sidewalk. Place every piece of glitter in every unswept corner. Re-create in perfect script the graffiti on every wall, door, and surface. Voice every roaring noise of the street and every sigh of a passersby. Recreate every conversation with the same intonation, accent, and diction ever held in New York. I will do anything to leave this behind me. To never have to utter the words “I am not well”, I would do anything.”
